I had the chicken salad salad. Chicken salad was fresh, chunky and had grapes. Very good and I am really picky on my chicken salad. The salad greens were fresh and crunchy. Overall good salad. My husband had the chicken strips. He said they were good. The spicy were too spicy for him though. I will go back

When we are in a rush Bushes always gets us out of a rush. The staff is friendly and helpful. The food comes out quickly and the sides are also good. The prices are also much better than KFC.

On a rare occasion, I crave chicken fingers. I'm sure it happens to everyone. There was a great place on the West Coast that could satisfy that craving. Since moving to the Southeast, I've been, unsuccessfully so far, searching for a replacement. The Golden Chick chain just popped up here recently, so I thought I would give it a try. Service was fast, and the serving was HUGE. I got the chicken fingers and fries...just to test out the basics. I got 50/50 regular and spicy chicken. The spicy was simply a big uneven blob of cayenne on the regular chicken. To be honest, though, most of it was on the bottom of the box...along with about 85% of the coating for all the chicken, which had flaked off all the chicken fingers and was in the bottom of the box. The meal came with a tub of some sort of gravy, which was room temperature and such a thick blob that I could turn the container upside down and it didn't move...like a tub of paste. It's interesting that another reviewer described the gravy as "thin and not seasoned". That is completely inconsistent with my experience (although I can speak to the seasoning, because it was so unappetizing that I didn't try it). All of the above aside, I still gave it a try. I only ate about 1/2 of one chicken finger, and 2 or 3 fries (which were ok if you like 'battered' French fries)...but the rest was so unappetizing I didn't feel like finishing anything.

Best chicken tenders in greenville. Very fresh. Way better than bojangles and zaxbys in my opinion. I get the 4 tenders meal with corn nuggets every time. Great rolls. Only place I know of anywhere around that has corn nuggets.

Fast and friendly service. The chicken was very tender but didn't have a lot of flavor. The chicken strips come with gravy, but it was very thin and not seasoned. The fried okra was good, and the yeast roll warm and soft. Overall, a good meal and we'll return to try some other items on the menu. The free ice cream cone for dine in customers is a nice treat!

We've never heard of this place but like to try new things. The first thing I noticed was the drive thru getting, "... Please review our menu and order when ready." Every other fast food joint makes me feel pressured... Not Golden Chick. The lady at the drive thru was friendly and didn't bark a total at us, but greeted us. The food arrived very quickly and was hot all the way home. We both had spicy chicken, fries and sweet tea. The tea was perfectly southern, fries were hot with good seasoning and the chicken was plentiful and delicious. We were delightfully surprised to find that the meal came with a dinner roll and small side of country gravy - both of which were fantastic! I would definitely eat here again.

Fast food chicken and catfish. I have been here four times now. It is fast. They are friendly. The food has exceeded my expectations. The roasted chicken is quite good. I would recommend the dirty rice as a side. It is tasty. On my latest trip I tried the catfish. It has that sandy corn meal crust that I love. It was perfectly fried. Not greasy. Not overcooked.

Bought okra which was ok but it's hard to find good fried okra. Went through drive thru and service was fast but not all that friendly. Am not sure if I will return.

Really good fast food. I ordered a roast chicken breast and an order of jalapeno poppers. The poppers were good and came with a side of ranch dressing. But the chicken--so moist, juicy and flavorful with just the right amount of spice. I will be back. I'm thinking I might work this into my bi-weekly dinner rotation--pick up some roast chicken to bring home and eat with some healthy, homemade sides.

Cook's uniform (male) was over-powdered and appeared torn. The biggest issue was NO paper towels in their men's bathroom within their first hour of being open for business for the day (right at the start of lunch hour). Oversize style roll dispenser, garbage can did not have a lot of paper towels in it. Indicates 2 things: 1. Managers/employees are looking over basic cleanliness items and not stocking basic needs before opening for the day. 2. This is a health concern. Begs the question, if employees are washing their hands before service. Another potential contamination spot in this restaurant is they do not have an attached auto ice maker on top of the self serve soda machine. This means employees must stock the ice with buckets. Most fast food restaurants have upgraded to the auto ice makers to alleviate potential cross contamination. Think about it. Coupled with the hand washing concern, run this potential scenario. Employee is rushing to cook chicken and may forget to completely wash hands. Employee is then asked to restock ice bin over soda machine. See where a potential problem could arise, if employee's hand touches any of the ice loading methods?

The fried chicken was very different from what you find with other fast food options. Usually you may find greasy or overcooked fried food, but not here. They have plenty of side options to choose from. Overall pleased with the restaurant. Family friendly. The staff was very nice and quick. I recommend it!
