Save your money and go to Just Us in Cayce West Columbia... their burgers are better. The fries were okay, the burger was standard, the pickles were so sweet I had to take them off the burger, and the music was drowned out by the machine noises. Overall, not worth it.

My first time ever eating here. OMG the abundance of food you get is ridiculous. I got a bacon burger. It was huge, it had two patties of meat and bacon. Toppings are free and there were like 10 different toppings (b-bcue sauce, jalepenos, tomato, mayo, mustard, ketchup, and etc). I ordered regular fries and it seem like they must give you the whole pan of fries. The meal is enough for two. The wait wasn't that long. You do have the option of ordering online and picking up. I waited probably 10 mins and they call out your ticket number and you pick up your order. I watched as they prepared my order and I liked the fact they used gloves several times while I was watching. The staff was very nice and friendly. Inside: several tables and chairs scattered throughout. The staff kept it clean, someone was constantly sweeping the whole time I was there and it appeared spotless. I noticed that the refills were free too. They played 80s music. The walls was plastered with all the accolades they had received from newspapers and critics. Food: meat was well cooked and juicy. Fries fresh and hot and crunchy and not overly salty. After ordering I realized they sold cajun fries too. Con: Price. Its a bit pricey. My total price was $10 for burger ($6.30 and fries $2.75). I would go again but not frequently due to price.

Not sure what all the hype was about??? Its like paying for ribeye and getting a ground beef. No more than a fancy fast food place where you pay more money and have more toppings. It was not very filling nor satisfying for me sorry. Honestly I think I like Whataburger better....a lot better. The actual place is nice with a great outdoor seating area. Although there's a large full service car wash right next door its still a nice outdoor area.

I wish I could say more good things about this location, but it continues to disappoint. The smallest cheeseburger (and I couldn't taste the cheese) and fries and the small drink were $10. A lot of pay for the lack of everything. No dishes, no treys, very greasy fries and far from fresh, no paper cups for the ketchup, and music that was not my style and from very scratchy sound system. Even the tables and floor were far from clean. Burger competition is fierce, even Hardees now has good meat and delivers it to the table -- not Five Guys, you do most of the toting and fetching. The free peanuts are a plus, but I will be slow to return for the "food" .

Plusses: friendly helpful staff, simple menu, comfortable & clean dining area, free peanuts, good burgers and amazing french fries. Minuses: A bit expensive for what it is and their regular burgers are double stacks - 'juniors' are the exact same with only one patty. My son loves it, I am cool with it, it's an occasional fun treat for us once a month or so.

Grilled jalapenos - need I say more? Ok, then get a junior instead of a regular because it's cheaper and still wonderfully greasy and filling. This isn't the burger joint you go to when on a diet, but when you want a big bag of fries (better cajun) and a sloppy burger with your favorite toppings. Ask them to grill the jalapenos to bring out the flavor and mmm mmm mmm, enjoy. This location has outdoor seating and a parking lot, and it's at a convenient intersection in Forest Acres. Be careful backing out of your spot, as I saw a fender bender in the lot once.

good, but not super impressed. tastes like a burger i can make at home. i'd go back if i had a burger craving. the only reason i went was because i was told that this was the closest you can get to in 'n out on the east coast, but it wasn't even close! the prices were way too high for what you got... you had to pay for the burger, fries, and your drink separately, so our bill came out to almost $20 for 2 burger combos. the only cool thing about the place is that you can order what you want on your burger and they have some toppings that you wouldn't normally find at mcdee's or burger king.

Not in my normal rotation, but pretty good to go to every once in a while. The prices are slightly high for the atmosphere and quality so it is best to go with multiple people so you can split the fries and save a little money. If you enjoy a messy burger with lots of toppings (I do!) then you will like this place. They have some toppings that most places do not offer and you can get as many toppings as you want. However, the main reason that I go to Five Guys is for the cajun fries. If you get them to sprinkle a bunch of extra cajun spice in your bag of fries they will be really good (or glorious in my opinion).

Fast service, clean, friendly staff, weather didn't allow us to sit outside but looked like plenty of space. Only negative thing was small parking lot size.

Terrible Customer service. It will be a long time before I come back to Five Guys. I have loved this place before today's encounter. Management needs to step up. I look forward to speaking with the local district manager in reference to this event.

Five Guys burgers can be a disappointment for the true critic. The fact is that the burgers are cooked fresh and more toppings can be added to your burger such as mushrooms and grilled onions for the same price. You can definitely taste a difference in the meat when compared to other fast food chains. But for the price you pay here, you're still better off dining at the other fast food restaurants. (*GASP!* NO HE DIDN'T JUST SAY THAT... well, yes, I did) The cheese placed onto the meat patty is PROCESSED CHEESE! This is a cardinal sin when you're charging a premium for fine quality burgers. You absolutely must have a better cheese than processed American singles as your only option for those of us who have the money to pay for TOP QUALITY burgers. I truly was disappointed. As soon as I took the big bite of this otherwise delicious burger, the gaudiness of the processed cheese overwhelmed me. It drowned out the the burger's higher qualities. I highly recommend switching the cheese. There are so many cheese options to choose from such as Swiss, Mozzarella, Münster, Provolone, Cheddar just to name a few! I seriously doubt I ever will dine here again unless they upgrade their cheese. Meanwhile, I'll stick to my go-to quick fix lunch at Chipotle when I'm in need of real flavor without processed food. Sorry to sound so negative on this one, but I won't give a good rating to an establishment that charges premium for second-rate ingredients... (processed cheese--you kidding me??? ew!!)

Very good burgers, but limited options. The only cheese in the house is American. No guacamole or avocado, but their ingredients are very fresh. They make a great burger, but if you order cheddar, they'll say "okay" then just give you American. That's almost worth dropping them another star, but they really do know how to cook a burger. I'm not a fan of the fries personally (I much prefer Smashburger's shoestrings), but there's nothing objectively wrong with them.
