I Love The Food here. It's a really small place. Barely anyone knows it. It looks a tad shabby compared to other japanese restaurants but the hibachi is on point. It's not as expensive as miyamis but their food is awesome. My brother loves this place

Decent place, good amount of food, fair price. Beware, inconsistency in times from lunch to dinner. People are friendly enough, even if not very professional. Hostess chewing gum in front us (even spit some out by accident while talking with us). Not very pleasant. We went a little after 1 and were surprised to be given a dinner menu. We were thinking to leave and go down the street for lunch buffet, but they told us they would offer the special lunch price. It clearly used to be served until 2. After settling THAT, we came upon some other things that had changed since we'd been there last, but the owner tried to be accommodating. In the end, we had a lot of yummy food from a friendly chef for a decent price. 3 stars because of the unorganized and inconsistent schedule and the unprofessional hostess/waitress.

I absolutely love this place. They have the best scallops I have ever eaten!! Great food and the owners are very nice! It's a well hidden gem in Florence, SC!

This place beats Miyami big time. We are so surprised this place isn't as busy. Don't let the exterior fool you. Sometimes the best places are hard to find. They've been open for over 8 years so they know what they are doing. The flavors are great and the service was prompt and efficient. The portions are humongous! I have enough for lunch the next day. I can see why they give you a split option that cost something like $7 more which makes sense because the second person still gets soup and salad. The meat portions are great quality as well. We will come back again.

We walked in for the hibachi lunch special and they say sat us at a nnormal table. We are like no we want hibachi as in the table where they cook in front of you. So they sat us around the table where they cook in front of you then. We were the only customers in the restaurant and the waitress seemed clueless. She kept getting our drink orders wrong, mind you its just the 3 of us. The soup was peppery. The steak and chicken and shrimp were good quality and portions, but there was not enough seasoning on them at all. So bland. The white sauce tasted more like thousand island dressing than actual authentic sauce. I had to take my food home and resaute it in my own terriaki and soy before I could eat any leftovers. Food portions make it worth the 10.99 lunch price, but the taste of it and service was severely disappointing.
