Jersey Mike’s Subs

Jersey Mike's is the closest to a Philadelphia steak that we can get here in the Carolina's. The service is awesome. Owner is great and all of the employees. Never had a bad experience.
This place works for a nice sub. The staff is always so annoyed to work there though. It's not a 5 star restaurant so it's fine but seriously every time I'm there they seem annoyed that they have to make another sub.
The best subs around and the freshest bread. Recommend the Philly or Tuna or Club Sub no matter what get it Mikes Way. THE BEST.

Marco’s Pizza

Okay, it's not the best pizza I've ever had, but in an area where chain pizza joints are the only other options, Marco's is the best option. Seriously cant believe someone said Dominos or Papa Johns were better options - Marco's is much closer to the real thing. Only reason there arent more stars is that I asked specifically before I ordered their version of Supreme if it had lotsa veggies on it, and then said yes. All it had was onions and mushrooms. No olives, or peppers, or nothin. That was disappointing.
Liked that as soon as you walk thru the door the employees all shout out " welcome to Marcos!!" Fast and friendly service.
I have had three mediocre pizzas from Marco's. The pizza has way too much sauce on it and they over cook the cheese. The wait for a dine in order takes way too long. On two occasions I waited over 30 minutes for a pizza and it wasn't during a busy time. I would recommend Dominos or Papa Johns over Marco's Pizza.

Be sure you check your Chick Fil A bag to make sure your order is complete! It seems every time I go through their drive through, my order will inevitably be missing an item. Most of the time it's my hash browns. When I call back to let them know, they say they'll send me a coupon. But funny enough it never comes in the mail. The food is good - IF you actually get it home. Go to the one on Rea and Ardrey Kell instead.
This is a great Chick-Fil-A. The employees are so nice, the management is always out on the floor assisting customers and cleaning tables. They will bring your food to you which is nice when you are with small kids. The food is standard so no variation from the norm. And its pretty much the only Chick-Fil-A in the area so they have that advantage, which means it can get busy, but they handle it well.
What a wonderful franchise! They do it all well: service, employee attitude, cleanliness, food quality, amenities and efficiency. This is a southern thing and it is so good. All chicken stuff, sit in or drive through. The drive through is almost always loaded. Two lanes and waiters walking down the waiting line of cars taking orders and calling them in. Very efficient and quick. When you walk in the employees are uniformed and clean. Managers have on ties or a different shirt and they are on the line watching and helping. You order and can just take a seat, which is very helpful to a mom and children coming for a meal. Your order will be delivered to your table. Employees circulate the dining area asking if you would like a drink refill or anything else and they actually take your beverage to the counter, have it filled and return it to you. Gee! The play area, as JB elaborated in his lengthy review, is super. A glass wall allows parents to watch the play area and basically adults are not permitted entry, but sometimes one needs to capture an happy child in order to leave the restaurant and that is OK. They recently added some wonderful doughy, yeasty biscuits each containing a pure white meat fried nugget of chicken. Man o Man, three of those little darlings with a cup of decent coffee is a fine way to activate your drowsing body for the day. Southern hospitality is practiced and is sincere. This franchise wants you as a continuing customer and it shows. And they are closed on Sundays, even at airport and mall locations. Kudos to Chick-fil-A for standing up for something in our ever manic society.

Prompted by the great reviews my wife and I went for lunch. Service was prompt and friendly. We tried the corned beef and pastrami sandwiches on rye. They were okay but nothing to rave about - especially the pastrami which was not as tasty as we expected. We are both from NYC and believe we know what good pastrami should taste like. Won't be back.
I agree with the reviewer who spoke of the pushy waitress. Brother! There was only one other couple in the whole restaurant. So it was not like she was busy and overloaded with orders. Her manners and demeanor were downright offensive. The food was greasy, greasy, greasy. Omelets were absolutely swimming in grease! The ambiance was brown, brown, and more brown. Pass on this place . . .
Have ate breakfast here and "dinner" once. First of all there is nothing "special" about the specials on the breakfast menu. No special prices or anything. The specials are on the everyday menu. Not happy with cost for the quality of the food. Suspect breakfast potatoes were from a freezer or cooked, frozen, and reheated. Eggs were good, but most people can cook an egg. The time I went for dinner was between 7-8 pm during a weekday. The cook had just turned off the grill, so no burgers or hot cooked stuff. I ended up having a tuna sandwich on the smallest wheat bread ever, tomato and lettuce. And a VIP of reheated tomato soup. Totally underwhelmed and paid over $12 for this meal. Poor quality, little quantity food. Way over priced for the area. Really had high hopes for this place. They need to make changes or good bye.

