To-go? Yes, please! Lunch take outs are $6.99 each. So for $14.96 tax included, I was given 2 take out boxes and 2 pint sized plastic containers (that's enough food for 4 people). The 2 plastic containers were specifically given to me for soups or fruits to our liking. How awesome is that? I ended up taking home a full 3 course meal (soup, appetizers, main dishes, and dessert/fruits). I will say that the selection is not the biggest, which really couldn't be helped since the restaurant itself was not that big. But for the size of the restaurant, I thought they did really well with trying to offer a good variety; for example, I noticed that the individual food trays were smaller, to accommodate the fact that their buffet area was smaller, so that they could still offer more variety. They did not offer white rice the day I went. As far as the taste go, it should satisfy the average buffet palate in everyone. Some items tasted better than others, but I feel like for the price that I paid, I am not complaining at all. As long as you don't expect phenomenal food from your average buffet, then you won't be disappointed coming here! I'm actually from the DC area, and I happened to stumble upon this place on my way home for 4th of July, so I probably won't have a chance to revisit this place, but if I could, I definitely would!

The food was terrible, the chicken was slimy and the rice tasted like microwave rice. Not only that, but we asked for fried rice and got home with white rice. The only good thing was the portion sizes, but the quality of food for the price was just terrible.

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! These people have no clue how to run a business! They cannot understand English to take your order and they are terribly rude! The lady who answered the phone couldn't understand me so, she just hung up. I called back and she said they were not taking orders and hung up again. It was only 6pm. She was just frustrated bc she couldn't understand me! What the heck? Complete idiots. Needless to say, order your Chinese from somewhere who actually appreciates your business and can understand our language!

Terrible! Please don't waste your money. We drove a long way to get there just because we saw good reviews so we finally we got there. Cold old food was waiting for us that's why you have to pay first. My boyfriend went to get his food when my son dropped his toy under the table. He went to go get it when he screams after he saw a dead cockroach under the table. I doubt they would pass inspection from what I saw. Hibachi? I didn't see a hibachi grill... Save your money please.

My mom and I ate here for lunch. It was absolutely the WORSE food I've ever tasted. We had to pay before we sat down to eat and I didn't receive a receipt. The bathroom was extremely disgusting. there was mold on the walls and they floors were dirty. The food on the buffet was old, dry, and salty. The lettuce on the salad bar was brown. The oranges and the strawberries looked as though there for days. My mom was given a glass of cloudy water. The ice-cream machine was old and dirty. The ceiling needed to be replaced and the chairs were sticky. I DO NOT recommend this place to anyone and I'll never eat there again.

I'm not a picky eater but this place was terrible.. They make you pay first before you grab a plate, probably because you won't want to pay for it afterwards. Food was old and cold. There was a cockroach at my feet at the table. There were several tables that still had dirty plates and flies flying around.. I will never go near this place again!

Good food at a decent price. Great variety in the buffet and a good dessert buffet. They even have fresh crab on the buffet.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
