Obviously, regular customers of Labrasscas Pizza have no reason to look on Yelp. Me? I wasn't sure of Sunday hours. Surprised to read any negative reviews. I have a taste for good quality food and atmosphere. A collection of good restaurants for me would be in Charleston SC or Charlotte NC for example. NOW LET ME SAY THIS IS THE BEST PIZZA IN SC AND ANY OTHER STATE I'VE TIRED PIZZA. I LOVE the crunchy crust and the sweet sauce. I'm not sure which is my favorite...cheese only or everything but anchovies. And you must order their cheese salad. This pizza is so good I order several UNCOOKED to take home because I live 1.5 hours away. Let me add, my brother lives in Mt. Pleasant SC and also buys uncooked pizza from Labrasscas to freeze. THIS IS THE BEST PIZZA. And yes the decor is out dated but that is what gives this place character!!!

Nothing too spectacular about this place. The interior does need to be updated and they were able to accomondate the large group of us that was there earlier this week. Service was fast given the amount of people in our party, and prices were reasonable (they even gave people in our group a 10% discount off our bills). Needs more parking as some people in our group needed to park in the shopping plaza next door.

NO NO NO! The cheapest frozen generic pizza in the dingiest supermarket on the east side of Russia is probably better than this crud! The crust has to be frozen? The cheese is the cheapest glob of crap ever, one molecule different from plastic! The sauce is fresh from the can...And the most egregious mistake- canned mushrooms! Who likes canned mushrooms on their pizza?? SKIP THIS PLACE! For about one third the cost here, you can head to the Pizza-Pizza guy and get a pretty basic peperoni pizza that far out shines this!

Growing up in Columbia, you're bound to hear about Labrasca's Pizza. For me, I grew up very close to the place, so my family would order pizza from this joint about every other Friday. It became a little tradition, and my brother and I have this place to thank for our future pizza addictions. The atmosphere is very classic, looks like nothing has really been changed from the 1960's, and I personally enjoy the old school decor with moderate changes made to the place. Dimly lit and relaxed, it's usually not packed out. You can have a quiet evening filled of conversation with friends, family, or your significant other with little to no distraction. Now onto the important part: the food. The quality is great. Labrasca's has it's "own" style. It's not New York style by a long shot, and I think that's why I dig it so much. The tomato sauce has a slight sweet taste to it, and the ingredients are always fresh. Pretty good beer selection with domestic and imports. Great prices for the beers on tap, as they range from $1.75 to $2. The service is good, and they keep up with their customers, making sure that you're good on everything. I haven't had delivery from Labrasca's in years, but I do remember them being quite fast. I really dig this spot, and to see it rated so low is kind of disappointing. One thing I've noticed about some people in Columbia is they are simply setting their expectations far too high from the beginning. Go into this restaurant and appreciate it for what it is. There are simply not enough classic spots left in Columbia, and I hope to see Labrasca's around for years and years to come.

Terrible, and I am very upset that I wasted 25.00 and ruined dinner, when I was so looking forward to it. How are you in business LaBrasca? Is this salad a joke? A half of a single slice of tomato as the ONLY ingredient and brown iceberg covered in shredded white cheese, of the rubber variety. If you can't handle making the item, or cannot for whatever reason be bothered to stock adequate fresh ingredients like a cucumber perhaps--all the more galling because you are across from both Whole Foods and Bi-Lo--then TAKE THE ITEM OFF THE MENU! I feel like taking the uneaten pizza I got from you and throwing it on the floor of your business, because you just ROBBED me of 25 bucks. THE PIZZA IS INEDIBLE. Again, if you can't handle buying some oregano, salt, REAL cheese, and something that tasted better than ketchup, perhaps containing garlic, you know, like pizza--THEN CLOSE YOUR DOORS. The crust was unchewable, a fork and knife won't cut it, because you have no olive oil in the pan, or anywhere near the building. I can't believe I listened to someone that may have last ordered from you 30 years ago. If this garbage tasted this bad then, I have to assume the recommender is psychotic. Money and time doesn't come easy these days, and you have ripped me off. I hope this gets through to someone in your establishment, and you either go out of business or figure out how to cook a frozen pizza from the grocery store. NEVER AGAIN, thanks for ruining my evening and taking 25.00 from me. Oh yeah, and the 'cannoli' may have been years old, hard as a rock. Disgusting.

Definitely a dive. Great "pizza" however, and I use quotes because it's a very different taste than what you expect from pizza. Whatever it is though, it tastes great. Killer sweet tea as well. As mentioned, if you're dining in, expect to feel like you've stepped back into the 1960s, otherwise, just do take out.

