Yum, yum! Great service. Great food. Wonderful flavor. If we are back in Myrtle we will visit again. Highly recommended. BTW, free chips and salsa at this restaurant.

I don't really get the 4 1/2 stars. This was your typical Mexican restaurant, except you can add another $2-$4 per meal as you are at the beach...sort of. The food was not bad, just what I typically get at every other Mexican restaurant. They were doing construction outside, so the parking was a little awkward. IF I were to point out anything that makes this place special, it would be the service. I am assuming they are family owned, but very friendly, engaging, and accommodating. I would eat here again.

Excellent food , love how it's never packed. Real relaxed atmosphere will definitely come back. Ordered the fajitas and they were nice and fresh. Just wish they would add more shrimp

El Patio always hits the spot. When I was in school at Coastal it was always a top lunch choice. Whenever I'm back in town, my Coastal friends and I love to take a walk down memory lane here. Of course there's free chips and salsa, it's your standard tex-mex style menu... giant with pages of specials and combinations. The prices are so cheap, which was perfect for our broke student asses. You can get lunch for less than four bucks if need be... unbeatable.

We come to Myrtle Beach every year for a week of golf and this is always one of the clear choices for dinner after a day of golf. The service is efficient and always delivered with warm smiles. The food is much more than your standard tex-mex and offers a variety to please everyone. This is hands down the best Mexican in the area.

While it looks like a misplaced tourist trap on the outside, the menu holds some really great gems for those craving more authentic Mexican in Conway, and will please those who keep to the Americanized plates. Among the locals and university crowd, this place is an institution. Don't come here expecting California-authentic or spicy fare, but it's my go-to for some solid homestyle comfort food with the traditional side of well-seasoned beans and rice. The carnitas is a stand-out, slow cooked with beer and spices and very tender.

Great Mexican place in MB. (Their margaritas were not good though - not good.)

Great place to grab Mexican food! The chicken quesadillas with pulled chicken is my absolute favorite. Definitely better than any quesadilla I've ever had (and I've been to Mexico!). Has a great happy hour which cheap margaritas and another food menu. Service is a little slow but it had a good atmosphere in the bar area and the free chips and salsa is not only delicious, but balances the service out. The buffet on Sundays is a decent deal. It's about $10. They don't gave the quesadillas and it's a buffet so you can't expect too much - selection is basic but good if you just like to eat a lot!

REALLY good Mexican food. Clean, fast inexpensive. I really rely on yelp on restaurants particularly when out of town. This was no exception!

My friends and I discovered this place while on vacation and kept going back 3 years in a row! This is what Mexican food is supposed to taste like! Authentic, covered in sauce and cheese. So delicious. Great margaritas too! El Patio, I LOVE YOU!

Probably the best happy hour of my college days! El Patio caters to all different crowds, and I have so many memories here. If you're looking for a "It's 5 o Clock somewhere!" type of place, El Patio is it! It's cheap, decent Mexican food, with no wait, comfortable bar setting and quiet restaurant dining area. Drinks are cheap, and the bar tenders and servers are really friendly. I was given countless deals in the bar area for the last 3 years while attending the nearby University, and I'll never look back on this place in a sour way! In the bar area they also have a pool table, which attracts a crowd, but i've always found a nice place to sit no problem! Deals: Bottomless Chips and Salsa (free) $3 Margaritas and $2 drafts! If you go there, ask for Fransisco, such a nice guy!

This is one of the best places to eat in Conway! The service is great but the food is what shines here. I have never had a bad experience here. This is one of our families favorite place to eat and do so at least a few times a month.

Our party of six had a great experience. You can't go wrong with complimentary chips and salsa but next time I'll take a pass on the five dollar guacamole, so disappointing... Everyone enjoyed their entrees and the portions were huge! I ordered the fish taco, actually a wrap, but it was tasty. Others ordered seafood and chicken entrees everything was fresh and full of flavor. Our server was very accommodating, thanks Marra!

While it's a lot like many of the other Mexican in the area, the huge menu and free chips and salsa warrant a "Yay! I'm a fan." all on their own. I can't say that it's my favorite place ever, but I do get excited to go.

Great happy hour destination. The food is pretty good and drinks are decently priced. If your in town for the weekend they have an all you can eat lunch Sunday morning and into the afternoon.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
