Went back last week and casually asked the guys about their Internet offering. Turns out the Net is "FREE" courtesy of....Panera! cough, cough You get the picture. PS The place seemed less crowded (yeah was middle of the week) and much more enjoyable. Also got some X-Mas ideas from the CD display.

As a daily Starbucks customer/addict, I was super excited when this location moved over to a bigger store with a drive-thru. I was looking forward to not having to deal with the horrible service at the Lexington location when I was in need of a drive-thru. Well I was wrong. This location makes having to deal with the long waits in Lexington almost a dream. After several months of being open, the drive-thru experience has only gotten worse. If you aren't going to staff your store properly enough to adequately run a drive-thru, then why even expand and add one to begin with?! During my last 5 visits to this location I have sat in the drive-thru line for 20 minutes, 22 minutes, 30 minutes, 33 minutes, and 41 minutes. (I started keeping time after the first few visits were astonishingly terrible) Never has there been more than a handful of cars in front of me and never once have I had any similar experience at another Starbucks (other than Lexington). Last time I was excited when I pulled up and saw NO cars in the drive-thru. How long did it take? Over 20 minutes. My order? One Grande Caramel Macchiato. Absolutely ridiculous. The staff is very nice and extremely apologetic, over and over again, but nothing has changed. Every experience has been more disappointing and frustrating than the last. On top of the long wait times, my drinks have been wrong the last THREE visits. This last time it was never made right, but I am so over it at this point that I am leaving it here on Yelp and never returning. I won't be back, and if I can find out which other locations are managed by the same people I won't be visiting those anymore either because it is clearly a staffing and management issue.

Needing an Internet connection as I was traveling the Interstate, there was the green light of a Starbucks on a billboard that said it was only a left turn off the highway. Yep, and it is technically only a left turn. It's also a mile drive. Seriously? And once inside, the place was entirely too noisy to even think. The high pitched whining of the steam espresso and the loud racket of the other hardware made it impossible to stick around. Otherwise, it's still a Starbucks.

I'm simply stoked over the fact this place is in my area and there is a DRIVE-THRU.. I have never been to a Starbucks with a drive-thru. I am from NJ and the only other Starbucks with a drive-thru that I have seen are in Portland, Oregon. I haven't been inside this location. But if you have seen one Starbucks you have seen them all. I had my usual and zipped off. As far as the free wifi.... yes any Starbucks I've ever visited has provided that service.... hopefully this one does too. Will be back here again, every once in awhile, as this coffee is alil pricey.

Best Starbucks I have ever been too. Always amazing service even when the line is going out the door. Been here too many times to count and the guy always knows my order and my name (is this a bad thing?! Haha)

Starbucks Garners Ferry Road has some of the best customer service oriented Baristas ever! They know customers by name and help a big chain feel small and welcoming!

Hmmm... another home away from home for me? I would say yes. Great, easy to access location on the street side of a shopping center. The staff here, as with any Starbucks, make the store that much better. Very easy to communicate with, and very willing to help you customize your drink to perfection. This store has a very nice long spread out layout, so you're not sitting on top of other customers, and then it has a very nice outdoor sitting area. I can definitely see myself at this location often.

Pretty good Starbucks with a drive-thru. Service is generally slow compared to other Starbucks, but if it's too slow, they've been known to comp your order, so there's that.

Boo!! Worst Starbucks drive thru in history!!! Even after several months, they don't have a solid system working. You can never get out of here quickly. Drives me crazy cause this used to be my normal morning stop. I park and walk in to panera, get my coffee, get back in my car and drive away in half the time it takes at this Starbucks.

This Starbucks serves the same burnt, overpriced coffee that any other Starbucks serves, but it's kind of small in seating. Expect to have to sit outside or not to sit at all if it's peak hours. Panera is two doors down and has better seating and coffee that doesn't taste like it was roasted with burning asphalt.

Look. I KNOW I have a problem. That's the first step right? Admitting you have a problem. This drive thru is definitely not helping though. What is there to say about Starbucks? You know all the drinks and the drill for ordering. This one was not so recently remodeled so it's pretty sleek inside. There's not a ton of seating but I'm usually rolling through the drive thru which is honestly pretty slow on most days. When I do pop inside to grab something it's usually pretty slow in there too. I saw a sheriff get so angry that he had to wait so long one time that he just threw his hands up and walked out. The staff are generally pretty friendly. I was a little irked today though because the person that prepared my drink said I got a different kind of Blonde roast. I asked what he meant. He said I got a Clover Willow instead of something else which was what they rang up at the register. I don't know anything about Clover Willow whatevers (though if I have a kid I'm totally naming them that) so I told him I wasn't sure what the difference was and asked him to tell me about it and he said "Oh nevermind then." That's not exactly an explanation. Sigh. I get it. Everyone wants their 'bucks and they want it NOW!!! but if you aren't going to crank out my Clover Willow quickly then at least give me some learnin'. It's not my first choice of coffee shops or even my first choice of Starbucks but it gets the job done. Someone needs to pop a Drip up near there and I'd be all over that ish.

I'm not from the area, so this was a couple miles away from the highway. It was in a good location and pretty easy to get to. I was definitely impressed with the service I received. For being a drive thru, I would have expected a backup of people around 3/3:30 (midday pickup coffee) but the line was moving right along. The woman who attended to me and my mother was very nice and helpful and guided us through some of the menu items. She was great! They are well-mannered and make the coffee/frap nicely. Well done!

Always friendly, always busy. I usually make this my stop between Charlotte and Charleston or Savannah. It's off the highway a couple of miles, but worth the stop. The employees are fast and friendly. The bathrooms are clean too.
