Two trips here now. I would not come back. I've been here during a busy lunch and now for a late lunch. Both times the seasoning was just not quite right and the food felt like a high school cafeteria. First off and in their favor, let me say they are a friendly lot. They have a down the line service like Chipotle and are eager to explain it to newcomers. I wish the food kept up with the service. The couscous was dried out and the steak during my first visit was dry and tough. The falafel here looks like it came prepackaged in balls. It has no real texture. There are great options for Mediterranean cuisine in the area. I'd skip this one.

The dining room was empty, and service was very slow. It may have been the fact that three of us ordered the new paninis now on the menu and they still haven't perfected the process of creating and grilling them. The food for the guests that came in after us took even longer, as one person had finished her meal before the other person received hers. I hope it was comped. The food is still good, but they definitely need a good manager and competent employees to straighten out the timing issues. Also, they need to thin out the tomato bisque. It is still like tomato stew.

Pita chips and hummus and falafel is the great -- although it my be a bit too garlicky. The amount of chips and hummus was plenty for two people! especially for a light lunch or snack We had two orders and took most of it home The tazaki sauce was delicious

I love ethnic sauces, and this place has them... The menu is setup like a Mediterranean "Chipotle" which makes it quite easy to order. They keep fairly fresh ingredients, with a variety of sides to accompany your entree. The flavor profiles are rich and savory for the most part with a few exceptions for lighter fair. I especially love the sauce bar with the ethnic sauces. Try them all! The harissa is especially delicious and pairs with most everything. Average price point for quality/quantity. The staff was very slow but has improved greatly since they first opened, making it much smoother process to order and get food. Overall a decent Middle Eastern / Mediterranean option for lunch. Cheers, Cary

Great fast fresh food options especially for Woodruff Rd. Pita is so yummy....fried and traditional. Love the 80s music.

High quality food you won't feel guilty eating. The pita chips that came with it were warm and absolutely delicious.

Great Place. At first I was worried, not really sure what to expect. I also was a little confused about the concept. But I started with a plate so I could taste all things individually. It comes with a protein 3 sides a falafel and hummus. The meal was fresh all the way to the fresh brewed raspberry ice tea. I will be coming back. My only complaint was the chicken was a little cold.

Stopped here on my way to Charlotte- this place has such potential. It was advertised to me as a "Mediterranean Chipotle" which basically includes my two favorite types of food. most of what I tried just didn't taste right... The gyro meat was particularly weird. They offer a different type of beef for maybe $1 more that I wish I had given a try. The falafel and spicy feta were probably my favorite parts, and some of the sauces were pretty good. They have a sauce bar, so you can sample all they offer. If a place like this opened where I live and actually served quality Mediterranean food I would 1) be willing to pay much more than they are charging and 2) go there probably way too often. Overall, I think this is SUCH a great idea, I love how they offer selections from each Mediterranean country. Unfortunately, it's just not up to par yet. I truly hope they modify their food and places like this start gaining popularity!

Finally stopped into this place while running errands. It isn't too bad but nothing fancy. A build your own pita style place. The gyro is beef...so it is more like seasoned beef than gyro which is typically lamb. The concept is neat. Pick a protein and three items to go into your pita. You really need a fourth but whatever. Then you get fried pita chip. Their taziki is very yogurt-y... I may come back, but I won't be looking for it.

Restaurant looks really nice and clean. I was very disappointed with my food. The gyro meat was old and dry, so they replaced my meal with chicken. The chicken was not all white meat, it had a lot of fat and nerves. Then, I found a long, dark, curly hair in the middle of my gyro. Disgusting. They brought me a new one, but by that time, I had completely lost my appetite. Not coming back. Big disappointment because I love Greek, Lebanese and Tunisian cuisine.

We were not impressed. The food was cold and everything had a hint of cucumber. I usually finish my plate or at least take it home for my husband but this time I tossed out about 3/4 of it. We will not be going again. One and done.

Very good place. Went in for the first time. I can say the the food was good and seems very fresh. Excellent choices. The sauce bar is great. Very good hummis. Give it a try

Mediterranean version of chipotle which is one of our fave places to eat. Delicious and flavorful!

