So I met my parents for dinner on their way through SC toward the beach from PA....my parents are VERY picky eaters, and when I say picky, I mean they only eat from chains and it has to be 'american' (steak, baked potatoes, burgers, fried chicken etc). So we ended up at Cracker Barrel. Normally I would never go here on my own or with my friends, but the overall experience was a pretty pleasant one. The waitress was really incredible, fast with everything, even giving us extra biscuits in a to go box when we left...so the service was 5 star worthy....the food though, was pretty meh. I ordered a apple and onion glazed chicken with a side of broccoli casserole and some sort of fall harvest stuffing. The stuffing tasted like it was out of a box and the casserole wasn't all that great. The chicken was for the most part good, albeit a bit greasy. The biscuits and cornbread were probably the tastiest part of the meal. Overall the food was probably a 2star rating, but the service bumped it to a 3 for me! I'll inevitably be back with mom and dad :)

We travel around this great country in our rv and our favorite place to dine is the Cracker Barrel. Always great food. Florence Cracker Barrel is the best of the best. We eat breakfast here at least three times a month and have always had great service and the food is always promptly delivered and taste is spot on. the beat place to eat in Florence. I love pancakes and theirs are as good as you will ever eat.

Reliable food, no matter where you eat, you kno you are eating a good quality product. Speed of service may not always be consistent but when ot comes to price and quality they are a solid 4 stars. We order the pancakes, french toast with fresh strawberries, the open egg sandwhich with peppered bacon and country ham and all the food was delicious. The server was friendly. When you find yourself hungry driving up and down US-95 you are sure you are going to find a reliable meal for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Cracker barrell is not known to be fast food so plan your trip and allow some extra time for breakfast here. Everytbing was superb!

Typical good experience at Cracker Barrel. The kids and I stopped for an early dinner and had the pleasure of being served by Roxanne who was responsive, attentive, and proactive. Drinks were filled and another waiting. Food and bread were hot.

We stopped here kind of late on a Saturday while traveling, and they were super busy. But we got seated right away, and had fantastic service. We ordered meatloaf, and after waiting a little longer than usual for the food to come out, the manager came to tell us they were out of meatloaf. He was super apologetic, and immediately offered to comp our meal, and replace the meatloaf with any other entree. Our food came out almost immediately afterward and everything was delicious. Excellent management response turned what could have been a negative experience into an excellent one. And the biscuits were on point. (We both ended up having chicken and dumplings, delish!)

Typical chain restaurant. Food was ok. Service was outstanding though. People go back to expect the same ol thing time after time. U mostly gave it just 3 stars due to the chains pricing structure. ...Had a side of macaroni and cheese. ..maybe a cup 16oz. 2.69 come on. No wonder they have restaurants everywhere. ...we helped build them.

Very friendly service at this location -- southern hospitality at its best. The food is similar to other CBs so no complaints there!

The pancakes were delicious even better than the typical Cracker Barrel which is saying A Lot! Kari was our server. She was attentive and friendly. If in SC again, we will be back.

The best pecan pancakes you could ever have! Cracker Barrel is a truly wonderful place. This one had a great service and was very friendly. A very classic place.

Good breakfast with reasonable prices We both had Mommas pancake breakfast with coffee. Service was efficient. The health rating was A and the bathrooms were very clean and neat. The pancakes were very good, the bacon was excellent and the eggs were good. The coffee was fine although not quite as hot as I would like. I would eat there again on my way home from Florida. My husband says it was as good as any Cracker Barrel ever is.

If you don't eat meat, don't eat here. If you like fresh food, prepared with respect, don't eat here. If you like American chain restaurant food, made from artificial ingredients and canned food-- deep fried and high in sugar, fat and salt as a feeble attempt to replace the flavor that would have come naturally in fresher more honest ingredients, by all means, eat here. One star for the grilled cheese.

Good service. Always up to Cracker Barrell standards. Ribeye Steak is excellent for the price and rivals most steak houses.

Not quite up to other Cracker Barrel's I've dined at. I was seated in just a few minutes considering it was 6PM and very busy. My order was taken and my drinks delivered quite fast. I was dining alone so I was reading the news on my phone and after a few minutes wondered why my biscuit and corn bread hasn't arrived. I looked around and everyone else just had drinks on the table if they were waiting for food. Oh well, so much for passing the time eating comfort food while the main course is prepared. The main course arrived along with the corn bread and biscuits! So much for eating the bread treats while they are still warm. I cut a piece of Chicken Fried Chicken and it is quite warm but tastes great as usual. I take a forkful of the mashed potatoes with sawmill gravy and they are barely lukewarm. I spear a baby carrot and it too is barely heated. One last try on the third side, hash brown casserole, and it is just cool, not cold but cool. I know better than to send food back to the kitchen so I ate what I wanted. The waitress asked if everything was okay and I reluctantly said it's fine. She said "I'm not rushing you but while I'm here I will leave this for you." It was the check. Honestly I was planning on ordering dessert and coffee but I wasn't even half finished eating my meal and the bill arrived. For me, going to Cracker Barrel is a treat as there are none close to where I reside. This visit, my experience was ruined and I doubt I will go back to that particular store. It's a shame as I will be here for 5 months and most likely eaten two meals a week minimum at this CB. I'm glad Daytona Beach has many restaurants to choose from.

