Was in the North Augusta area, and wanted a New York style pizza. We ordered a large meat pizza for take out. The pizza was good. Plenty of toppings, and the meatballs were good. The restaurant looked very nice. I did not think the salad was very good and it was very small for the price. There was no added gratuity to take out receipt liked mentioned earlier. I would return for the pizza.

I have been meaning to stop by here for some time. Ive seen that I drive near by on my Yelp app but never stopped. I sure glad I did. This place is on the wrong side of the interstate but people will travel for good food and more for good pizza. I ordered my usual beer from a courteous and attractive server. It came promptly and it was cold enough. Could have been a bit colder but it would do. They claim to be NY style and I wont disagree. The pepperoni pie was very good. The crust just right. Fewer pepperonis than I would like to have seen. Hense the four stars. They could have gotten another star for 10 cents worth of topping on my 14 dollar medium pie. I will return because it has a real local fun kind of place thats not so franchisy as the trendy places to have pizza.

It was good, but nothing like what some of these reviews are raving about. They had some interesting menu items, especially the appetizers and specials. We got the fried pickles, which tasted like they were made in house, but were wayyyy too salty. The pizza was OK, but nothing too special. We got the cheeseburger bacon one and again, too salty. Also the crust was overly chewy and didn't have a very good flavor. Lastly, I got the eggplant parm sub, but it was pretty mushy and not crisp like it should be. It was served with crinkle cut potato chips from a bag. The waitress was friendly and relatively prompt, but it took a long time to get the check and get out, which is unacceptable considering at this point we were the only people left besides one other table. I checked in to get the free fried pickles and this was one of the reasons it took a while, so they should really work out the kinks on this. This place also describes itself as a bar and has pool tables, but it closes at 9!!! My husband thought it would be a nice place to gather with his coworkers, but they don't even get off of work until after 8. It just seems weird to be a bar that closes at 9... I might be back to try the pizza again and some of the appetizers (pimento fried grit stix), but I wouldn't care of I never got back over there.

I have been here a few times and today I got a surprise. A 10% gratuity added on my take out order. I believe in tipping your waiter/waitress/bartender and 15% is fair when dinning in. I believe in a gratuity being added when dinning in with a large group. I am not sure how I feel about tipping someone for answering the phone and then ringing up my to go order. Tonight I ordered three large pizzas for $42.92 and there was an added $4.29 gratuity. I wish I was told BEFORE I placed the order or BEFORE my order was rung up. Did the HIDDEN gratuity make the pizza taste bad? No, the pizza is great. Will I place another take out order? Tonight was my last take out order.

Went here last night after going to pick blueberries down the street. Saw it on the way up to the farm and figured my friends and i would give it a try. The menu was very diverse for a pizza place: so many speciality pizzas that we couldn't decide what to get. the crust and everything is made fresh. We had the fried zuccini sticks, which were amazing. I will be coming back for sure. "Pizza was SOOO good that my wife broke here diet for it. That Good!!"

The food is great... if you are okay waiting for a long time. Untrained staff and the owner doesn't seem able to pick up when they are short handed. We have hit or miss experiences here but usually avoid it when possible.

I have pretty high expectations for pizza, especially those that claim NY style. I wasn't expecting much from a pizza joint in North Augusta but to my surprise, the pizza was excellent! The crust was thin, chewy, and perfect. We ordered half pepperoni and half sausage. They use quality ingredients and the sauce is great. It's like a little slice of NY in the middle of nowhere! The service was great too, we were seated promptly and looked after like family. I would definitely recommend Vinny's to anyone searching for REAL NY style pizza. Oh, and the breadsticks are great too! Smothered with mozzarella and served with marinara...yum! However, just a heads up...they are closed Sundays.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
