Love this place. The menu has a great varity of great food. I love the Cajun Chicken Pasta and the Broccoli Salad among others. They even have Quiche, were can you find that around here and it's great too. The staff is super friendly too. Don't pass this place by when you're on Main St in Easley, trust me you'll love it.

I stopped into this sleepy little diner on Main St hoping it was inspired by the restaurant of the same name in New York City. Noone who worked there seemed to know anything about the one in NYC though. But I was still pleasantly suprised by the quality of the food in this soup and sandwhich diner. I ordered the lobster bisque which was creamy with a hint of sherry. Not much lobster, but what can you expect for $3.50? I also had the navy bean and sausage soup which was topped with sour cream and chives. It was delicious. Not from a can here folks. For the main attraction I ordered the pot roast which seemed to be floating around all over the menu in different forms. Pot roast croissant, pot roast sub, pot roast sandwhich or just plain pot roast, which is what I had. Packed with flavour and very juicy. The portion was just the right size and came with your choice of two sides. I got the mashed potatoes and green beans. The green beans tasted fresh, they were stewed but not overstewed. Still had a little bite to them. The mashed potatoes where creamy and had no lumps. The special this month was a grilled pimento cheese sandwhich with bacon. It was grilled to perfection in a panini maker and the pimento cheese was homemade and loaded with cheddar. I had no room for dessert but did get a good look at their New York style cheesecake which looked amazing. All in all I should have stopped in this place a long time ago but was always turned off by the outside. It looks from the outside like they aren't open or that they don't get much business. Couldn't be the furthest from the truth. Seems like everyone else in town is keeping this place a secret and all to themselves because they busier than imagined. I will definitely be back and soon.

You won't find a better place to grab lunch! The menu has something for everyone. All the ladies who run the place are extremely courteous. The food is great!
