I did not think there was anything special about this location. Actually I will never return. There was a foul sewage smell throughout the entire place. That should have been a sign right there. The portions were small. I got the hibachi steak. The rice seemed old and tasteless. The ginger salad dressing, literally was like water. And had no ginger flavor at all. I thought they were a little expensive for the quality of food. But really, the smell was the worst. They need to address this or this place will not last.

This is a pretty average place to get teriyaki (which is basically Chinese stir fry with separated components) that is as Japanese as a Ford truck. However, what sets this place apart from the million other teriyaki joints is the good quality, large portions, decent prices and good service. The combo meals are a good value; chicken teriyaki is the one I like most (and submitted a photo of.) It comes with a decent iceberg lettuce/carrot salad and dressing. The lettuce is crisp and the dressing is nice and creamy. The chicken itself is decent and there is a lot of sauce, but the rice soaks that up nicely. The veggies (zucchini and onion) are cooked well and the zucchini isn't too soggy from oil. The white sauce for dipping is standard fare, but it compliments the dish well. I eat lunch here about once a week. It's fast, reliable and won't break the bank. A definite recommend. Note: if the quality starts to slip, I'll come back and make edits. This place is new enough that I needed to submit it. EDIT (2-14-12): Quality of the food has started slipping. The last couple of times I've gone here, my chicken was dry and coated in slimy sauce...downgrading from 4 to 3 stars.

The food was pretty dry, I had the Teriyaki Chicken & it was okay, just really dry with lots of sauce.

Maaaaan is there an option to give this location 16 stars? Because ooooooooowee I would do so if that was an option! First I walk in. Second I ordered the food. Third I was served the food from a James Franco resembling waiter. Fourth you ask? I ate the delicious food sent from heaven! Might as well been angel hair pasta considering it's heavenly food. I had to ask for an oxygen tank because the food was out of this world and I can't breathe on the moon! Should've rated this place billions of stars considering its out of this world. Are we sure this place isn't a planet? I'm surprised I was able to find this location on my GPS because it was out of this WORRRRRLLLLDDDD!

Ew! The place smelled like someone had an accident in the bathroom and they sprayed bathroom cleaner EVERYWHERE! I can still smell it on my clothes! I made it halfway through the teriyaki chicken and had to leave. The lettuce was so wet that my dressing ran off of it and there was just a watery soup in the bottom of the bowl. And my food came out before I was done serving myself my own drink. Makes me think it's just sitting back there under a warmer. The rice was all sticky and stuck together too. It was just horrible. Thank God for Tums!

I have no idea how decent the food is at Tokyo Grill. However, the service was such a turn off that we did not try it and went across the street to miyos. It was right before closing time, the open light was on, we pull up and as we walk towards the door, they turn the open light off and lock the door. I likely will never try what others describe as pedestrian mall Asian cuisine. However, be warned of the service.

Horrible. I walked in at noon and it was empty: red flag number one. Then i ordered chicken/shrimp teriyaki combo, spring rolls, and California rolls. I paid and under 1 minute later was handed a bag of food: BIG red flag number two. Obviously nothing was cooked fresh in that amount of time. And sure enough the food was not or even warm, it was barely room temperature and the shrimp was dried out. The spring rolls were minuscule and soggy, and the Cali rolls were dry and cold: obviously sitting in a fridge overnight or more. Food had no flavor at all. I usually go around the corner to Hibachi Express, a little hole in the wall place behind the Kroger. the food there is 1000 times better! they cook it when you order it, so you have to wait a few minutes, but its worth it. Ill never go back to a Tokyo Grill again.

I agree with previous reviews - the portions are huge, the prices are decent and the food is pretty good quality! We visited for lunch and the service was very fast. I had the chicken teriyaki combo and it was tasty! We'll definitely be visiting again soon.
