Yes it is a pizza buffet. Yes you will get buffet pizza on the pizza buffet BUT when I arrive at 2:30 in the afternoon and the was barely anything on the bar and not another customer in sight? This was my experience... The first thing that happened was they asked what type of pizza I liked and without hesitation they got it cooking and made sure I was able to try anything that I wanted...that is definitely 5 star customer service that continued for the duration of the visit! Now to the buffet pizza...it was good. Actually better than I expected! Fresh, hot, and good flavor for buffet pizza. 5 stars This is not a high end place but It's not trying to be. For the money it was a great value for good pizza and great service. This was my first visit here but I won't hesitate to stop in again.

Iama Critic Rating - Stevi B's Pizza - 2 Stars 1451 Woodruff Road, Greenville, SC Our Experience: When it comes to pizza buffets in Greenville, SC. your choices are rather limited. They include Pizza Inn, CiCi's, Frodo's, Chuck E. Cheese, and Stevi B's, and every last one of them suck! There is a sense where we could end this review right now and be done with it, but that isn't very helpful. So here is the rest of the story. Pizza Inn used to be our "go to" pizza buffet because, despite the horrid regular pizzas they had on the buffet, they were willing to make whatever pizza you really wanted, and those special order pizzas were just as good as their full price take out pizzas. But Pizza Inn has taken a dive in the last two years and now they are just as bad as the rest. So we have been driving all over town for the last year hoping one of these $6 - $8 pizza buffets would decide to lead the pack. But to no avail. Now you might be thinking "Gee, Iama, $8 isn't a lot of money, what do you expect for $8?" And you are right; $8 isn't a lot of money. But I am not expecting what you get at a gourmet pizza shop. However, I know of half a dozen Mexican buffets for under $8 that are actually good, one of them I even rate 4 Stars. So if I can get good Mexican for $8, why can't I get good pizza for $8? It is a lot harder to make good Mexican than it is to slop together a pizza and chuck it into an oven. The Service - 0 Stars (0% tip) Stevi B's is a pay first, self-serve restaurant and does not provide wait service, or at least none that we saw when we were there. So we consider a tip optional and based on whether or not the staff was willing to make us a specialty pizza. They were willing, but the pizza was terrible, so we did not leave a tip. We typically provide 20% or more for 5 star service on the pre-tax portion of the bill, 18% for 4, 15% for 3, 12% for 2 and 0% for 1 star service. The Buffet: $6.69 Pizza Buffet - 2 Stars When your soda fountain drink cost 30% of the cost of your buffet, perhaps it is time to increase the buffet price and add a little quality. Buffet Items: Buffet Pizza - 2 Stars I estimate the pizzas at Stevi B's were 80% crust and 20% topping. If you scrape off the toppings on any pizza slice there is about a single forkful of topping per pizza slice. In my entire life I have never made a pizza with toppings this thin, but it is about on par with those really cheap frozen pizzas I used to eat when I was a poor college boy. Special Order Pizza - 1 Star I wouldn't mind an entire buffet just like you find at Stevi B's if I can special order what I want and actually get what I order. So I special ordered a Taco Pizza. What I received was nothing short of amazing... in a bad way. The Taco Pizza had nothing on it but cheese, onions and tortilla chips. Serious, take a look at the photo, it is a real hoot! There was no lettuce, no meat, no taco seasoning, no tomato bits, nothing you always see on a Taco Pizza. It made Pizza Inn's Taco Pizza look lavish! Salad Bar - 2 Stars The salad bar at Stevi B's was rather meager and stale. However, after literally five minutes I was able to pick out enough ingredients to compose a very nice, and very pretty salad worthy of three stars. But I highly doubt many customers are going to go through all that effort. Pastas - 2 Stars The pasta selection was limited to penne pasta with meat sauce. The sauce was extremely thin and lacked any spice whatsoever. There are more flavors in Prego. I added a bunch of parmesan cheese and red pepper until it was decent. However the garlic bread sticks were really good. In fact, they were the best thing at Stevi B's! How I wish the pizza had some of those spices. Total Bill: $18.75 for two adults, including tax and two soda fountain drinks. Final Thoughts: I am not sure who the target customers are for these low cost pizza buffets, but apparently I am not one of them. I don't mind low cost food. In fact I cook decent food for homeless people all the time, and our cost is way below Stevi B's. But when I can go to La Fiesta and enjoy a four star Mexican buffet for $7, it makes it hard to choke down these terrible pizzas that could easily and cost effectively be made much better. Pizza Inn used to do it, and I have no doubt that Stevi B's could do it if they wanted to. But until they start putting more than a forkful of toppings on a slice of pizza, you are better off walking over to Sam's Club and getting one of their hot, fresh, and loaded to the hilt $9 supreme pizzas. But then that isn't really comparing pizzas to pizzas.

This is the most awesome pizza buffet in town. I've tried the others but none of them compare. There's definitely something to be said about the personalized service you get. Yes it may just be pizza but this is just an amazing place to be. They will make anything you want as long as the ingredients are available. The best thing is that if you have any issues, compliments, compliments, etc... The owner is there 98% of the time. Don't pass up this pizza joint. If you've tried Ci Ci's and decided to swear off pizza buffets because either the food was sub par or the service was horrible; if you went to Pizza Inn and are annoyed because they have waiters that get pissed because you attempt to refill your own drink because that so called waiter (whose only job is to refill your drinks and expects a huge tip to do so) tells you that customers aren't allowed over there; Then you need to try Stevi Bs. For the past 6 years I have had no other pizza buffet. We stopped patronizing the other buffets. Then we were lucky enough to fine Stevi B's.

I don't frequent buffets often but this one has to be hands down the best pizza buffet in Greenville -- clean, great service, and fresh pizza! They will customize any pizza you like and offer white or wheat crust. Highly recommend!
