A hamburger is basically a sandwich prepared by stuffing ground meat patty, generally beef, between two slices of a bun cut in half. Hamburger is also famous for its seasoning. American restaurants also serve veggie burgers for those who don't relish meat. Cheeseburgers are also hot favorite in the United States.

Iama Critic Rating - Mojo's Famous Burgers and More - 4 Stars 1860 Woodruff Road, Greenville, SC Our Experience: We don't know what to make of Mojo's reviews. They are all over the place and they even contradict each other. One guy says the Whopper is better and another says Mojo's served the best burger he ever had. Another reviewer say Mojo's is expensive while another says it is a real value. The staff looks really young, so maybe inexperience or turnover was the cause of some of the poor reviews. Regardless, we decided to clear up the confusion. We gave Mojo's every opportunity to be great. We called ahead and told them that Roger, one of our Five Star Restaurant Review critics, was coming to take the "Quadruple Coronary Challenge" and we would be filming our entire experience. And Mojo's came through with awesome burgers, BIG flavor, and great service! Mojo's is a rather small, but nice, burger joint with a wide open kitchen and meager ambiance. But the smell of the place is simply awesome. The Service - 5 Stars (20% tip) Frankly I have no idea who our waiter was. Maybe JJ? And I am not even sure if Mojo's normally provides wait service or not. We had so many people interacting with us, and serving us, that it felt more like we were at a family picnic rather than a restaurant. And frankly that sort of service is simply ingenious and phenomenal. It this isn't their normal service then Mojo's ought to make it so! For everybody's effort we left a 20% $17.00 tip. We typically provide 20% or more for 5 star service on the pre-tax portion of the bill, 18% for 4, 15% for 3, 12% for 2 and 0% for 1 star service. The Food (And We Order Lots of It!): $3.29 Fried Pickles - 4 Stars Superior and perfectly fried pickles, and lots of them for a great price, what is not to love? $3.29 Fried Jalapenos - 4 Stars A fantastic and original appetizer that was perfectly fried. These are made with pickled jalapenos rather than fresh, so be prepared for the vinegar twang. $3.29 Fried Mushrooms - 3 Stars Perfectly fried and tasty, but compared to the other appetizers we had the mushrooms were rather boring and average. But there were just as good for lunch the next day. $4.89 Large Seasoned Fries - 4 stars One reviewer said these fries were greasy. Great fries are always a little greasy. These are not boring, dry, lifeless Burger King fries. These are seasoned works of art! Just eat them while they are hot 'cause they don't make good leftovers. $5.49 Fried Strawberry Shortcake - 4 Stars One of the weirdest things I have eaten in a year. This "Cake" is actually a fried burger bun? But it works and it is fantastic! Not doubt I will be frying burger bun deserts at my next family picnic. $5.79 Chubby Cheeseburger (standard without options) - 5 Stars One reviewer said the burgers at Mojo's were expensive. Really? This fabulously monstrous burger come on an unmolested bun, with two flavorful burger patties and cheese for under $6! I only know of only one or two burger shops in Greenville that can compete with this value / quality ratio! Certainly not Bacon Brothers or Yard House. $8.04 Chubby Cheeseburger w/opt Chili, Bacon and Fried Onions - 5 Stars This burger, ordered with fried onion rings, looks kinda odd, but my guest critic loved every last bite. I was going to give it four stars but he objected. $8.79 Chubby Cheeseburger w/opt Egg, Bacon and Patty - 5 Stars One of the best burgers under $10 that I have ever had! That is right, this monster of a burger is under $9 and every aspect of it was perfect, from the flavor to the meat to the presentation, what more can you ask for from a burger? Well, actually a sesame seed bun would have been better. $39.99 Quadruple Coronary - 4 Stars It is really hard to rate an entree like the Quadruple Coronary Burger as there is not really anything to compare it too. Now this burger is outrageously expensive, the presentation is awful, and the meal itself is flat out dangerous. But all this is beside this burger's point. This burger exists for the sole purpose of defying those who wish to consume it in one hour. And no one has accomplished this feat at this Mojo's in Greenville. So Roger, our Burger Guy critic, who has resigned himself to die young, took the Quadruple Coronary Challenge, but alas it was not to be, he ran out of time with only a pound to go. But fair warning, that is a tremendous amount of food, and our critic wasn't feeling too good the next morning. His blood sugar and pressure were off the charts. Oh, and by the way, the coleslaw and fries was excellent four star stuff. Total Bill: $108.09 for four adults, including tax, a generous tip and three soda fountain drinks. This is way more than you will likely spend per person. Final Thoughts: BURPPPP! Wow, that was good. Hey Roger, are you OK? You ain't looking so good!

