Overall a good place to grab a Pizza. Not your traditional Pizza joint but the Pizzas are good. The service can get better though.

Flat out the best pizza in Greenville. Never had a bad meal there, no matter what the order might be. Sandwiches are excellent, pasta is good. Gluten free selections. The staff are very nice. Couldn't ask for anything more when you're looking for a casual, inexpensive night out.

We arrived at this restaurant 40 minutes before close but after we were seated we were informed that the kitchen was closed because they were having a slow night. The only thing available was the pizza oven. This was, of course, a huge disappointment but we decided to stay (we are from out of state and are unfamiliar with the area and it was getting late) and I am glad we did. We ordered calzones and they were large, delicious and very filling. The marinara sauce was very tasty, and served hot, as it should be. Our waiter was very friendly and courteous, offered suggestions, and kept an eye on our drinks. The restaurant is obviously old, and the decor is dated, but the staff was friendly, food was good, and the bathrooms were very clean, so that didn't matter. Only complaint was that we weren't able to order from the full menu, and one of the girls working there was wearing runner's shorts and flip flops and that struck me as odd.

I went in with high hopes and left severely disappointed. I was studiously ignored after self seating until a nearby diner grabbed the attention of the wait staff. I ordered the combo plate with high hopes. The lettuce of the salad was lukewarm. My plate finally arrived after a long wait. The moussaka looked as if someone had flattened it and was flavorless. As for the spanakopita, I have tasted better from the frozen food section of Publix. The somewhat mystery meat turned out to be pork on top of the pita and for some strange reason a 3/4 inch high raw ring of green pepper was served on the "souvlaki." I finally had to speak up to grab the attention of someone to get the check. They may have good pizza according to reviews, but don't go there looking for Greek food.

Iama Critic Rating - Boston Pizzeria - 2 Stars 1262 Woodruff Road, Greenville, SC Overall: If you want the best gyro in the Upstate, this ain't it! Voted Best Italian in 2012 by Greenville News readers, but I and the my guests have no idea WHY? The best item we had all night was three stars and that was served in the first 5 minutes. $3.95 Garlic Cheese Bread - 3 Stars The bread and cheese were perfectly toasted and the marinara was very nice, but the dish really needed just a little spice. No doubt some will like it just the way it is, but that would be a little too boring for our palates. $8.00 Gyro sandwich - 1 Star $10.75 Gyro Platter - 1 Star This sandwich and the platter were abysmal, and incorporated everything that is awful about most gyro's you can find in the Upstate of South Carolina. First, this is not strips of gyro meat made on site and sliced off a vertical rotisserie, it is not even Kronos. And I received only 5 tiny chunks of overly cooked, crusty meat. And what the heck is cutting the pita all to pieces about? Did we order a salad? Why the monstrous veggies on the platter? And the sandwich is buried in lettuce! At least the cucumber sauce was decent. And we are not even gonna to discuss the boring, ordinary fries. What an epic fail! Does anyone in South Carolina even know how to make a GYRO? Google Gyro Express in Villa Park, Illinois, now that is a gyro! Side Item - Side Salad - 1 Stars Disgraceful side salad. Really, if this is the best a restaurant can make for a side salad, they should not even bother to offer one. We like feta cheese, but it takes more than this to call a salad a Greek or even a tossed salad. $10.75 Italian Sausage Parmesan Dinner - 3 Stars Which I ordered with spaghetti and a side salad. This dish was far better than their Gyro Platter disaster. But their bland spaghetti sauce tasted too much like their marinara and the Italian sausage was ground bits, not whole sausages. At $10.75 this dish was just average.

Cozy and friendly the atmosphere, but that's about it. The food is not impressive neither authentic italian, and although the prices are fair I would not repeat or suggest the experience to a good friend.

Excellent Greek food- would highly recommend. Just don't expect a fine dining experience... it's definitely a family place.

excellent pizza! my pizza-loving fiancé requires good pizza often so we're always on the lookout for good places. the mediterranean pizza is unbelievable- lamb, feta, tomatoes- not your traditional pizza topping, but it's one of our favs in Greenville!
