Sports bars are not my typical hangout but this place is close to home for me. I would also consider myself more of a wine drinker than beer. With that said, here we go. I stopped in on a Friday evening after work because I had just dealt with a 12 hour day and a beverage was in order. The place was busy which is always a good sign. It's easy to identify this place a popular local hangout when you walk in. It has great atmosphere and it gives off a friendly vibe. I sat at the bar and the bartender showed up within seconds. She was very courteous and answered my questions about the beer menu. I made a choice and asked if the kitchen was still open (this was about 9 pm). It was. Before she could return with my beer and a menu, another bartender checked in to see if I had been helped. Great service. The menu was impressive with plenty of choices. I ordered a burger but I ordered it different than it was described on the menu. The burger arrived very quickly and it was exactly how I wanted it. The temp was perfect (medium) and the presentation was great. The house chips were a real treat. The great thing about this burger was that it didn't fall apart like typical bar food when I ate it. I had a great experience here and now I see what all the hype is about. On an added note, the place is smoke free and it was great to enjoy a local pub & eatery without the ever-present cigarette smoke. As I like to say "this place definitely goes into my rotation."

First time hearing about it today and going there. It's a great spot in downtown conway, none of us our drinkers but the food there was PHENOMENAL! The fish tasted exceptional and the ultimate burger was speculation and very juicy. It gave you many options for sides and ALL were great! It's a great cozy spot for being a local and going to a bar and will become one of our regulars! I have never been so satisfied with a menu and a location just to hangout play some games and eat some good food, with great service and VERY clean.

Cozy little sports bar with an enormous selection of beers. If you can't find something to drink here, then you're too much of a beer snob to be out in public anyway. Food is decent. Nothing outrageous, just your typical small-town Southern fare at fairly reasonable prices. When we were there, service was incredibly slow. It seemed like the few servers they had were all college girls who were on their very first waitressing job ever. They were super nice and friendly, but extraordinarily slow. My wife had chicken bog (a traditional rice, chicken, and sausage dish), I had Buffalo wings, and my daughter got chicken strips. Average quality, but remember, this is a brewhouse more than it is a restaurant. As long as you consider that when ordering food, you won't leave disappointed. Despite the slow service, I would visit again for sure.

Best Sports Bar located in historic downtown Conway, SC. They have a lovely selection of craft beers that changes at least weekly. The bartenders are always very nice and attentive. They do a great job of offering food and beer events too! The Crafty Fest is really fun. Food is your general bar food, salads, burgers, wings etc, but very good quality and tasty!

One of the better spots on this end of town. I haven't eaten there but, who needs to with all that beer? They definitely have the best craft brew selection around. Possibly in all of Myrtle. With the craft beer trend having taken off over the last few years, theses guys landed right in the middle of it. Bonus points for it being started by a couple fellow Coastal Carolina Alumnus. Go Chants!

Went here on Saturday afternoon after a family tour of Coastal Carolina and a little Myrtle Beach fun. My family andd I were nervous as there were not many people inside and we almost turned around. Thank goodness we didn't! We had the nachos for an appetizer. They were a bit watery but overall, packed with flavor and ingredients. I sampled and ended up choosing the Chicken Bog for an entree. Tasty, tasty. The large plate was enough to fill me up and eat again for that night's dinner. Good job Crafty Rooster. If the little one chooses Coastal, we will be back!

If this place were closer to the house i would be here every night! Cozy, comfortable, clean, oh & beer. Many brews to choose from even from Southern CA for such a small place in a small town. Tried a burger & it was great but the fries were even better.

We bought are house 5 yrs ago here in Conway and not having cable right away we had to fine a sports bar for football so we tried the rooster and it was great we are bears fans so they put the bears on one of the TVs for us with no prob. So with them treating us like we like to be treated the rooster is one of are favorite places to go and like every one says the burger are really good and the choice of beers is great.

This is a place for good beer and good bar food. If you you don't like that, this may not be your place. If you want to complain and get something for nothing, go somewhere else.

It's a bar with pub food. You've seen the decor 1000 times; jerseys, tvs, less atmosphere than a typical Applebee's. The food was better than expected, but I didn't expect much. They seem to make their own potato chips, which is a nice touch. Those were fresh and tasty. My wife had a chicken fingers wrap which she quite liked, I had a good-sized burger that was pretty good. Unfortunately, the server didn't ask how I wanted it done, and it came out medium-well. Service was slow slow slow on a Saturday afternoon with only 1 table sat when we came in.

