We want coffee and they have locked their doors 15 minutes before the posted 7pm closing. Nonsense!

I went to this dunkin donuts feeling very sick with food poisoning. There was a young lady working there by the name of Jackie and she went out of her way and helped me the best she could and by recommending hot green tea. It just goes to show that people still have a heart and thank you for the great Southern Hospitality Jackie.

I'll have the Great One with cream and sugar please!!! Probably one of the more interesting Dunkins I've been to in terms of location. There is an entrence on Meeting Street. If you're not paying attention, you'll fly right by it if your looking while driving - the sign is hanging and you are liable to not see it. All that aside, you peel away the brick outside, it's a good old, American Dunkin Donuts on the inside. All of your locals are there.. Why? because its a cheap and damn good cup of coffee. I liked the sofa's on the inside with the big plasma. I've been to many with TVs but that was by far the largest one I've seen at these establishments. Kinda cool. Everyone who served us was really nice too. As, of course, this is Charleston, parking is a pain in the butt.. Just find where ever and walk. Easier directions for finding this place: picture yourself at the corner of Meeting and Market. Head AWAY from Broad Street/the Battery. It's on the right side up about one block.

This is a weird Dunkin. I wanted some Dunkin before church today (my church is on Meeting Street so right down the street). Despite living here for a year and a half and going to that church for quite some time, I never realized this Dunkin was here. It really needs better signage. It's almost inside the Bank of America with two entrances which is a little confusing. As far as the drink and service, it really wasn't that great. The line got pretty backed up and it took awhile for them to make the drink, very weak coffee too. Much, much, better coffee options downtown...

After spending the last four years in a place that has no Dunkin' Donuts, and three years with off-and-on exposure before that, I really cherish every Dunkin' Donuts experience I have. Don't believe me? You should read my review about a Dunkin' Donuts I went to earlier this summer in Scottsdale. A few years ago we went to Boston, which is, of course, Dunkin' Donuts central. We love their breakfast sandwiches as a fast and consistent cheap meal, and you can see that seeking out Dunkin' Donuts is apparently central to our travel plans. So with that in mind, picture how much it pains me to give 2 stars. Everything just wasn't right with this one. It's in a busy area of town, but I've been to my share of urban Dunkin' Donuts when I worked in Chicago. This one was strange. You enter through some bizarre lobby and wait in a line that's entirely too long. They had a big plasma screen TV with the Today show (or perhaps Good Morning America, I forget), blasting. Really, at Dunkin' Donuts? And the counters were really high, which is probably a weird criticism to give to a place that is probably forced into certain height counters in the name of corporate identity, but it made me feel really tiny. But those oddball complaints aside: it just wasn't good. And it's not a case where memory outweighs reality - impossible, since I just had Dunkin' Donuts two months ago. There was nothing clearly wrong that warranted sending the breakfast sandwich back, but it just lacked flavor. Completely. And even though we face Dunkin' Donuts withdrawal for an indefinite period of time, we did not go back during the following days of our vacation. It was that bland, and I am that heartbroken! ;)

New location in downtown. Same great Coffee and Donuts. One of very few cheap breakfest places in the downtown
