The key is to get there early on the weekends. Located off I-20 and surrounded by hotels and shopping centers this locations fills up. Food is good and the servers are friendly. Biggest problem is they are forgetful Party of 5, and they did mot have a round table. Sat us at a rectangular table with one seat in the isle. Forgot to bring the soup for one member, delivered 2 meals without knives, and never filled the water glasses.

Walked in, 3 customers in the restaurant. Told us there was a wait so they could clean tables. Did not wait long enough to hear any other excuses.

This place was very good. Great service, very good Filet Mignon with crusted blue cheese. Good pricing. Would have given a 5 stars but wine was not at right temp and blue was to sharp.

First off I would like to say that this has been a common experience the past few times I have eaten here but last night was the absolute worse I have ever been treated by a restaurant. First since the managing and server practices that have recently been changed to enforce a 3 table rule to the servers is atrocious. The only thing this causes is a longer wait time for your customers. This is always an issue because it seems this particular restaurant is always severely understaffed. Wait times of an hour are common now where before they were only 20 mins to 30 mins. Now for the ugly part. I spent an hour waiting for a table when there were plenty of open tables available on the establishment. However due to understaffing and 3 table rule enforcement everyone had to wait extensive times to be sat. When we were finally sat despite the 3 table rule it took 15 minutes for our server to offer us out drinks. We ordered our drinks and food at the same time due to the delay. 45 minutes later our food arrives and it is cold and improperly cooked. My friends salad had topping s that she asked very kindly and multiple times to not be on her salad. My steak was cold and my mashed potatoes where cold. The steak was cooked medium instead of medium rare. I also received an order of steamed broccoli hat was absolutely covered in salt. Completely inedible. At this point I received a call from a friend and she asked if she could join us. We had available accommodation at our table so I told her to join us. I have my server heads up that we would have another guest joining us. She never brought silverware to the table. My other two friends had to leave so they requested their check. (as they run a restaurant the proper way and have to wake up before the sun rises to prepare for the day.)Once my friend arrived I had to flag my server down so that she could order her drink. I told her when she arrived that the service tonight was subpar and infuriating and that she should not get hopes up for a good experience. When my server finally returned with her drink she ordered lamb chops and begged for them to be cooked well done. I also placed an order for an alcoholic beverage. 40 minutes pass and her food is brought to the table. Her lamb chops are cooked medium rare and she loses her appetite. My alcoholic beverage has yet to make it to the table despite no one at the bar and most customers have already left. It is 10:30. She brings my beverage and i immediately drink it as fast as possible and request the check so that we may leave ASAP. I am unsure if I will be returning to this restaurant in Florence SC. Also I did speak to the manager that was on duty that evening while we were waiting to be seated, along with a ton of other people. His excuse for the poor service, long wait times and empty booths was that and I quote "if I seat you then the servers will not be a ke to accommodate you properly to ensure a quality experience". I asked him upfront if they were short staffed and that this is why there were so many empty booths. He indicated otherwise. His excuse is completely paltry as we still had a poor experience due to terrible kitchen and waitstaff service. I know many of the waitresses here and I have never been treated this way. They are also not happy with the current service that is being provided at this establishment. Writing this review has reminded me of my poor treatment and confided my confidence that I will not receive proper treatment at this establishment as I use to. It is a very sad thing that I will have to drive to Columbia SC to find a quality steakhouse to eat a good steak.

I am rarely pleased with the service. Very slow at times. Food is always up to Longhorn standards but for the price it doesn't compare to Outback.

I took my wife and mother in on Sunday afternoon around noon. We arrived just before it got quite busy. Our waitress was new and helpful. She quickly had our drinks and basket of warm sliced bread with butter on the table. The menu was fairly diverse. I ordered a whole rack of baby back ribs, while the girls ordered the pork chops. Before long we were offered a fresh loaf of this delicious bread, which we promptly accepted. Not long after, our salads arrived. They had about the right amount of dressing, and tasted good. Soon we had our entrees. My ribs were good, cooked to fall-off-the-bone status. Most were quite meaty, and I enjoyed the flavor of the bar-b-que sauce. I had a loaded baked potato which was fine also. My wife and mom both enjoyed the pork chops. Each saved one to take home. My wife thought they were a little salty. She also mentioned the baked sweet potato she had was delicious. We looked over the dessert menu, which had some great choices, but decided to pass. Our waitress did a consistently good job all the way through, even though she admitted she was just out of training. I stopped a manager to give him my glowing opinion of her. We would definitely return again.