This location is Closed! I am so sad about this!! Had great burgers!!!! Will miss them, one of the first and best places to get good food for whole family -with the whole family ordering exactly what they wanted, how they wanted it and all happy! That is a difficult thing to achieve for most when kids (picky eaters) involved.

Closed for business as of APRIL 24, 2015!! So sad... : ( So sad to see a local business close it's doors. I gave it 2 stars, hopefully get people to notice this post.. All my previous reviews I have at least three stars-4 stars..

We were looking for a good burger place while driving from Atlanta to Charlotte and Mojos looked good based on yelp. It is unassuming in a strip mall and in the burbs of Greenville (so lots of suburb traffic getting there). The fries are hand cut and good, Cajun seasoning didn't add anything the plain were better. The kids got chicken bites which were definitely made there and good. I had the pimento cheese burger and my husband a make your own. Both were fresh and cooked just right, the flavors were good. The downside is the menu. I ordered off the predefined menu and I could have ordered make my own with the exact same items and it would have been less. They are hoping you don't have time to add it all up and just order the one already defined. Shame on me for having three kids and not being able to concentrate enough to figure it out before I sat down. Also no places to throw away your items at the end. It is an order at the counter and sit place, typically the people don't bus your table. That was odd. So good food, annoying pricing gets you 3.5 stars

What an awesome place!!! And oh my the food ! Best burger and onion rings I think I've ever had. The handspun shakes were amazing and the sweet guy working the desk made the customer service better than any I have had in a long time!!! I had the black n blue..... Kids had burgers and cluckers! ALL of us were extremely satisfied!!!

My favorite burger and fries place for the price. They get the food it quick and it tastes great. You get plenty of food for the price.

The last time I visited Mojo's the food wasn't as good as previous visits. I chalked it up to just being a bad day for this eatery. I went today and it's far worse. They had no mushrooms and no coleslaw. They made a rushed order of coleslaw and it lacked flavor. The fried pickles were cooked so hard I couldn't eat them. My French fries were raw on the inside. What happened??!! This was once one of my all time favorites! I hope things return to what I knew to be the norm. I will not return.

We love this place. Great burgers and awesome Cajun fries. Lots of other options on their menu, but this is what my crew always gets. Burgers are a good size and the fries are cooked perfectly with a ton of seasoning. Yum!
(5)Shaun G.
Expected the burger to be impressive. It wasn't. Despite being an ok burger it had many shortcomings. Don't expect to get your burger cooked to a certain temp. It was pressed extremely thin and overlooked. Buns were cheap. They don't skimp out on fries though. But I'm not looking for a place to get a ton of fries, just a basic burger done right. Meh, won't return. You're better off ordering at Burger King.

Second time here and don't know why I even came back. Burgers are totally bland, absolutely no seasoning. Fries are greasy and also not seasoned well. Last and final time coming here. Bleh!

Best burger I've had in forever! Juicy, fat and delicious. The fried pickles were battered to perfection, the wings crispy and meaty and the fries perfectly seasoned. The menu is full of fun and interesting choices and is very reasonably priced. The staff is excellent, offers helpful recommendations and caters to special requests. I will eat here every time I am in Greenville

Got off the interstate and ate here because of Yelp reviews. Burgers were pretty good, but not out of this world. The Black and Blue burger needed more spice as it didn't have much Cajun flavor. We had the half and half order of fries and onion rings. This was like getting a full order of each. A huge portion for the price. Overall a decent meal, but not one we would drive that far from the interstate for again.

Tried it one time and Won't be back. The salad was made of lettuce in long stringy strips. It was weird and difficult to eat. It was bland and didn't taste like normal salads. Hamburger was super greasy and was bland. Very unimpressed which is sad. By the super fun appearance of the restaurant I had expected more. Also, I found that the website menu is very outdated compared to the menu in the restaurant. The food is pretty expensive too. Burger, side, and salad was over $10.

My husband and I visited Mojo's in our never ending effort to find the BEST BURGER. For me, this wasn't it. The burger itself had good flavor but it was rather small and the bun just didn't do the burger justice. The bun has to work with the burger and in this case it did not, it tasted like it was a few days old and stale. We ordered the Cajun fries and they were as spicy as advertised. The staff was friendly and the place itself was very clean.