Friendly, clean, very nice location. However: Their gyro is a pita 'steak' wrap, the tatziki sauce is runny, and the meat seemed over seasoned. When I took it back and asked for actual gyro meat, they tried to convince me gyros were made with beef. Not bad if you like "fast" Mediterranean food, take it for what it is.

I really enjoy this place for a quick bite to eat. It's great that the vegan options are so clearly marked on the menu. I always get a falafel sandwich and pita chips with hummus. Their pita chips and hummus are so good that we sometimes go in for a to-go order of just those! Also the staff is ALWAYS friendly :) I like introducing friends to this place. We've been many times and will go many more.

The worst excuse for "Mediterranean" food I've ever experienced. Bland, tasteless, tough and overpriced. I don't understand where these positive reviews are coming from. Spare yourself some change and a massive stomachache and go to Pita House on Pleasantburg Dr. For a decent falafel and real gyro meat (not an overcooked, bad cut of beef that is seasoned poorly). Just awful. Best part of the meal was throwing it away.

Just went for lunch with my two girls, ages 3 & 4. We really liked the food, but as others have said we were disappointed in the kid's menu. I ended up getting them a Lebanese plate for them to share. They loved the sides most of all. They got hummus, baba ganoush, olives, and the feta salad. Maybe a kid's option of 3 sides and pita bread? Other than the kid's menu we really enjoyed the food and experience. Wish they would open another location more west...

........................................................................................... Went to Babaziki again for lunch today. Actually my ten year old daughter insisted that we go! She ordered the dinner and chose their chicken, couscous, feta cucumber and tomato salad, carrot salad and warm grilled vegetables. The dinner also comes with hummus and warm pita bread. She gobbled it down. She weighs like 53 pounds and inhaled her plate of food. That should tell you how good and fresh Babaziki is. I ordered the Mediterranean salad again with warm pita bread. Delicious and fresh. We also purchased Baklava, so yummy. The store is always so clean and their workers are the best, so friendly and cheerful. The only thing I wished they would work on is their kid menu. You can't get anything on it. Like if you ordered the chicken cheese pizza, no veggies. What is the point of going to a place like this if you cant put anything on it without paying lots extra? Let the kids have a couple of toppings of veggies. My daughter loves spinach, tomatoes, olives. etc. You already charge five bucks and the pizza is child size so you are not expending a lot of toppings. Or have a veggie pizza on the menu. I would give you five stars if you made the kid's menu more interesting. Still, we will be back. I noticed a Pick Two-soup/half salad/half sandwich on the menu and I think I should branch out besides always ordering the Mediterranean salad, as good as it is. :) Oh and their teas are really good too and I love the sauce bar!

Definitely a good dining experience ! Menu is a bit difficult to understand but associates are very friendly and helpful so you can work through the issue, and get what you like without too much trouble ! The food is super fresh and very tasty ! The hummis is delicious and the Pita bread is about the best and freshest I've eaten ...ever ! It is designed around the Chipotle, serving style so it will get easier to navigate the ingredients as you gain experience and try the different options. I had a Gyro Pita with Feta/Tomatoe/Cuke salad and Greek olives and Tziki sauce and it was really good and very filling for a full size male ! No regrets here ! Will go back for certain !

The food was not as fresh as we would have liked. Would return for a to-go order of the hummus and pita chips which were the highlight of lunch.

Great plates! My husband and I love the food here. Very reasonably priced. On occasion they have gotten our take out order wrong but mostly good experience here.

We loved how the restaurant was set up, it reminded us of Moe's or Which Wich except Mediterranean food. Food was good, I had the French pita and my husband had the Greek. Food tasted fresh and the employees were very nice. We also had an order of pita chips and hummus which was very tasty. The pita chips were hot and fresh. The only thing I disliked was how runny the sauce was, it was messy to eat. Easy way to solve this though is to just get a plate or bowl instead of the wrap. We will be back for sure!

  • Kitty W.

