This is not your ordinary fast food joint. One of the best hamburgers I have ever had. . . . at least top 5. French fries are great . . . and you get a ton of them. There were four of us and the person taking our order advised us we only get two orders of fries. They serve these things by the pound! Lots of toppings and the small burgers are plenty for the normal appetite. Big thumbs ups!

Five Guys was one of those places I'd always try to stop at when I was in/around Kannapolis so I was glad to see them brought to Columbia with the development of Sandhills (and also another location in West Cola). The regular burger is a double patty and can be too greasy for most stomachs so I would suggest getting the small burger if you plan on getting fries with it, which is going to be about three times more than you're expecting to receive... They have a decent variety of burger toppings but it can get a little messy trying out various combinations and getting carried away.

Great Burgers for great price. French Fries with cajun spice are great and very deliscious. Prices are very reasonable.

Not in my normal rotation, but pretty good to go to every once in a while. The prices are slightly high for the atmosphere and quality so it is best to go with multiple people so you can split the fries and save a little money. If you enjoy a messy burger with lots of toppings (I do!) then you will like this place. They have some toppings that most places do not offer and you can get as many toppings as you want. However, the main reason that I go to Five Guys is for the cajun fries. If you get them to sprinkle a bunch of extra cajun spice in your bag of fries they will be really good (or glorious in my opinion).

Eh.....so-so. I expected more from a burger only joint. The burger was fresh and tasty. I'm a scrawny lil guy and I destroyed the large burger and was still hungry. Not bad, but could have been better. HINT: purchase a beer license like Moe's.

Good burgers. You don't need to order the large one, however. The junior burger is plenty big. Fries? A small order will do you, as they seem to dump more fries in the bag than they do in the box.

The burgers and fries are so fresh and so yummy! A little burger is plenty big for any normal appetite. This isn't a gourmet burger place. They serve regular beef with regular type toppings. Delicious just the same though. My hubby and I normally split a regular order of fries and still have tons leftover. This isn't your average fast food joint, so the price reflects that. I hate that I make such a mess when I eat here, but the burgers are so good.

Tired of fast food that all taste the same? You clearly haven't been to this joint. They don't have much besides burgers and fries, but when your burgers are this good why bother with other food? At prices like this, you don't expect flavor, but Five Guys has plenty. The range of available toppings -- the standard sauces, but also sauted mushrooms/onions, peppers, pickles, lettuce tomato -- ensures that whatever your preference, you'll be satisfied. The beef tastes fresh and juicy, the toppings are awesome. Don't forget some fries on the side or you'll be missing out. Only warning: DO NOT GO IF YOU HAVE A PEANUT ALLERGY. The open-buckets of peanuts to snack on are great for most people, but could cause severe reactions to anyone allergic!

Five Guys has the best fast food burger in the business -- real meat, good-sized patties, tons of toppings to choose from. And, unlike some other places with fantastic burgers, the fries (both regular and cajun) at Five Guys don't disappoint.
