It blows my mind that there is a good Japanese and Thai restaurant in Greenwood of all places. The lunch menu features affordable food. I love the hibachi chicken which comes with choice of fried rice/steamed rice, soup, and salad for $5.95. There are several different items on the Thai menu that I like too, but I cannot remember how to pronouce or spell the names. Just know that you get to choose the meat and the heat level. The Thai lunch dishes come with steamed rice and coconut soup or spring roll. The only time that I had a meal that was less than expected was when I ordered the Thai BBQ pork. The waiter could not explain what it was to me and so I thought it was similar to Korean BBQ. The pork was well seasoned and appeared to have been cooked in a skillet. It was served sliced on the bias over shredded cabbage with garlic oil on the side. I had to order a side of steamed sticky rice to accompany it since I knew the meat would not suffice if that was all I ate for lunch. The whole meal was not what I was used to receiving from Fusion. But I know part of that was miscommunication from the waiter and my preconcieved idea of what to expect. Overall, I know I can get a good, tasty dish at Fusion.

Decent food for Greenwood. A cut above what one might expect.

Have always been happy with the food at Fusion. Been there several times with girlfriends for lunch...Lunch portion has always been large enough to take home 1/2 of meal! I especially like their Basil Rolls and LOVE their special soup made with chicken broth, coconut milk and just the right amount of flavors . Wish I knew their recipe!! You can order their meals with different degrees of "heat" with fresh ginger. If you dine by yourself...can sit at the fresh sushi bar and watch the one chef prepare all in front of you. Friendly staff and good service.

Basic Japanese and Thai food offered at this somewhat clean establishment. Ordered the bento box for lunch with salad. Asian salad consist of two pcs of iceberg lettuce and Asian dressing. Dishwater like miso soup. Stale rice perhaps leftover from last night. Overlooked teriyaki chicken. Next time there's an urge for Japanese I will probably opt for another place.

It's hard to find good quality sushi. This place is a gem for the Greenwood area. The sushi is always good. Anytime I have a taste for sushi and I'm in town I go to this restaurant. Haven't been disappointed yet. They sell Japanese and Thai dishes. I like their Pad Thai.

Great service and great food! Always packed on a Friday night. The Thai food is excellent. I have never been a curry fan, but the massaman curry is awesome.

So much happened, not sure where to begin, let me first say that the staff went out of its way to make things right and tried very hard to fix things. I ordered the Hibachi Shrimp Dinner, which came with soup, salad, vegetable and rice and also a Dragon Roll, total cost $24.25 plus $5.00 tip. Had a problem at the beginning, as I ordered Miso Soup to go with the Shrimp, I was informed that the Miso was $3.00 extra and pointed out that nowhere on the menu does it say that. The extra charge is only on to-go orders and does not apply for dine-in. I told the staff to leave out the soup if I can't get the Miso, as I didn't care for a basic chicken broth. The staff at the last minute did go ahead and place the Miso with my order. My order was ready after a bit and left with my to-go order. I was halfway across the parking lot, when one of the staff came running out with my Dragon Roll, it never made it into the bag. I got back to my hotel and noticed that the salad also was missing from the order, along with chopsticks, soy sauce for the roll. Since the restaurant is right in front of the hotel, they offered to bring the salad over for me, while at this point I was tired of the whole process just to get something to eat. I told that it was not necessary and that I just wanted to let them know it was missing. They did end up insisting and returned the missing salad along with a free coke. Overall, the Hibachi Shrimp and sides were good; however, the Dragon Roll rice was a bit undercooked. The whole overall experience of the soup overcharges not being on the menu, the missing items and the staff having to walk over the missing salad after almost forgetting the Roll. It made for a not so great dinner experience and I lost interest in it halfway through the meal. I had high hopes and was disappointed from the beginning. I usually will give a place a second chance, since off nights happen. This was far beyond an off night, that I will have to think real hard about going back.

Their hibachi meals are a guilty pleasure of mine (definitely not high-quality or authentic Japanese food, but they're covered in rich, slightly nauseating sauces that satisfy something greasy deep within you), but the sushi and Thai food is the worst I've EVER had. Also what is that soup that comes with the hibachi meals meant to be??? I have literally no idea. Is it supposed to be miso?? Who knows. Pretty sure it's watered-down chicken broth with rice krispies and one slice of mushroom. En somme: still eating it, but I feel bad about it.