Unbelievably good burgers! I like Five Guys....this is better. The toppings e.g the Bacon is thick cut smoked, generous with my favorite BlueCheese crumbles! Amazing! I'm in burger afterglow right now.

THE BEST MOJO's location in Greenville SC! The employees are super friendly and the food is of course always good! Free peanuts :)

Now this is what burgers are supposed to taste like!! Perfect 80/20 beef with great toppings, and a pretty cool atmosphere. Whenever I feel like negating a workout. I order the ranch style fries...do I regret it? never!!!!

Really great burgers at this place. If you get fries, only get the regular. They give you a TON of fries.

My husband decided to take on the double coronary. The 3 lb or so burger alone made my 120 lb husband tap out. He said that the chili was really thick and I could see that it was hot and steaming when it came to the table. As for my and my daughter's food, it came out cold. Apparently they cooked ours first and then let it sit on the bar long enough to let the onion rings and fries get soggy instead of actually bringing it to us. I can understand that the double coronary takes time to cook all of the components, but at least have the decency to grant us all hot food. This review is for my husband. He loves it and I'm just not a fan. My big Kahuna burger was not only cold but salty from the off brand teriyaki sauce that they put on the top bun. I actually peeled the bun off of it and eventually peeled off the pickles that I asked them to add. They were gross and tasted off. The pineapple was obviously from a tin and tasted terrible. I will say this, the sauce that I got to dip the onion rings in was really good even though it tastes like it's ketchup and mayo mixed together. The tea wasn't bad and overall the experience was okay except for the grouchy lady at the cash register. At 11AM, I'm not expecting anyone to be cheerful but hey...You have a job, you're alive and you could potentially make people happy with a burger if it was actually hot and the ingredients were fresh. Just saying.

My wife and I go here at least once a week since we discovered it a few months ago. Such a great variety and the staff are my kind of people. Food is fresh and delicious. I have yet to find something I don't like. Portions are large, a regular fry can easily be split between 3-4 people. Definitely sets the standard for a burger place.
(5)Brian C.
Good burger - hand formed on toasted bun. Very good fries and onion rings. A little pricey: Two burgers with an order of fries and an order of onion rings, and two drinks, was over $20. Order at the counter from the sullen teenagers, and the cook brings the completed order out. For these prices, I would expect a server.

Tried this place based on a Groupon that I found online. Delicious burger. My wife and I had the Carolina Burger with Chili, Slaw, and Onion. Excellent! We ordered a single basket of fries for the table (serving 3 people) and still had some left over. Very generous. I'll definitely be back. Great meal!

Tried the Big Cheese burger. It was delicious and, I thought, worth the price. Large portion of fries but I found them unimpressive. They were very soggy/limp. Some people like them that way, though. I prefer mine much crispier. Friendly waitress too. I will be back to try more burgers but I will get a different side next time.
(4)Brett S.
It was a good burger and toppings, solid bun. Loved that the fries still has skin but seemed a little empty. Overall, it was good and I'll probably be back.

We just moved to Greenville, but I'm pretty sure this is going to be my go to place for a burger! Service was friendly, and the atmosphere was what I would call industrial man cave. I ordered the Loaded Hickory Bacon, and for an extra dose of self loathing I went with the chili cheese bacon fries. The burger on it's own was well prepared, and seemed to be pretty decent quality meat. The bacon on top was the real star though. It was cooked to a perfect level of crunch for a burger, and there was lots of it. The chili cheese bacon fries were pretty decent if that's your bag. I thought the chili had a great flavor, and once again the bacon.... If you're feeling suicidal they also offer the quadruple coronary challenge. I noticed so far no one had actually made the wall of fame yet, and a small number of people had made the attempt so far. I briefly contemplated it, but after feeling stuffed with a single burger and small order of chili fries, I'm pretty sure it would kill me. All in all I can't wait to hit this place up again some time and see what else they offer.

Took the family here the other day since kids eat free on Mondays. The portions on the kids meals were generous. We had 4 adults who each had a burger and we also ordered large baskets of fries and onion rings for the table. We had plenty of fries and rings left. Overall the fries and onion rings were pretty good but my burger could have been better. I ordered the El Diablo (blackened with jalepenos) burger and it seemed small for the price and the taste was ok - not bad but not memorable. The servers were friendly and helpful. They also supply you with free peanuts while you wait. So interesting diner atmosphere, friendly staff, generous portions and at least for me -- only ok food, not bad but not great.

This is the BEST burger in the Upstate. Period. Red Robin, Culver's, Roe's...none of them hold a candle to MoJo's.