This place came highly recommended by a local that has lived here for decades. I love old mom and pop stores and restaurants and will go out of my way to purchase from them if they make or sell a good product. I was excited to drive up here as it reminded me of the New England pizza shops in Connecticut that I grew up going to with my grandparents. Staff were friendly enough and the place has character. Unfortunately, this is about the only positive thing I can say. I ordered a small salad and was literally brought a quarter wedge of iceberg lettuce with a quarter moon slice of tomato and some pizza cheese over the top. Huh? That's a salad? Ok, I came for pizza so that's where I'll focus. I opened the medium pie in it's to go box... excitement builds...I take a bite (which is over saturated with sauce)...and wow, this is the single worst pizza I have ever eaten. The sauce is so sugary it is virtually inedible unless you put it over ice cream. It's that sweet. The cheese is a cheap, rubbery blend that was undercooked and just slid around that sweet sauce. The crust was worse than the grocery store bought crusts that you bake yourself. Soggy, undercooked, no crunch, no taste, it was overall horrendous. The toppings were so covered with cheese and sauce that you couldn't taste them. Wow, did this pizza suck. After that first bite, the salad and the rest of the pizza went straight to the trash can and I ordered Dominos. Yes, that bad. How this place has survived serving this crap is beyond me even in Columbia. One reviewer said that expectations are too high. Really? If I pay $20 (or any amount) for food, I expect good quality or else I can go to CiCis and be better off for $6.99. Quite frankly, their pizza is better than Labrascas.

Horrible decor, but hey at least they have great shredded sausage (which is hard to find). The sauce is too sweat the pizza has to much cheese. Only thing besides the sausage is the crust similar to thin crust but a little thicker than you may be use to. With that said, it's a place that keeps you coming back, but you won't know why.

This place is a local landmark located just outside the base on Fort Jackson Blvd. Really, though, they need to update their suppliers because most of their toppings on their pizza are frozen or canned. Ugh... canned mushrooms on a pizza! It's so 1982. And really... you'd swear from the decor inside that it was still 1982. But the pizza itself is pretty good ok alright i guess, like a thin crust pizza. But, truly, try and stay away from the toppings that don't seem fresh and you'll be fine.

When I moved to Columbia people raved about this place. Since I have been struggling to find good pizza in Columbia I decided to give it a shot. The pizza is basically a frozen pizza with a hard crisp crust with cheese and toppings added. My husband and I were so excited to go to this place and we were really disappointed. I don't rate restaurants as low as I have rated this place. But I would not recommend this place to anyone who likes real pizza.

Went to pizza parlor on a Saturday evening. Place is a local legend in business for years. The place is dated. Has cheesy fake grapes on the wall. The wall has smoke stains from candles that used to burn. The tables have a tacky greasy feel to them. The carpet is a dingy dirty brown color that looks like it has Clorox stains. The pizza is worse then the decor, The crust is not made in house. It comes out of a plastic bag that is clearly visible when you walk in. The quality is horrible not in the same league as what you can buy at any grocery store. Low quality. The tomato sauce comes straight out of a can so you have that tin can taste. Mushrooms the same thing straight out of can. The cheese is also ver very low quality. Tastes extremely greasy

Labrasca 5 Pizza! What an adventure! I just had take-out, and I went to a place I have never been before! For starters, the texture of the crust was from another world. It was like a frozen crust but warmer. The sauce really would be "fantastic over ice cream." The cheese was definitely something. Lastly, eating the abundant toppings took me back to when my mom made me eat all my tuna helper.

Went there for the first time tonight and loved it! How did they fit all those toppings on the pizza and yet not make the crust soggy? I got sausage, onions, and mushrooms, and there was some of each in every bite that I took. It was delicious, and the crushed ice in my drink was also a plus!

I hate those people who say "the only good pizza is in (insert city where that person grew up)." I am not one of those people. Unfortunately for LaBrasca's, though, I do have taste buds. And standards. This place is pretty gross. The crust tastes like cardboard that's been frozen and thawed a hundred times. The cheese looks like rubber and tastes like nothing. The "meat" should have quotations around it on the menu. I'm all for supporting iconic establishments in town, so if you're literally starving and this is last place in town, you should definitely go there. Otherwise, you'll be happier somewhere else.

A Columbia Landmark. I've been eating here for over 40 years and have enjoyed every meal. The pizza is the best you will ever have, with sauce and ingredients spread all the way to the edge of the pie. The cheese salads are a great starter and big enough for two. The décor hasn't changed much since they opened and for some who think they need an update I would say it's like a comfortable, romantic & happy part of my life. Here's to another 40 years.

We had a Deal Saver and I thought, "Well, it's pizza, right? Even if it's bad, it's still pizza." Nopes. This is the exact same as elementary school cafeteria "food." There is not much to say that has not been said by others below. Everything associated with this is from a freezer, can, or box (the crust had the texture and non-flavor of the shelf-stable kind). Come on y'all, it's actually cheaper to produce better, handmade pizza - and this town is hungry for it!

Cheap, quick budget pizza. Its like eating a non-franchise Little Caesar's pizza, only with Little Caesars you are guaranteed to have diarrhea the next morning. While I prolly will never eat here again, even though it is close to home, it is worth noting that you can feed a family cheap here.

It's not for everyone I guess but it happens to be my favorite pizza in the world! Maybe it's a comfort thing or maybe it's the toppings that flow to the edge but I love it even more than most people I hold dear.