Clearly a great addition to the Indian Land restaurant scene, especially as it really is a sit-down place to eat with a full bar and onion rings. Have been at least six times having eaten breakfast once, lunch twice and dinner three times. Menu is good, soup of the day as an option, generous salads (even their side salad which is more than enough), pizza (where you can ask for thin crust), dinner and lunch plates and... Really GREAT onion rings. These crusty donuts from the lily family are not out of a bag or some other frozen source, but done in their kitchen from scratch. They are wide, but thin, some kind of maybe pan-co breading and nicely fried. When you get them as a side, say with a burger, someone, most likely you, will exclaim, "oh my" or words to that effect. They are impressive both on the plate and traveling through your mouth. Fried green tomatoes are available as appetizer, salad and as a sandwich. I think you could also get them as a side with your burger. Don't know but they could have named Reagan's Fried Green Tomatoes or Fried Green Maters. Service is excellent, prices reasonable, there are TVs and did I mention the onion rings? Bar is the real thing, so order what you want, like Gin Marys with breakfast or tea with a shot in cold weather or one of their drafts.
I had the honor of accompanying my husband to Reagan's "soft opening" last night in Indian Land, and am so excited for what is to follow for this restaurant. Located directly off 521, just outside of Waxhaw, Fort Mill and Charlotte, this bar and restaurant is perfect for folks like us who aren't interested in driving 45+ to downtown Charlotte for good food and, more importantly, craft beer. The atmosphere was easy going yet leaning towards upscale (without suggesting any pretension). I admired how few televisions adorned the walls as this seems to be the norm these days (think Duckworths in Ballantyne). My party was able to enjoy a normal conversation over dinner without raised voices or concern that others could overhear--perfect. The service was on point. Our waitress was attentive, sweet and not overbearing. The bartenders suggested delicious new beers (all of which are brewed in NC, SC, or GA!) and the management was so nice and very interactive. Great group working very well together. For an appetizer, we ordered fried green tomatoes. Delish. I wish there had been more, but I am after all rather gluttonous. Dinner for me includes fish and chips, handmade dip fresh cut fries. Yum! Everything was fresh and super tasty. I think we may have to return soon to sample more... And more reviews to follow!! :-)
I think Reagan's is a great addition to Indian Land! I have been several times for lunch and also after work for drinks and appetizers. Every time has been a wonderful experience with great service and excellent food. My favorite item at lunch is the PJM sandwich and my favorite appetizer is the fried banana peppers. I think the lunch combo (pick 2 from soup, sandwich, or salad) is a great value. I look forward to trying dinner here soon! I have heard they will be adding some outdoor seating this Spring.

KFC

Reviews:
Food is good however not having been at a KFC in years, I was shocked at the micro sized chicken pieces and biscuit. Chicken breast was the size of a small thigh; wing was as if it came from a small bird. Biscuit was about 1.5" in diameter.
Was so excited that KFC was coming to Indian Land, SC. Have been to this one 3 times. It's been packed everytime I have gone. The last visit was disappointing and it will be a while before I go back. My husband got the $7.95 buffet and I got a $3.99 nugget meal. We both shared our meals with our 15 month old grandson. I asked my husband to get a couple of specific things off the buffet to feed our grandson. This was overheard by a older looking KFC employee who was cleaning up the dining room. Sorry I did not get his name or I would post it on here. He proceeded to "alert" another employee as to "what I was doing" and asked them to "watch me". I guess he thinks I was "sharing" off my husbands buffet. I did finish my meal first, so he could have thought this. I would gladly have shown him our receipt to show him I was not mooching. When I do decide to go back, I will be announcing to the cashier that I will be feeding my grandson off my plate and if they have a problem, I can leave. I suspect they will be posting a "No Sharing" sign in the next few weeks if not days.
Waited at the counter for 10 minutes to get served as they cleaned up they didn't acknowledge me. Finally came to counter and I asked for the Buffet (8:29pm) and was told it was closed. I few items missing but overall a full buffet. A customer asking to buy food and you turn them away??? Maybe the trash can will get to eat it. So I left and went down the road to Bojangles and had a great experience!! The one on the other side of 521...very friendly and great food