This review is mostly to help the hordes of people who travel I-95 and are wondering which is a good place to stop in Florence for a bite to eat. As far as chains go this is about as good as your are going to get in the FLO. It saddens me to report that one of the best steaks you are going to get in this area is found at a chain and not a mom and pop. The steaks here are always cooked perfectly and should you have that rare chance that it isn't the management here seems intent on correcting any mistakes. If you aren't familiar with Longhorn restaurants you definitely also need to try their Parmesan Crusted Chicken dishes (they have an entree and a sandwich). The quality of their sides and appetizers is also a bit higher than you would expect out of a chain. This place gets crowded on Friday and Saturday nights so be prepared to wait. If I had only one choice for food right off an I-95 exit in Florence this would be the place.

I don't regularly eat red meat, however on this rainy Sunday in Florence SC I was just hankering for one. I came to Longhorns. Ordered the white cheddar stuffed mushrooms, strawberry salad and steak. The steak was overlooked, however as soon as I cut into it the waiter came directly back to my table and said, "I can tell by your expression that the steak doesn't meet your expectations." I said, it's fine. A second or two the manager approached my table and said, "we want you to enjoy what you ordered." Again I said I would keep the steak but as soon as I put two pieces in my mouth, I knew I wouldn't eat it. I dreaded the idea of giving it to the puppy. My server came back by the table and saw the steak pushed to the side and said, "absolutely not, let's get you another steak". The manager was supporting him all the way and said ... It's not a problem ma'am. They brought me a delicious perfectly cooked steak. I appreciate this service because it's NOT normally what you get from restaurants. It's the best service that I've gotten at any Longhorns that I have gone to. Yup when my steak hankering kicks in again - I will be back to Longhorns !

Enjoyed steak and lobster at the bar. The lobster wasn't the best, but I wasn't trying for a stellar night out. The steak was good and I could eat asparagus all day. Wine was ok too.

Best White Peach Sangria ever!!! The waiter was friendly and helpful. He made excellent recommendations. The prices were a bit high for just a steak and one side. Salads costs extra and if you want asparagus as a side item, it cost extra too!

Me, my wife, and kids went here tonight for dinner. The waitress we got was horrible. She refilled the drink once the whole time we were there. The food was still great when it was correct. I had to send my order back twice. I had initially ordered a ribeye with loaded mashed potatoes and cheese and bacon on the steak. First time I got the food, there was nothing on the steak. Second time, she changed the potatoes to just sour cream and chives but still nothing on the steak. So, I asked to speak with the manager who did end up rectifying the situation by making our whole order free which is why they still get 4 stars instead of less.

I eat here often when in Florence on business. I usually am very pleased with meal. I would suggest that hostesses learn that it is ok for a woman to eat alone. There are hotels across the street and women traveling business and need to eat. I love the bread and salad.

Super fast service, even on a busy night. The waitress was friendly and the place was very clean. Unfortunately, they forgot a couple of our sides and our appetizer. The food we did get was good, but not great.

I called ahead for a group of 14, Friday night @ 7:00 pm; the Hostess & Manager were more than accommodating. We waited in the bar while our table was being prepared. Greeted by the hostess again to seat us, our waitresses Brittany & Karen were awesome! They took all of ours orders, everything came out perfect and in good time, they checked on us often & responded! We were pleasantly surprised that they split the check for us without asking. Great food, great company, superb service! Good times - Thank You!

Walked in to get a table for one. Was told I would need to wait for about 5 minutes and was given a buzzer. Looked inside and restaurant was empty. Told them no thanks and walked out. Went to outback across the road and was very warmly welcomed and sat down instantly.

