Was here last night for a friend's wedding and the one thing I like about the south is the houses that they have that can be used as wedding / party venues. The wedding was not that big, which allowed for my friend to have both her wedding and reception here (not sure if that's always the case depending on how big and what type of wedding is happening). After the outdoor portion of the wedding, we were ushered inside so we could greet the couple (and this is essentially where the cash bar and food is). They did have some tables inside, but noticed they had tables set up outside (I was assuming at first that the outside tables were going to be for us to eat at, and inside would be for "cocktail hour", but our group made most of the indoor area as it was on the warm side last night. Not sure if they have various packages depending on what you want, but we had a good selection of hor deurves (sp?). My only "complaint" was amount of parking, not knowing the capacity of people that can be here at one time - the amount of parking was OK for the size of our party, but we pretty much filled up the parking area. I know space us a factor since the this is still in the heart of Lexington and there's not too much to work with.