The food was warm, well prepared, tasty, and generously portioned. We came with a large group and one waitress managed to keep all 16 of us happy. She was truly sweet and maybe a teenie but overwhelmed but I can't blame her. I'd definitely return if given the opportunity.

My first Thai experience was a good one. I like spicy food, but our server suggested I start on the milder end of the spectrum, and the heat was spot-on. I had the cream cheese wonton appetizer and a chicken entrée. My husband had sushi. His plate was so beautiful! He ate every bite. I don't usually choose to take home leftovers, but I didn't want to waste a bite of this delicious meal. The service was a little slow, but the food is worth the wait. We'll definitely be back.

Awful experience! This was the second time I'd been here. The first time I only ordered Sushi. When I ordered without mayo, they put mayo on it, had to take it back, and bring out a new serving without mayo. Tonight was the same but worse. Same deal with the sushi. The waitress gaurenteed me there was no mayo on it...there was:( I know better to tick off a wait staff before you get your main course, so, I let it ride. For my entree, I ordered my favorite Thai dish, Pad Kee Mow. This was THE WORST PAD KEE MOW THAT I'VE EVER HAD!!! PERIOD. It was spicier than I requested, but I could deal with that. To be honest, the heat actually helped mask the grossness of this dish. The consistency was SLIMY. I'd love to use another adjatiave, but that is the only way to describe it. Pad Kee Mow is not supposed to be slimy, it is supposed to be be moist. Not only was it slimy, it just tasted awful. The one good thing I'll say is that they give you a lot of food. Unfortunately, they gave me a lot of bad food. After eating two bites, the waitress came by and asked if everything was ok...I think she saw me holding my fork and trying to decide if I could choke down another bite. I told her my opinion and she asked if I was going to eat the rest of it and I told her no. She then took my plate, brought my check (in the full amount) and that was that (no manager, no new dish, no discount, nothing). I never request my bill to be lowered when I order something that ends up tasting bad and I never except a discounted bill when a restaurant offers, but it's still nice for them offer. In SC, I have eaten this dish in Anderson, Greenville, Columbia, and Charleston. I have also eaten this dish in NY, LA, Seattle, Chicago, Boston, Houston, Knoxville, Nashville, DC, KC, San Fran, Pittsburg, Columbus, Phoenix, Dallas, Sacramento, Charllotte, Philly, and Ft Lauderdale off the top of my head. Not only have I never had a bad meal eating this dish before, it has literally been great everywhere that I've had it. I laugh when I see 4 stars and just have to chalk it up to "its Greenwood and maybe they don't know much about Thai food". This is the worst Thai food I've had anywhere, and I've had it almost everywhere.

OK, so me and the wife went for lunch to this amazing restaurant the other day. We both ordered from the Thai menu because we were looking for good Thai food after we moved here a while back. I got the combination pad thai and she got a lamb dish, sorry can't remember the exact name. You get to select the heat level for your dish as well, and they were spot on in their heat scales. Everything we ordered was amazing and reasonably priced for the amount of food you get with your order. All i can say is if you have never been here before you must go and try it. We both look forward to going back this weekend.

I've been to Fusion twice now, and both times the food was excellent. I've now had two different Thai dishes (spicy basil, and garlic pepper), and both were first-rate. Also, their heat meter is right on, my first time I asked for Thai-hot, and what they delivered was positively nuclear. Next time I downgraded to 'hot', and it was plenty hot, right on the money (nose-blowing). In both cases, there were plenty of good, fresh vegetables. I only give them 4 stars as I have not tried the sushi.

Fusion is, hands down, the best "sit-down" "Non-buffet" place in greenwood. Nagoya (owned by the same group) is just as great, but a little more expensive (it is a live hibachi bar though, so it is understandable). Staff is friendly and attentive...sometimes you have to flag someone down, but they usually help right away.

I went to this restaurant twice while staying in Greenwood. The first time I had sushi, which would satisfy anyone who has never had truly good sushi. It got rid of my craving, but I've never had a greasier Super Crunch Roll in my life. I also found it irritating there was no menu online; & when I called to place my order the girl who answered was zero help. It was also difficult to locate, even with GPS. The next day I had hibachi chicken for lunch. The price was right, and I got what I paid for. Still nothing amazing. If you're used to suburban japanese, then go here. If you're stuck in a very small town & don't want chain food, then go here. Don't expect to have the rave reviews you read though if you've ever eaten truly amazing high grade sushi
