Not surprising, but they are busy as can be on a Saturday lunch. We had to wait a while for service and our food. Good news was it was worth it. Wife had biscuits and gravy with scrambled eggs and "peasant potatoes", and I had the breakfast burrito. Burrito was huge! Enough for two people. Really good! Don't bother with the mimosa, it was all juice.

I'll admit, the name "Le Peep" got us through the door. The food was OK, atmosphere just fine, but the experience wasn't something that'll bring us back. There are better places locally to fill this niche.

This was my first time eating at LePeep. The omelet was very good. The grits were good. I had to add salt and butter. The pancakes were below average. They had a weird consistency. The water was atrocious. It tasted like it was freshly dipped from a lake. They tried to mask the taste with lemon but failed epically. The gingerbread cappuccino was below average it had a very strong and offensive taste. Sort of like licking a hot car tire in the middle of summer. The server was nice but was a little slow.

Le Peep is one of the best breakfasts in town - so long as you're not looking for breakfast on a Sunday. After you're seated and order your cup of joe and a freshly squeezed OJ (thou shalt order these with thy breakfast), beware of the tantalizing "custard french toast." While it sounds pretty, it's not much better than something you could make at home. Instead, I direct your attention to the egg dishes. Specifically, the Dawn Breaker and Roma (thou shalt order an egg skillet). These are perfection. My only critique of Le Peep is (A) I wish they served Sunday brunch. It's hard to get there when you work and take off most weekends. (B) Acoustics. When it's crowded inside, it's a little loud. (C) Dry French Toast. If it were just a little more moist - it would be perfection!

Breakfast was above average. Took a while to get the food though. If you're not in a hurry, its cool.

I was really excited to hear a breakfast place was coming to the Vista. (Downtown needs more breakfast/brunch places!) But then I learned they aren't open on Sundays. What? I get we are in the South, but to serve the downtown brunch crowd, it seems ridiculous to be closed on the day you'd likely make the most money. Saturday brunch is popular too, but think of how many early birds, late risers and after-church clientele would come in on a Sunday. Especially since the best brunch restaurants open so late on Sundays. You could make a killing opening at 8 AM on Sunday downtown! What in the world are you thinking? How is your business not going under? (I drive by every Mon-Fri around 7:30 and the place is always dead, so I know weekdays likely aren't paying the bills either.) I will say the menu is expansive and I'd like to try more items, but once I learned it was closed on Sunday (our preferred day to go to brunch in my household), I changed my mind about going back.

Very good breakfast and generous portions. The kids menu was suitable for their taste. Would recommend.

Went here because of the offer on Groupon. Overall the place was pretty good, not the best, but I would go back. First, the service is amazing...my waitress made sure I had a pleasant experience. Also, they bring you a small pitcher full of water for you to refill your glass with (no more flagging a waitress down!). The food was pretty good. I got the club sandwich with fries. The sandwich tasted alright...the cheese was partly melted, but it was in the middle of the sandwich which had a pile if meat. It was also served in a pressed flatbread which tasted good. My only complaint was the fries tasted like they were frozen and could if been cooked for a few more minutes. I will differently go back for breakfast one morning.

First time here finallllyyy!! All of my friends have been talking about this place and how great it is! The wait was a little long for a table and the food, but overall it has been a pleasant experience. The portion sizes are generous, but the quality of the food is nothing fancy. The atmosphere is neat. I'll definitely be back again :)

I've been to another Le Peep location that's closer to my home, so I admit I had some expectations when I visited the new downtown location. I was pretty surprised and disappointed by the overall experience. + The food took at least a half-hour to arrive, a VERY long wait since it was all brunch food that cooks quickly and there were only five other parties in the restaurant. + My sister's pancakes had weird consistency and flavor, like there was too much baking powder in the batter. + My scrambled eggs and grits did not seem to be salted at all -- usually I end up adding a little more seasoning to grits, but this time I was really dumping on salt. + I ordered turkey sausages and got regular pork ones. + My nephew's burger meat seemed to be a frozen patty that had been microwaved until it was the consistency of shoe leather. The restaurant decor isn't terrible but it's underwhelming and actually pretty cramped. I was overall disappointed by the visit, and although our server was friendly, she wasn't able to make up for the generally poor food quality and kitchen speed. I left her a generous tip, but we won't be back to this Le Peep unless there's a drastic improvement.

