It's a truck stop in the middle of nowhere, let that set the scene for you. There is a pool hall upstairs and clean showers and they provide towels. There is a full service mechanic from the looks of it. Pretty much has it all, wrapped up in it's unique rural charm.

Yuck stay away!!! Dirty and the food was awful! Please be sure to check the dhec rating on the door. Have seen it as low as a C before.

I stopped at the 44 truck stop to try their fried chicken that people told me it was the best. I ordered a 4 piece all white along with 3 other meals after about 45 minutes no food? And there was only one other table that had people. Food started to come out but no chicken.the waitress told me they were going to take my chicken from the buffet but they did not have 4 pcs and the didn't want to cook more. I refused the old buffet chicken and took another 35 minutes to get it. So if you want good fresh fried chicken find another place to eat. Waitress was great but the so called cook and/or manager was a failure in my eyes and my families.

oh my, although the restuarant was good and an excellent salad bar,, man was I glad to get away from their truck service guy's.. they are good with truck tires, but man, were they lacking in mechanical skill's.. they were not scared to tackle a problem, but the problem got bigger with their endevorse's...
