Very busy on a Saturday morning so it took a while to get our food. But this wasn't the biggest issue. Husbands food came out ice cold, this is a problem when you wait that long for food. I had eggs Benedict , we both liked it very much. The kids liked their food of course. Not sure yet of we'll get back there.

The server was friendly and prompt .. food was hot and very good .. onion sausage was almost perfect .. sausage gravy was great .. good breakfast place .. we need more of these in the area

As far as breakfast goes, there's a lot of droney mediocrity out there. I will say this about Compton's Kitchen, the food tastes like there's an actual Southerner working in the kitchen, and the biscuits definitely didn't come out of a Pilsbury can.

Not a good experience. In at 8:30 on a Mondsy morning, only a few other customers. The wait staff was so busy complaining to each other (about customer & management) we finally got up and got our own menus. Scrambled eggs were over cooked, biscuits were tough and chewy, grits drenched in butter(?). My fried flounder and hubby's country-fried steak were just okay. No real butter served..some kind of whipped "spread".....really? I'll stick to the west cola location for an occasional lunch, won't be back here.. Waffle House is better!

Walk in expecting a local breakfast place. It is not fancy, but tasty! Coffee is good! I normally need some sort of sweetener, but today, only cream. Robust and cob-web clearing. Waitress was very accommodating, clearing a table quickly so I would have access to a power outlet. They make basted eggs! My favorite! Who else makes these? Only Compton's! (and me, but I don't feel like cooking.) Corned beef hash is canned variety, but they cook it like I like it, with a crust. Want a decent meal with good coffee and a smile to start your day? Compton's has it.

Food waz Great and Service waz Good! Good ole home made taste which i loved being i am far from home will be returning here for Brunch again!!!