I love this place, food is great, service is wonderful and the new location atmosphere is awesome. They have great breakfast entrees and the cappuccino is freshly made. What a gem to the downtown area. The owner and staff are very friendly and treat you like family. I love this place!

Such a cool little brunch place. Great atmosphere, friendly service, and a wide variety of food. I've had the Migas and the 18 Wheeler, both of which were absolutely delicious! Most of the dishes are priced between 7 and 12 dollars, so it is very affordable. Make sure and try their southern pecan coffee as well - it's excellent.

We had exceptional, speedy, friendly, and attentive service. Nice atmosphere. They have unique food offerings and all of our food was very tasty. I'd give it 5 stars, but the short hours (close at 2pm) isn't conducive to everyone's schedule.

So far its the best breakfast place to go in the Columbia area. It's small yet quant with good food, good portions, fast service. there is free parking in the back so only park on the street if you have to. I ate the Benedict and it was tasty. I will state that it loses a star bc the menu said it came with sauteed apples but I got a side of fruit salad. Husband got the three meat breakfast burrito which the sauce was like a Colorado chili sauce aka great. The waitress was nice but never refilled our water or noticed if we needed refills... We had to intercept her to get anything more than the original order. There busy so don't expect to hang for long. It seems they want you in then out... But ill be back again.

The breakfast burrito is almost enough to feed 3 people! Absolutely delicious, and an extensive breakfast menu that i will need to make multiple trips to in order to sample. Fair prices, nice atmosphere. Will definitely be going back!

Eeeek, why didn't anyone tell me Le Peep predominately served egg dishes? I know, I know, my fault for not knowing. Here's the thing: I visited for a late business lunch, and the last thing I wanted was an egg dish. I can leave a glowing review of everything else, though. I especially appreciated the small carafe of lemon water that is left on the table (and often refilled). Waitress service was prompt and the price was definitely right. I'd be happy to go again when I'm more mentally prepared for eggs. Count me in for a weekend brunch!

I have tried this restaurant now on two occasions both encounters have given me mixed opinions about the over all quality. First let me say the food is really good. I love eggs Benedict and theirs is delicious as is the lattes. My first visit was takeout and I was bothered by a lack of available items, we are out of hazelnut & vanilla syrup, and I didn't receive my sassy apples listed on the menu. This mornings visit left me bothered by the cleanliness of the restaurant as my family and I dined in. The bathroom was filthy I mean the mirror looked as if it hadn't been cleaned in a year with the amount of water spots and dust, the same went for the walls as they were streaked and caked as well. To add the garbage can was over flowing with paper towels. To get a high hair we had to try three to find one that worked which was exceptionally irritating as those too were caked and sticky with food so I guess I helped out as I had completely scrubbed down the first before realizing it didn't work and then cleaned the third as well. This morning we also didn't get the sassy apples so we asked why, the said they subbed fruit (2 grapes and a piece of honeydew) confused at this point why it's on the menu if they never serve it. Then she brings some to our table which we appreciated, but yuck they were cold raw watery apples with a weird flavor, cooked they would probably be good. Our service was also good. Again most of the food is better than average-melt in your mouth pancakes too. I am just very cautious of a restaurant that is dirty in view of the customer, what does the kitchen look like?

I've stopped here several times over the past few weeks as this location is convenient, food is decent, and the service are efficient and friendly. The parking lot in the back is a huge plus too. I've tried the White Lightening and the Chicken Crepes. Both are okay, nothing fantastic. Coffee is pretty good here.

Brunch was good here. A lot of tasty options on the menu. Get the fresh OJ. Parking lot is located in the back of the restaurant.