Gyro had mushy tomatoes, watered down tzatziki sauce and the meat (?) was blah! The lamb stew was beef, not lamb and had been overcooked to the point of being pasty. This lunch cost about $17.00. Do yourself a favor and try somewhere else.

  • Laura J.

Do not waste your time here if you're looking for actual Mediterranean food... I had the gyro pita/wrap and was very disappointed with what I got ... not lamb meat - do not call it a gyro if the meat is simply cubed steak bites. Falafel was so-so, but the "hummus" tasted like ground peanuts - hummus is chick peas, sesame seeds, and olive oil!!! A little "off." Great concept here with the "Chipotle style" serving line and you get to choose your add-ons and sides, but overall, a huge disappointment if you're looking for Meditteranean (Greek gyro?) cuisine. Should have driven the extra couple exits to Pita House.

Really good. Really fresh . Really affordable. Excellent alternative for a wonderful lunch. Light, healthy and fresh. Did I mention that everything is really tasty as well.... Exceptional fast and friendly service to top it all off. This is a keeper in my dining arsenal.

Best freshest tastiest healthy fast food in town. You must check it out. If you are in a Diet looking for a great healthy place to eat this is it. Even better they only serve hormone /antibiotic free meat! We love this place!

  • D A.

Why did I come here? Oh that's right. It looks Iike a Greek restaurant. The gyro beef is not lamb. The tzatziki sauce is yogurt with no spice. Totally disappointed.

First time there last week and not disappointed. Great Mediterranean food. I had the Lebanese plate. Lots of flavor. Management was very attentive and helpful. Will definitely be back.

Boom! Best gyro in Greenville. It is called a Greek Pita - staff was all smiles and I will be back to see them very soon. Thanks Baba!

This is the Moe's of Mediterranean but better!. You walk in, pick what you want, and get your choice of toppings. I have been there too many times to count, and the food is always fresh and delicious. The restaurant has always been clean and the decor is bright and welcoming. I always leave full and satisfied and believe the healthy fresh food for the price is a great value. The most impressive thing about Babaziki is the service. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and they go above and beyond to make sure my experience is pleasant. I love Babaziki. They are my go-to lunch place. It is so nice having a quick, healthy option available!

Got the falafel plate which includes three side items and pita. Very tasty and all the ingredients were fresh. It's also nice that they have several sauces to go with whatever you order. I'll definitely be coming back to try other items.

Love this place. Nice bright design, good prices, quick service.... and love the food. I got the falafel pita and my husband got some sort of spicy lamb stew. We both really enjoyed our meal. Plus, they serve wine and beer!

  • Andrea B.

This was a decent place. We like that it is fast. It was exactly like a Chipotle but with mediterranean food. The food was decent, not great but not horrible. We would go back if in the area for a fresh stop.

  • Michael L.

Just plain foul. It's claim is "Babaziki is real Mediterranean." Nothing could be further from the truth. The ingredients are not fresh, the taste is repulsive. They should be sued for false advertising.

First visit, at 6 dinner hour. Not so busy on a Wed night. First impression, clean and new, very nice decor. Great menu. Only disappointment, food is made somewhere (?) and served from deli tubs like the burrito places. Couscous was crunchy from being dried out. Felafals were bland and more like a hushpuppy. They offer gyro beef as an option, rather than lamb. Not like the real gyro cafes. Domestic beer, all lite beers, and only other option was one- stella. People behind the counter seemed unhappy and tired, maybe underpaid. Greenville tries, it just falls short of really doing food like a big city. For $27 for two, i would like table service, etc. Rather than trays and plastic.