When I eat here I always get the breakfast. Well I made a MISTAKE! I decided to get the chicken (if you can call it that) which seemed to be pressed meat. I guess the reason it comes with gravy is to cover up the taste. I opted for no gravy, so I guess I made another mistake there. My green beans tasted like old grease or oil. My mac and cheese was just noddles with liquid fake cheese on top. Last when I started to eat my mashed potatoes I found buried treasure. There was an apple slice as well as a chunk of broccoli. Everything came out cold! The only thing I could eat was the biscuits. I don't think I will be back again even for breakfast!

My Meatloaf and vegetables came out warm to cold at best. My wife got the runs I am assuming from the "fresh" fruit. Poorly run store. Skip it if you are passing through

Friendly service, great atmosphere, but the half pound burger ain't worth having. Breakfast is probably your best bet!

Normally, my typical Cracker Barrel review goes along the line of, good service, normal Cracker Barrel quality food. No animals were hurt in the production of this review. While today, the service was good, my side of the meal was lower than the typical expectations that you have of Cracker Barrel. Warm, not even close to hot food, and my hash brown casserole was crispy on top; either way over cooked in what ever magic trickery they use in the kitchen, or their oven. Very disappointed in the quality of the food. OK, but not great service. This Cracker Barrel does not honor a Senior, or a Military/Veterans discount. Meh. @Removeyourhat

Everything was pretty good here, especially my attentative waiter, but I had ordered this large breakfast and he forgot to bring the pancakes that were suppose to go with my "heart attack on a plate" type of meal!!! I saw the pancakes on a billboard and decided to pull over and get some!!! I pulled over, ordered that large breakfast that was supposed to include pancakes, then when I got my meal, forgot all about them. I enjoyed it regardless - thanks for a nice meal :)

I do not understand why people like this place. I had the following: Meatloaf Cabbage Biscuits Tea - bleh Fried okra Kernel corn All vegetables tasted like they were from the can. Service is friendly, but not always fast.

It's cracker barrel ppl, Lots of hearty fried food. If you are looking for southern food, or are in need of of anything fried, look no further. I really like this place, they have a little store to walk around in while you wait. If you want laid back, southern style food with polite service, come here.

My GF and I stopped by one of the two Cracker Barrels along that stretch but my receipt doesn't show the address. It's CB 69 and our server was the lovely Hope. Our service was blindingly quick despite the large crowd and our server attentive. I'd eat here again in a minute.

We stayed in Florence in January at Baymont Hotel. This Cracker Barrel was located in front of the hotel. We went here for dinner and breakfast. The biscuits were awesome and I enjoyed the country fried steak (which I never eat) and the sides (collards, green beans, mashed potates). I thought the service was friendly and attentive. The fireplace was nice on a cold night. I would stop here again if I were staying in the area.

This place was a pit stop off of I-95 on our way south from VA o FL. I have never been to Cracker Barrel before, and my brother insisted we go. He loves, heavy, hearty meals. Well, this is exactly what you get at Cracker Barrel. For a very affordable price, they pack the food on your plate, plus give you another plate of biscuits. They have definitely perfected the art of making biscuits. I mean they just melt in your mouth...soft and tasty like they just came out of your grandma's oven. We stopped there twice actually... so I had breakfast and dinner. Pros: Affordable. Filling. Friendly Service. Good American/Southern cooking for the average American eater. A truck stop heaven. Cons: It's a chain...Cafeteria dining feel, not a place for a "foodie". Well, "average American eater" can be a con as well, depending on who you are. Plan to gain a pound because of whatever they're cooking their food in/with. My Breakfast: I barely remember. It was one of those platters with sausage and bacon and eggs and hash brown casserole, grits, biscuits, and cooked apples. Too much food...and it was only like...8 bucks. No complaints. I just couldn't finish. My Dinner: Ribeye, cabbage, apple sauce, dumplins. The ribeye was juicy and cooked to order but salty (lucky for me, I like salty). The cabbage was steamed and wasn't under or over cooked. It was flavored with meat. The apple sauce obviously was from a Motts jar, but whatever, I like it. The dumplins didn't taste homemade and lacked flavor. Still, all that food only came to 12 bucks.

We needed a dinner on the road and picked Cracker Barrel for it's consistency. Honestly, I have only eaten breakfast here before. The Florence SC site was clean, welcoming, and they seated us immediately. Our waiter was helpful. Susan had chicken and dumplings, fried apples, and cole slaw. I had steak, greens, carrots, and green beans. Everything was good, country style right down to the biscuit.
