Had some bad experiences with this Jimmy Johns but the other day is a new low. Ordered two sandwiches, which takes well over a half hour (chose JJ bc they are "quick") to get there. Kid brings one sandwich and tries to tell me I only ordered one. I show him the order and he says he'll be right back with the missing food. Never comes back, and when I call the manager because I'm sick of waiting he has no idea that the sandwhich didn't come. Good thing I called bc it wasn't coming.

By-far my favorite JJ's of the dozen or so locations that I've visited. Great location on CofC's beautiful campus. If the weather's nice, take your sandwich to the gardens just across the street, or the picturesque Cistern Yard on the corner of George & St. Philip. Try the wheat bread!

I would probably give the food itself 3 stars but they get an extra star just for the fact that they can deliver my food in under 5 minutes from the time I place my online order. I honestly don't know how they do it. My office is 12 blocks away (yes, I'm a dork and just googled it) and even Google says that it takes 5-6 minutes to get here by bike. I've been consistently ordering from them for a couple of years now and it hasn't always been quite that speedy but the last two deliveries have blown.my .mind. The food isn't amazing but it's good enough that it tends to be my go to when I'm too lazy to walk a couple doors down to pick up food. I usually get the Vito or the Turkey Tom without the tom, a bag of BBQ chips or a dill pickle. Their cookies aren't bad either. I do not like the Tuna sub, though. That's a mistake I'll only make once. One thing that kind of annoys me is that they don't deliver for free and you probably wouldn't notice it because they don't charge a delivery fee. Instead they just hike up the online prices of each item. It took me a while to notice that and it kind of rubs me the wrong way. I get that a lot of places charge delivery fees but usually a good portion of that goes toward the price of gas. So between the extra built-in costs and tip, I end up paying close to 50% more than if I went into the shop. Still, it's cheaper than most places downtown but you guys are pretty sneaky, Jimmy Johns.

Went here on a Sunday afternoon. Ordered a turkey sub with avocado. The sub had so little avocado that I had to check under all the meat and cheese to see a whisper of some kind of avocado spread. On another note, the music was so loud you couldn't hear the person sitting across from you or anything else. It was some kind of crappy dance music and it was beyond annoying. I will never ever go back there because everything about this place sucked. Worst lunch downtown I have had in a long time. Hate hate hate hate this place!!!!

Seriously the fastest place to get a sub in the universe. I'm a big fan of the Ultimate Veggie sub there. It's fast, it's fresh. The bread is okay. Some of the employees are young college kids and act like it.

Jimmy Johns is a go-to place for me. I pick up & order a lot and they deliver SO quickly. I'll place an order on my computer and before I even realize they are at the door. I love the Italian nightclub sandwich. This JJs is always friendly fast & good!

Not a big fan. Got a Beach-walker sub and besides them forgetting to make it as I stood there and waited, the sub came out with enough mayo to make egg salad! It totally ruined my sandwich.

Old style deli sandwiches fast! The only negative I can think of is that they only have provolone cheese. They claim they'll even deliver one sandwich nearby. Parking is cheap and close. And wow the bread - it was awesome. I had never heard of this place but tried it because it was convenient to my hotel in Charleston. But now I'm searching for JJ's nearby where I live. Top notch sub - great job. Also loved the funny signs on the wall you can read while eating.

I work downtown and we order a lot from jimmy johns. They are always very fast and we have never had a problem with them getting our orders wrong, even when ordering for a crowd!

Jimmy John's really is freaky fast. I work downtown and get it delivered for lunch fairly regularly. My coworkers have a sort of informal tally on how quickly they can deliver sandwiches. Someone swears they made it to the office in 4 minutes. Crazy. The only time I had an issue was on a rainy day. It took about an hour. I called the manager and complained and was given a refund plus some coupons for future orders. The food is good considering the price and the short wait time, plus the convenience of delivery. Not the best sandwiches in the world, but a great option for your work lunch break when you realize you've left your lunch on the counter at home. :)

Not here to bash Jimmy John's they are consistently good when dining in. The sandwiches here taste great, however, the coverage area of their delivery service is quite the opposite. I expected more from an establishment located in the middle of the city. 4 stars if delivery area is increased.

Normally I would give Jimmy Johns 5 stars but apparently they don't understand light ice or customer service as David hung the phone up on me twice. When you say you're going to redeliver something it should not take an entire hour for a delivery person to return.