Amazing lunch! Light, healthy and soooo much flavor! I had the plate, which came with hummus, pita and rice. The hummus is housemade and you can tell! The pita bread was warm and soft but strong enough to hold filling without breaking. I chose grilled steak (hormone/antibiotic free!) for my plate and it was perfect but I can't wait to try the gyro next time. My sides were carrot salad, baba ganoush and tabouleh. And I love their condiment bar - tzatziki, tahini, harissa and more! They had a good selection of beer and wine on the menu. I had to go back to work or I would have tried that too! Over all everything was really fresh, the employees were helpful and kind and it was just a great experience! I highly recommend it!

low quality, old food that is horribly prepared. These people should be ashamed of themselves. McDonalds has fresher food. I figured I would give this place a try last friday, what a mistake. I ordered a salad, with grilled chicken, hummus, babaganoush, and tabouli, awful. First off the romaine lettuce was the old leftover center of the lettuce that normally is thrown out. The older probably manager behind the counter told me ,that it was heart of romaine that they buy. No it was´nt, it was the unusable part of the lettuce, and it was obviously several days old, so i got the mixed greens instead. They were ok. The chicken was dark meat prepared on the grill, cut into pieces, then put in a serving put with water so it would´nt dry out. It tasted old and watery, simply disgusting. The hummus was just chickpeas which tasted very old, and did´nt have any garlic or tahini in the preparation, This is not hummus. Thankfully they only gave me a melon ball size (very small serving). The Babaganoush was just mushy eggplant with no tahini, no olive oil, no salt, nothing. It was awful. Thankfully once again it was a small melon ball sized serving. The tabouli which had plenty of parsley but it still had the stems attached. They did´nt even remove the stems from the parsley. Inexcusable! Don´t be fooled by the good reviews they had there friends write because, it is pure crap. All in all the food tasted like it was prepared from week old ingredients, and it was terribly prepared. It is obvious these owners and managers of this restaurant know nothing about food. They should be embarrassed by how awful there food is. i could´nt even eat it. They obviously know they are buying substandard left over ingredients from there food supplier, and serving very small servings, so they know they are trying to cheat the customer. Hopefully they will be out of business soon.

Food is not bad, menu is small but difficult, staff is surprisingly attentive for the type of restaurant (teenagers are usually not attentive). As previously suggested, it would be in your best interest to study the menu before coming here

Not worth it. First time here. I tired it because it reminded me of Roti. However the quality of the food is not there. My gyro beef was dried out, ( didn't even seem fresh and it probably was sitting in meat bowl for some time) the sides are just so so. I would not waste my money here. Extremely disappointed in quality of food. Go somewhere else

I frequently visit Babaziki for lunch because it is a quick, delicious, lighter fare option. I've probably tried everything they offer so far and it is all tasty. You get a lot of food for the money and don't feel bad after eating it. All options are made fresh daily. Their gyro plate is a fantastic go-to option. Their hummus and sauces make a great side. Go check it out if you need a quick and filling lunch.

This place is delicious! I have tried the salad and the plate and both have left me completely satisfied. This is a one of a kind restaurant, but it doesn't appear that way at all on the inside. The interior is well designed with a modern Mediterranean style, and it is always spotlessly clean. I am living in a hotel close by right now (relocating) and I've been to babaziki about 4 times a week since arriving in greenville. I love that there is a sauce bar that offers toppings from all over the Mediterranean (red and green s'hug from Lebanon, tzaziki from Greece, tahini, etc) and you can have as much as you'd like! The staff is very polite and helpful. The only downside to me is that you can only pick 3 of the fresh toppings/sides to go with your meal. I usually pick the cucumber salad, kalamata olives, and red cabbage. I wish you could choose more than 3 because they are all so good! I can't complain because I can't stop going back for more :)

Had lunch at Babaziki's today and was very pleased! I had the chicken pita sandwich with grilled vegetables, tabouleh, and tzatziki sauce. Although it isn't advertised, apparently all sandwiches come with a side of hummus and pita. The chicken had excellent flavor and I loved the self-serve sauce bar which allows you to try out several of their other sauce options. I didn't love the texture of the hummus, it was a bit grainy for my liking but the tabouleh was very refreshing and had great flavor. I feel it would be helpful if the menu explained a bit more about what comes standard on their plates and sandwiches before you begin creating. The atmosphere was clean and bright and the staff was very friendly. I enjoyed my meal and look forward to coming back!

It was refreshing to eat somewhere and feel good about what I ate while still enjoying the food. I would recommend this place. It was a nice change of pace and my wife and I will definitely be back.
