Do not order a take out from here. They can't get it right and it's cold. Also I was on the phone for fifteen minutes to try to get a refund for the food I didn't order. Because they wanted me to drop what I was doing at work to reinconvience myself and one up there. Eventually I got tired of being on hold and hung up and redialed only to be told I would have to be called back. Needless to say this was my last trip to ihop of Florence.

We were traveling to SC and wanted breakfast and were looking for a good place along I95. We saw a sign for IHOP and new this was the place to be. The parking lot was more than half full so we expected to see a full restaurant. This place was happening. We were seated right away and got our drink orders in for coffee and juice. The waitress arrived with drinks and we ordered our breakfast. She was very professional and extremely nice. Saying she was great and polite is just not saying enough as to how good our waitress was. Explained everything about our orders and offered more selections. Even gave extra napkins without having to ask. It goes without saying that the food was very good. Hot, fresh and delicious. But man, so much of it. Almost couldn't finish my meal. Excellent service, great prices and even better food. If your traveling down I95 and see this IHOP make sure you stop and get some!

So I love IHOP normally...come on what is better then pancakes. This however was a massive dissapointment first I am not even sure that our waitress was even a waitress. We are there at 4 in the afternoon and it is not busy for dinner yet and service was so slow. We were never asked about refills dessert appetizers or even if we would like anything else. Dropped the check and disappeared. My husband had to get up and give it to her so we could pay. The food was OK but the eggs were overcooked and the bacon definitely seemed like it was cooked on a very dirty grill. My worse IHOP experience yet.

I stopped at this I-Hop on my way back to VA from SC on 4/10/15. I didn't experience the terrible service other Yelpers have described. However I didn't experience outstanding service either. If this was any other restaurant other than an I-Hop, I'd rate it 2 stars. However I can't knock the I-Hop for giving me average food. I go to an I-Hop for comfort food and not for a fine dining experience. In conclusion the meal was forgettable but I'll be able to remember it again by going to any other I-Hop.

As regards to the price (~10$), this place is a 5-star restaurant all the time and everywhere. Enjoy their dinner but especially their breakfast.

This is the worst food at an IHOP I have ever had. Our bacon was limp and undercooked. My husband ordered scrambled eggs dry( hard cooked) and they were dripping with oil/ butter they were cooked in and we had to send them back. My eggs also scrambled and dripping in butter/oil had mushrooms or some type of brown object throughout. I chose to just not to eat them. Pancakes were cold and tough. The ladies room was really dirty and unkempt. There was a dirty basket for disposable hand towels for guests to use. It was disgusting. The only highlight was out server who was attentive and pleasant. This was a newer IHOP and we thought it would be a good place to stop. Disappointed and still hungry. Think twice before stopping here.

I know, I know! How could you give IHOP 5 stars? Food was excellent both times I ate here when working in Florence. Two different wait persons. Both were excellent servers. Great place for breakfast.

Food was typical IHOP food. Weird setup though, building was set up in quiet, awkward rooms with tiny booths and no music. And every employee in the building, including the manager, was playing on their cell phone the whole time we were there. I was starting to wonder if I needed the waitresses number to call her so we could place our order. And when they weren't on their phones, we got to hear several stories about problems their having with people on Facebook. I think they all need to go through training again.

Basic breakfast joint but with the option ti get lunch foods. I come here all the time! The service is always different depending on the time and who is serving you. However, the food is consistent. I always get the cinn a stack pancakes or a breakfast platter. The pancakes are always perfect! If you ever want breakfast, this is always my first recommendation for anything in the florence area. Waffle houses around here cannot compete with ihop. My only reasoning for not a 5 star review is that sometimes the service can be unpredictable and I highly dislike the menu design. However, the food is always on point and that is the main point of dining! I would never turn somebody away from this restaurant. If there is anything I wouldn't recommend about this place, it would be getting any sort of steak along with your order. It is clearly cooked in same area as the eggs and bacon are cooked, and the taste is definitely more than just odd to be steak. Steak in an omelette is always delicious, just not by itself at a breakfast joint!

This is one of the best places to eat for breakfast no matter what time of the day it is. Awesome food and good service. You can even order and take out! Only once have I had an issue with food here, and I've eaten here a lot. That once was rectified by the manager and I got free food to make up for it.
