Found this place by accident years ago when picking up a Tux for a friend's wedding. For the past 6-7 years this has been a must stop for me when I am in town. The cookies are some of the best I have ever had. I have never been disappointed with anything purchased from here. Warning for those with kids, they do give free cookies when you come in, so be prepared to have to bring them back.

They have excellent selections. Just a bit turned off this morning when I discovered they don't open until 9am. Seriously? Pleasantburg is so busy at 8am, not sure why 9am is the opening time. Would have liked to have bought from the Chocolate Shoppe today, but that hour later opening caused me to go to Publix instead. Oh well

Anyone that offers free samples of stuff this good deserves at least 4 stars! I have only been once, and got 4 dozen cookies. Every variety that I purchased was great, and were a hit with the people I took them too. The staff was so friendly- There is really no reason not to stop in here and try out their great, delectable treats.

I am from Philadelphia, PA and got married in Greenville. While there my husband and I visited this place nestled in a little strip mall. When you walk in you are greeted with an intoxicating smell of sweet goodness and a smiling, friendly employee who greets you with a chocolate chip cookie. The cookies are AMAZING!!! We got the chocolate chip, oatmeal and sugar cookies. We also purchased chocolate turtles and magic bars that one of the customers said we should try. Everything is absolutely delicious and fresh. You can tell they use quality ingredients. My only complaint is that I wish they would make the cookies a little bigger. If you have a sweet tooth or have a weakness for desserts, you MUST go to the Chocolate Shoppe.

My wife mentioned this the other day and was surprised that I had never heard of it. Needless to say, I had to go check it out. I was greeted warmly and they took the time to answer my questions. Nothing fancy about the place, and not a great deal of variety, but the cookies I purchased were tasty. Not sure I get the "Chocolate Shoppe" name because most of what I saw was cookies, but with that said, it was good enough for me to go back again when my next sweet tooth strikes!

Nice little chocolate and cookie shop in a strip mall. I decided to check it out and buy a surprise for my partner. Service was spot on. Was greeted by the owner as I walked in and then he handed me a cookie. I wasn't going to get cookies before I walked in but after that one, I decided to get some. The snickerdoodles and choc chip pecan cookies were great. I also ordered some truffles and chocolate covered stuffs. The chocolate itself was good. I enjoyed the peanut butter truffles. But I also got some chocolate covered pretzel logs which is one of my favorites and sadly, the pretzels were stale, and not just a little either. :( My other complaint is the prices were not displayed on most items. I will go back for the cookies and maybe truffles but am leery of getting the other stuff.
