On a very short week, we had a rare "couples night out" and ventured around the block to the Causeway for karaoke night. It had all the trappings of a great neighborhood "joint," with pool tables, TVs showing any number of random sporting events and a good looking bar with a nice team of servers and bartenders. While we were just in for the week, we felt welcomed and had a great evening of singing and a few "vacation drinks."

Hands down best pizza around. Are there multiple times. Never disappointed. Stromboli excellent. Blackened shrimp, chicken parm sandwich, fried ravioli are a few of the other items we ate. All were very tasty. Will be going back next time in the area.

So... ladies and gentlemen, it is a bar. If you want to go to this place for the food...then understand, it is a bar. I find it so amusingly annoying that people don't comprehend what restaurants are doing. Here's the deal, if you're looking for "delicious" seafood, then go to a seafood place...there are plenty in Murrell's Inlet, et cetera.... if you're looking for a true pizza place, then go find a true seafood place. As you see, I'm an out-of-towner...I came for the bar, the bar food and yes...a little karaoke. It was solid in all of those aspects.

Decent location, great venue for karaoke and friendly service. Drinks are a bit pricey though.

Slow service. One girl trying to run the bar and tables. Food was ok. One in our party got a calzone and said it was great Fries have a strange after taste They messed up our order and one member of our party didn't receive their food until everyone else was done eating. Not kid friendly as people are smoking all over. The cigarette smell inside is pungent.

I've been coming here for years now. Competitive drink prices, super clean facility, easy access for anyone near Garden City/Murrells, and I love the frequent karaoke, superb bands and decent bar seafood. But this review is about their 2nd half of the business: The Pizza joint. Is it cheap? Not really. Not terrible though. Is it the best I've ever had? No. But was it better than any chain pizza joint and most mom and pop shops in the area?! Surprisingly yes! Great pizza, doubly so for being a place in the south. Crust was parm dusted, meat and cheese was very good quality, and the sauce, while a bit sweet, was mild enough to compliment the quality of the rest. I was thrilled, but my expectations were low. I, like you, said : "let us consult yelp and see what the popular vote is!" If you're considering a pizza dinner, do this. Worth it. Great work guys. Also, the bar rocks, the drinks are great and the nightlife is fun most of the time.

If you're looking to try a local pizzeria, please do not try this place. My family has been visiting Garden City Beach for years but never tried Causeway. After a rainy day, our family of 7 decided to give it a shot. We ordered 3 pizzas and two orders of garlic knots. Calling to order should have been my red flag as I had to repeat everything I said 3 times. I was told 20-25 min. After 30 min, we pulled up to the empty restaurant but our order still wasn't ready. As the last pizza "finished" (I'll explain shortly) I asked for a few sides of ranch. The cook went to the back and returned with two small cups of what I thought was ranch. The cook removed the last small pizza from the oven, I paid and left. When we returned to the house, we quickly realized we made a mistake in ordering from this place. The last pizza that was "finishing" while I waited can be best described as soupy: cheese, toppings, and sauce were literally sliding off and the crust was still dough. Our supreme and pepperoni pizzas were laughable and barely had any toppings or cheese but was swimming in watery sauce. I won't even mention the cups of watered down marinara. Oh and the two sides of ranch were actually one side of ranch and one side of tartar sauce, clearly marked with a large "T" on the lid. The only saving grace of the meal was the garlic knots. As much as you might want to eat local, when it comes to pizza, save some money and disappointment and order some hungry howies instead.

The pizza part of the bar is really nice and clean. The waitresses were nice & quick. Pizza tasted fresh and was above average quality. Prices were not too bad either.

WOW, can't really hear anything after a bout in this establishment. AND this is after BIKE WEEK (sorry still yelling too hear across the table). The food was okay, nothing to write home about, just a-bunch of average bar seafood. Now the service was quite well and quite funny when the wait staff had to yell at you to hear your order!! If it wasn't for the Frau and the young-ling I'd walked on.

This place is great! We had a dozen oysters at the bar at they were good. The staff is friendly. We then ordered a pizza from the pizza side. The pizza was good and the pizza by the slice is huge!

This was our first night in Garden City and after a long drive, we didn't want to stray too far from where we were staying, so we walked to the "Pizzeria" part of this small local establishment. One of the first things I noticed was that there seemed to be about five people that worked here, but only one poor lady was doing the waitressing, several tables, all by herself. So, it took a good while for us to get our orders in. We were so hungry that we ordered blindly without much notice to the menu. We got ten wings and a large pizza. The wings we ordered teriyaki and when they came out they were plain wings with teriyaki dipping sauce on the side. I thought that odd...why advertise five different favors if you just get them that way? No biggie, they were tasty. The pizza we ordered was the meat feast. Toppings were generous, but they were stingy with the sauce and cheese. So much so that I'd estimate there was an inch and a half of crust before you got to the a drop of sauce or topping. The breading was good, though. My biggest irritation point was soft drink refills. I noticed after my first refill that it was clearly marked "One refill only for soft drinks". Fair enough. Had I not asked the waitress as she grabbed my glass after that if that was right, I would have got charged $2 more. Sneaky. That is one of my biggest pet peeves and one of the reasons for the rating I gave. Lastly, as I mentioned, we did not check prices as we ordered. For my family of four, a large pizza, wings, and soft drinks was over $40.00. The food was not bad, just not worth that with all of the other issues. With all of the good reviews about the raw bar part of this establishment, I expected more.

Great atmosphere and very friendly staff! .. They have the best Pizza and Stromboli in the area too. Drink prices are average to most of the area places, they have bands on weekends most of time. Great place to meet new friends and meet old ones. Its a must for anyone visiting Garden City or anyone that is local. They are also the best place to visit during the spring and fall bike weeks... very biker friendly yet very family oriented place too. ...make sure you stop by and check it out you wont be disappointed at all.

Ordered take-out pizza and salad. Both were excellent. Could have been friendlier on the telephone and during pickup.

One of the stops during Myrtle Beach Bike Week. We eat here at least three times during the festivities. It's a wide open bar/restaurant with plenty of seating. The bartenders are fantastic (they had a fresh Budweiser in front of me as I was draining the last drops from the last). Their raw oysters (even in the month of May) are fresh and tasty. The rest of their pub grub is equally good. Even during bike week, the noise level is acceptable and they do allow smoking inside.

The bartenders were great and super friendly. I never had to wait for a drink. We went for karaoke too, and the crowd and stage made for a great atmosphere.

I love this place! I went here 3 times in 2 weeks, as follows: First night, came in for dinner with a big group and the place was empty! We all came because it was a raw bar, but nobody ordered anything raw. I split a quesedilla appetizer (Delicious!!!) and had the grouper sandwich. Others had a meat-loaded pizza, a massive cheese calzone, the crabby patty sandwich and a few other things. Every one of us raved about our food and the service was fantastic. The second night we were down to 4. I wasn't too hungry so just had the quesedilla as my meal. Again, everyone was extremely satisfied with the food, although we were again the only group in the entire place. The third trip was a late night bar crawl on a monday night. We were expecting a light crowd, but instead found the place was packed! The bartenders did a great job of keeping the booze flowing so I never had to wait long for a drink. Then, out of nowhere at about 1 am a band took the stage. I have no idea who they were, but they were really, really good. They didn't play your dime-a-dozen beach band Jimmy Buffett and Steve Miller covers. Instead, we heard jazzed up Michael Jackson, Bobby Brown and Wilson Pickett. Pretty awesome!
