Great food. I had the Mediterranean plate for lunch with hummus, falafels, and bobaganoush. Can't wait to get back

Awful service. Waited over an hour and a half for an order. Multiple lies leading up to finally just canceling. Manager was rude. Wish I could've reviewed the food but with that kind of service it's impossible.

Worst customer service! Food arrives cold with very limited condiments. Bad business ethics and very rude over the phone. No one seemed to know who manager/owner was and when he/she would be available. I will never spend another dime there and encourage my friends to not go there!

Great pizza and Calzones. Nice little famliy owned restaurant that has late hours and delivers. If you're ordering pizza delivery, order from these guys. Support local business, not the chains. Very good food.

VEry impresses with this little place - it is very clean and welcoming - has wi-fi and a very extensive menu - Italian - Greek - Burger (yum 1/2pound) - american and ven chinese food and some breakfast items. You cannot go wrong here, the food is fresh and not typical. I have a long list of items I will be trying in the future and one them is the hummus plate! The hours are EXTENDED they are open till 5am on friday and saturday and 3 am m-thur. Did I mention? they deliver as well!

I believe the other review on this restaurant is on a restaurant that is no longer in business. I confirmed this with the waitress. This cafe is not a 5-star restaurant as the previous reviewer alluded to, but rather, they serve a mix of American, Italian and Greek food. I got the lunch veggie plate with 3 items ($7 for lunch). The sautéed mix veggies were fresh; the homemade Mac and cheese was delicious; but the sweet potatoes tasted like they came from a can and drowned in brown sugar. The dinner roll and beverage were a nice surprise for a lunchtime price. He interior was nice as well but the clientele was a bit mixed and a little noisy. Was having trouble trying to figure out their demographic. Overall, not too bad and I may try again for dinner.

I had the spanakopita stuffed grape leaves for lunch. Both were very tasty and both were home made. I'll certainly go back for more.

As a business traveler hailing from San Francisco, I was hunting around for interesting restaurants. At the beginning of my search, I wasn't optimistic at all. As a disclaimer, I asked a bunch of my coworkers, many who lived and worked in Greenville, for recommendations above the casual level, and many hemmed and hawwed and couldn't think of places aside from Devereaux and The Peppermill. I haven't gone to those two places yet, but a brief scan of their menus made me want more. So on some foodie message boards, 33 Liberty received many accolades. So that settled everything, and I made a reservation. First impressions. Well I wish there were more restaurants in the SF Bay Area at this price point with "interesting" but comforting food (Range in SF pops in to mind for those who will or have been chowing in SF). Parking was a breeze. Let me tell you, paying for valet, or hunting around for ten minutes in SF is a pain. I went with five courses from the menu. First I opted for the "Summer Cucumber Sandwich with Roasted Peppers, Walnut Bread & Herb Cream Cheese." Very nice. I was sorely tempted by the charcuterie plate but a virtual coin flip at the end led me to the sandwich. Soft, moist bread, flavorful peppers left me hungry for more. Second was the "Pan Seared Scallops with Thyme Gnocchi & Banyuls Vinegar". This was a winner, and from what I overheard from the kitchen, the scallops was a popular dish tonight. The exterior of the scallops were nicely browned and slightly crispy, with a nice juicy interior. It wasn't oversauced, as often happens, and the scallops shined. The thyme gnocchi was a pleasant surprise and I would order the thyme gnocchi by itself in a heartbeat without the accompanying scallops. Third was the "Crispy Fried Carolina Quails over Andouille Sausage & red pepper Jambalaya". Here again I was conflicted between the quail and the fresh grouper dish on the menu. Eventually the quail won out because it would (and it did) pair with the pinot noir I was having. Hot, crispy exterior and flavorful, juicy interior and just seasoned the right amount. The andouille sausage and jambalaya were great. A winning dish with a twist of Southern cooking; this dish would do well in any big city (LA, SF, Chicago) restaurant. yum. Fourth was the cheese plate, and the fig jam and candied walnuts paired wonderfully with the creamy and powerful cheeses. The acidity of the figs with the cheeses, a great match. Last was the "Mini Carrot Cake with Joe's Twix Bar". This paired (yet again) wonderfully with a tokaji dessert wine. I would have been perfectly happy with the carrot cake by itself, but the twix bar gave it a third dimension. 33 Liberty rocks, and deserves all the accolades it receives. Fellow visitors, avoid the typical hotel food steak/salmon/chicken plates. Avoid the chains like the Outback. Avoid fast food. 33 Liberty is the real deal

Stopped to try it before going to the thrift store. Got the chicken philly sandwich. One of the most flavorful sandwiches I've had in a while. Very reasonably priced lunch special included a side and a drink.

A Late Night joint to have some good food! The interiors are decent. The food served is fresh and the prices are reasonable. The Mediterranean plate with hummus, falafels, and baba ganoush is good. Liked the falafels in particular.

I will never, ever get delivery from Liberty again. Sure, I'll go in and eat. The prices aren't bad and the food is good... Plus, there's few places outside of fast food in Greenville that someone who works until after 10pm can eat. But our delivery driver got himself a nice $9 tip because he didn't bother to have any cash on him other than $3. It was after midnight- it's not like I could be the one running out somewhere to get some change for my delivery driver. I ordered delivery because I couldn't go out. I crafted an order thinking- the driver should at least have a $5 on him for me to get back in change. It'll be a slightly larger tip than intended, but that's fine. It's late. Nope, instead he had $3 and even seemed hesitant to give me that. Either he's an idiot or purposefully swindling his customers.

My friends and I are night owls and always complain about not having any other decisions than Waffle House, Ihop, Denny's, or Steak & Shake for late night grub... UNTILL NOW! First time in was at 3:45am and the hidden gem was easily found.. Quiet atmosphere was great and the food... The food is so good. Started off with an order of felafel and warm doughy pita that tasted much better than other felafel I have had around the Greenville area, then came the chicken philly cheesesteak which was packed full of flavor, juicy chicken breast, onions and peppers, and cheese all wrapped into a soft but crispy sub roll... I plan to be back for more sometime in the near future, if you are in the mood for good food in the middle of the night... Give this place a shot.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Greek Cuisine

Greek food is a fine melody of the finest pressed olive oil, fresh fermented bread, colorful vegetables, juicy meat, sea food all cooked in spices and fresh rosemary. The people from Greek were great scholars who aimed to excel in everything they do. The results are quite visible in their food as they are the inventors of olive oil which is beneficial to health. Greeks also made different type of wines from the best quality of grapes fermented in controlled environment.

Today, you can find hundreds of restaurants offering authentic Greek food or popularly termed as Mediterranean cuisine in New York city alone. People wait in line to taste the exotic Greek dishes like saganaki, taramasalata, souvlaki, loukoumades, spanakopita, moussaka, and many more. One thing which most people like about these authentic Greek dishes is abundant use of lemon juice, olive oil, fresh rosemary and sea salt. A smart mix of few ingredients can virtually take you on the pebble streets of beautiful city of Greece.

For those who don't have time to enjoy fine dining should try tasting the famous souvlaki with pita which is type of meat dish, also a trademark Greek fast food. For those who are vegetarian, or vegan can try different versions of Greek Salad. So, if you wish to enjoy a hearty yet healthy meal that tastes divine then try dining at the best Greek restaurant in your city. Greek cuisine not only tastes good but also help maintain your body in a natural way through healthy diet.