It looks like a great little bar to frequent after work because there were smiles all around it but not to take your wife to dinner. The service was bad and the food looked thrown together on the plates. I had a burger and asked my waitress for ketchup, she acted agitated that I asked, then asked the table next to us if they needed theirs and gave it to us. Maybe I expected too much.

if youre new in town, check it out...youll get caught up on local, college culture real quick! great brews, and events throughout the year. great selection of beer on tap and in the fridge. the food is simple with creative names. its location is great if you live near downtown conway or in housing on the myrtle border.

This restaurant hasn't been open too long, I think under two weeks when I ate there. On a whim I stopped for dinner there the other night. It wasn't terribly busy but for a brand new business there were a decent number of people there. It's got a standard bar + restaurant layout, nice open layout. I had the reuben sandwich, which was OK, nothing stellar. The pasta salad on the side had a nice flavor but was pretty chewy. If you like it al dente, this is great for you. The service was prompt and attentive. So far so good on this place. I'll try them again and see how they progress.

This place is fabulous! Great food, great service, great ambience - and no pretension - just a great pub! Had the bestReuben I've ever had along with a tasty pasta salad and crisp potato chips made at the restaurant. Can't wait To go back! My husband had the chicken bog and he raved about it. I can't believe that we have lived in Conway two years and have never found this place. Thank you, Crafty Rooster for a great evening!

A great little bar in the heart of downtown Conway. They have a long list of craft and seasonal beers that constantly rotates. They have seasonal events that coincide with tapping party's to promote new beers. The food is pretty good as well. Above average bar food with a hat nod to their Ragin Rooster Chicken Sandwich. On the down side their service is not up to par. It is always slow. Be forewarned.

Super nice place...terrific staff...excellent and changing draft beer choices. Nice to find at leas one "beer centric" bar in the area.. didn't eat the food...but...others commented that they thought quite good and a decent value. Sitting at the bar...the service was quick and knowledgeable

Traveling from Chicago, I have to say this place has great food and an amazing beer selection. Both bartenders, Paul and Morgan were very attentive. I loved the mac and cheese bites, wings and the seasonal holiday beers we had. Nice atmosphere and good food all around!

One of the poorest dining experiences we have ever had. At our suggestion, four other couple joined us for dinner after a show in downtown Conway. Nothing went right. We waited way too long for seating. It was not that busy at the time. The waiter seemed to be distracted and took forever to take just the drink order. The appetizers were wrong and they came out about 30 seconds before the totally confusing dinners. Nothing was as ordered. No sense of urgency to make it right. Seemed as though there was no manager on duty and the inmates were in charge of the asylum. We have never returned nor have our friends.

Horrible horrible horrible!!! Service was SLOW!! We stopped here for lunch. It was clean typical looking sports bar. There were about 5 other tables in the restaurant but we opted to sit at the bar. We ordered a bowl if chili which was sent out to us cold twice. 2 shrimp po boys, they were supposed to be served with chipolte mayo but had to ask for this and silverware. On top of that we had to tell the server that one of us was missing the side of pasta salad that was supposed to be served with our sandwiches. The server avoided us like we were the plague. What she assumed is we were just some red neck couple sitting at her bar for lunch because we were dressed in our motorcycle T-Shirts and jeans. But her loss because we both work in the restaurant buisness and if we would have gotten the service then she would have gotten more of a tip regardless of the food.

My favorite bar in Conway by far. Great draft beer selection thats always changing, about a new beer everyday. Great lunch specials everyday for $5. The Bennetts Burger is my favorite. Join the beer club and come back often. Ask for a left side of the bar or a right side of the bar.

Such a great spot! Crafty has excellent food, generously poured drinks and chill yet attentive bartenders. Their fried chicken is SICK and we enjoy the laid back vibe and comfy bar. This is always a stop for us when we are in Conway. If you like craft beers, southern cooking and not much fuss, Crafty is a perfect spot for you!

Great beer selection and friendly service. Menu is limited but really good bar food, apps and sandwiches. It's a bar but still family friendly if you are passing through or visiting nearby Coastal Carolina University.