I took my husband here for his birthday last year and it was a nice experience overall. I'm not a beef eater myself so I ordered a chicken entree which was pretty good. He ordered a steak and said it was good though. The service was quick and friendly. My biggest complaint was that they were blasting country music really loud which kind of ruined it for me. I'm not a fan of country music but I can generally ignore it if it's not too loud but they had it turned up so loud we had a hard time engaging in conversation. So the food and service was good but the ambiance wasn't too conducive to conversation.

Located just off of Interstate 95, I find myself in this area usually on a Saturday, when traveling. I find all the restaurants in this area are extremely packed on Saturdays, so expect very long waits. Have been at a few of these in this chain, in various states and find the food is very good at each one. The service tends to vary. Here the service was just barely average. They never asked if we wanted a second bar drink and the food took quite a while before it was even delivered to our table (this was after waiting 45 minutes for the table alone). The decor is very western and relaxed. I would dine here for the food, but would definitely try to get there a bit earlier and make the effort to ask for a 2nd bar drink.

If you are a steak lover then this is the place for you. Food is good, service is wonderful, and the atmosphere is warm and delightful. Had some issues with some steaks in the past, but I still come and enjoy.

This is my boyfriend's favorite restaurant in Florence! He swears by the Parmesan Crusted Chicken. I on the other hand am a steak lover! The steak is very good, but it could use a little more seasoning for my taste. For lunch they serve these delicious sandwiches and I'm pretty sure I like them all. The salad is always really good and fresh. The only downfall is this place is BUSY, so be prepared for a wait. I have sat at the bar to avoid the wait and this isn't the place to do bar seating if you're going to eat a full meal. The bar staff is always super busy.

Food was great but the service sucks period. I love supporting Florence businesses when I come home but I will NOT be returning to the Longhorn Steakhouse in Florence! I just returned from dinner with a party of 10 for a birthday party. It seems this Longhorns is definitely not equipped and prepared to accept parties greater than 4-6 people. I called ahead 30 minutes prior as well as spoke with a manager to confirm seating. We were seated at the time desired as well as given 2 servers. Seated at 630 pm and didn't receive food until 0815. However, food was warm but 4 of the 10 orders were incorrect. They were very uncoordinated and the confusion showed when food was delivered to our table that we did not order twice. It concerned me that they didn't even offer a military discount. I've been to many Longhorns that offer 10%. This only matters to me because it clearly shows they are not a military-friendly business considering the number of veterans in this area.

Worst meal yet at Longhorns - don't plan to revisit. Smells of Mildew throughout the restaurant. That should of been our clue to leave. Steak came out way over cooked and dry. Manager came over and offered to bring out another. The second steak was still overcooked (not a much as the first but still over cooked) and fatty. A "sorry" was given but no discount offered or given. Very disappointed in Longhorn's Steak house.

I have always loved this steakhouse, However, my last trip was a huge let down! The food was sub-par, 30 min for a tea refill and never really knew who was in-charge of our food service. The seats were worn and torn. The excuses were because they were too busy, but they were only a third full. Bathrooms were nasty and then when the check came it had a recommended tip on it. It may be standard these days, but I don't tell them what to charge, why should they tell me me what to tip? Especially when I really never knew who was waiting on us.

Wow this place really has issues from management down. We had a party of 5 come about 20 minutes before closing and we are treated like absolute garbage. And not from the waitress but ever single other staff member including the manager Pierre!! I have never felt this kind of disrespect from a restaurant in my entire life. Unfortunately this experience has caused me to never support longhorn ever again.

By far, the worst experience I've ever had in a restaurant. To make matters worse when we complained to the manager he brushed us off with a sarcastic smile. Not interested in appeasing his customers who were all prepared to spend money. Pierre was the manager on duty, and for me who was raised in the restaurant industry, I would never hire him for any position let alone management. Super unqualified and unprofessional. Never again will we visit here again.

I came to the restaurant to eat dinner with my husband not AFTER my husband had finished his meal. Cooks need to learn how to cook a steak how it is ordered. Definitely not impressed. Probably won't be back.
