Steak Out is exactly what it claims to be: delicious take-out/ delivery steak. If you have a craving for red meat but want to cut out the crap of fine dining at a steak house and the exertion of grilling a steak yourself... this place is for you! I stopped by Steak Out on a whim. A steak-craving whim. My boyfriend and I had the ribeye steak sandwich and the sirloin steak sandwich. We figured that we should eat steak sandwiches in the event that the meat was not very good. We very much underestimated the power of Steak Out because... guess what? The sandwiches were AWESOME. Our steaks were juicy and flavorful and grilled perfectly to our order (medium and medium rare) My only complaint is that the steaks were not cut before being placed on the bread--so I started eating my sandwich like a total caveman, ripping off chunks of red meat with my incisors and licking my lips and fingers in satisfaction. This dining behavior is totally inappropriate for public environments but absolutely appropriate in the privacy of your own home--and since Steak Out is meant to be enjoyed at home... you can go wild and get down going savage on your dinner. Next time we will get steak, sans sandwich. Also, the owner Taz is so welcoming and nice! She chatted with us and talked to us about the Steak Out menu. She gave us two JUMBO sweet teas to sip on while we waited for our steaks to cook.

I don't know why I continue to order from this particular Steak Out, this was the last time for sure. When we called to complain the owner argued with us about whether something was cooked.....I was looking at the food, it was all under cooked. Owner is never helpful or gracious. Outback Steakhouse taste much better and may even be cheaper (we got two sirloin sandwiches for $28 from Steak Out). Save yourself the annoyance of bad food and even worse customer service and get take out from Outback or City Range. steak outs usually have good food and are managed well, not this location. They lost a good customer tonight.

Never again. First time ordering from this establishment. We had quite a sizeable order for the family and instead of going out we thought we'd order in. Big mistake. Cold food. Over-done steaks. And an incomplete order. Called to ask for our missing item, we were told it might be an hour. Fine. Hour later called again because it still wasn't delivered. We were again told it was on its way. TWO Hours later I called once again and asked for the manager, who decided after I complained about the terrible customer service, to hang up on me. Like I said, NEVER AGAIN!!

The stake I ordered (10 oz. sirloin) was cooked perfect (medium) and the salad was crisp and fresh. Driver was here in about 30 minutes. Garlic mashed potatoes were good and they also provided steak sauce, honey butter for my roll, etc. Will definitely be ordering from Steak-Out again!! And the cheesecake??? Awesome!!

If you want to avoid the stereotypical pizza or Chinese delivery fare, I HIGHLY recommend Steak-Out. Ordered a sirloin steak, salad and cheesecake for lunch that was delivered to my hotel room. All in all, I was really surprised. The steak was prepared as I asked and was a bargain for the price. (I ordered the 10 oz.). The accompanying baked potato was still steaming hot and more than enough so far as proportions. The cheesecake was great. The salad was, in comparison to the other items, rather small in proportion. With that said, this was easily overlooked by the well-cooked steak, large baked potato and cheesecake. All of this for $21 - good deal in my book. Just a word of advice, eating a steak out of a styrofoam carton with plastic utensils isn't the best idea. If you can, have a plate and actual silverware at the ready. (This isn't a critique of Steak-Out as styrofoam and plastic is the nature of the beast so far as delivery services).
