I have never had worse service in my life. I use to work and manage in food and bev and this experience last night was unbelievable. When the server came to the table, she didn't even greet up, simply asked what we wanted to drink, ok that's fine whatever. We ordered spinach and artichoke dip, bowl of chili and a bbq panini with the slaw on the side rather than on the sandwich how it came and also with a side of chips. It took at least 20 mins of the dip to come out, whatever we were not in a hurry. Then the soup and panini come out, no spoon for the soup and no silverware for the messy bbq panini - about 5 mins later my mom gets her spoon, by that time I already ate half of my panini, that by this point I still have not received my side of chips or the slaw. 10 mins into the mean chips come out, then as I am almost done with the panini she brings the side of slaw, finally - but what does she want me to eat it with my hands because I still have no silverware. My mom put her credit card on the end of the table for the waitress to take, takes her about 15 mins to figure out that we are done she sees the card and says "Do you want me to bring the paper out first" paper as in the bill - no run the card and get us out of here already!! Working in f&b can be hectic sometimes, but she was not the only waitress and they were not even full! Food was ok, but I will never return because she was absolutely terrible!!!! My mom said she felt bad for the tip she left because she has never left that s***y of a tip, but I could not let her tip more than 18% - AWFUL! Brooke, I really don't think food and bev is for you!

Sat down waited 20 min. no one around us had food. Walked out after 45 min. Server was nice though.

Always a good time there. Huge Eagles fanbase but I always go on sundays repping my J-E-T-S JETS JETS JETS!!! Awesome wings

We came here for brunch; my husband got chicken and waffles and I got French toast - both amazing! Also ordered some fried zucchini since I have a hard time passing it up, and it was probably some of the best I've had. Big portions, and the breading was flavorful and perfectly fried.

Went there on a hotel recommendation and was less than impressed. Decent beer selection but dark and smelled of stale smoke inside. The food was ok at best, and the barely old enough to drink and overly loud guys at the bar were the nail in the coffin. I won't be back, so many better places in the area!

Too many bikers, avg food. Slow service. Just another chain of Applebee's with a regional taste (Philly). The serves seemed overwhelmed on a Tuesday at 630 when the place was half full.

Not wanting typical chain fare we spotted this place on the way Charleston from Savannah on US 17 just south of town. It appeared to be a local joint and is. We ordered up a order of Buffalo Tater tots and they were very good and spicy with a side of bleu cheese dressing. The only down side was they got soggy pretty quick. My Mrs. had a cheddar cheeseburger to big to eat and the Carolina pulled pork sandwich which was also to big to eat but both were delicious and sadly had to leave the left over as we were traveling. If your ever heading north on 17 make sure to stop and eat with many craft brews available.

The wings were good. The nachos were horrible and cheese fries were subpar. But the waitstaff were friendly and there are plenty if tvs so it is a great place to watch sports and hang out with friends.

4 separate occasions, different times of day, mid-week and weekend... Not a good experience. Wrong orders, having to wait for new one, server makes us feel bad about it. Uncomfortable! Food not coming how we'd requested/specified (no cheese, condiments on the side, well done, no ice in my drink please, forgotten order/appys... All ignored). And, when we voiced our concern, getting brushed off instead of offering to fix it is NOT cool in my books, AND expected to pay for the mistakes we didn't eat! Nearly empty place on one occasion, we asked the TV in front of us be on a specific channel/sports game (no one else watching) but told "no", sorry... Moments before that, the channel was changed on that very same TV. (Really?! Every pub I've ever been in, this wouldn't have been an issue!) Smokers immediately outside the doors, so everyone enter/exiting had to breathe it in. Dirty in general. More specifically & notably, the bathroom and our table. Wings were dry, tiny, cold, gross... Needless to say, we've given up on this place. Not recommend.

A sports bar bar thats a little on the dive side of the restaurant spectrum. I tried some wings and their fries. They have some great hand cut fries that were seasoned well and a nice mixture of soft on the inside, crispy on the outside. I tried their teryiaki wings (grilled) and their hoisin and honey wings. I like having the option of getting a wing grilled, however these didnt turn out like I would have wanted them to. The sauce had a great flavor the but the wings were a bit on the rubbery side, I think the girll could have been hotter to get a better grilled flavor. I was really looking forward to the hoisin and honey wings, as that is a flavor combo I could get behind. However, what I got looked terrible. The hoisin left the wings looking like they were burned. Luckily they didnt taste burnt, but they were really lacking any depth of flavor. The wings ended up being extra crispy honey wings. The wings were not bad, but I would try some different flavors next time and avoid grilled wings. I would come back to try some of their sandwiches, I know my wife really enjoyed her salad.

This place is a solid little neighborhood sports bar with really good wings and a really good bar and Grill type of menu it's got plenty of TVs in the staff is pretty cool and super local and quirky and the hold the core of the place is pretty fun and funky I would give it foreign a half stars if possible what keeps it from being five stars is it can be a little bit pricey I think for the neighborhood type of feel and the bathrooms can certainly use a remodel

We returned to this place from eating here during a previous vacation. It is a little divey but the service and the food was really good. We had fried pickle spears, wings and fries. All was very delicious! The server was very attentive! I would highly recommend!

Okay so I came back even after being "food disappointed" and had a really great meal! The Cuban sandwich is delicious! It takes the place of ms roses Cuban sandwich on my top Cuban sandwich list! And usually my food disappointment overshadows the rest of the experience at places but today I was really able to appreciate the rotating craft beer selection they offer. I'm a changed woman.

Nice cozy bar style restaurant. Awesome wings and the side salad is loaded and very good. Busy on Friday nights. If you love wings, you have to come here!

Very good wing shack. I am local and tried all the wings in charleston... This by far is the best! Try the magic dust or lemon pepper. Great buffalo sandwich and fried mushrooms! Good beer selection too.

Great sports bar...great location, great service and even better selection of finger lickin wings! I loved the atmosphere and friendly staff. Get the Hoisen wings...different but oh so good!

D.D. Peckers is a sports bar. There are a number of dips to wet your appetite and the tradition beer selections to choose from. You can watch games on the patio or inside and have a few beers. You can even pair beer and jagermeister. What more can you want. It is a very casual setting and if you are from the Philly area, this is your bar. They are big, big fans of the Eagles, Flyers, Phillies and more. Bring your appetite or thirst and watch some sports at this nice sports bar right on Savannah Highway in West Ashley. You can always go to Chik Fil A if you are still hungry right next door.

The Hoisin Honey wings tasted good and was a different flavor than what I am uses to in other wing places. Had plenty of tvs and the atmosphere was a good one for the US vs Germany game. The service is what caused the three star. It wasn't packed and I got checked on but she only asked as she was walking not even stopping as she talked. Kinda seemed as if I was an ex boyfriend that she disliked, but I am from out of town so that wasn't the case. The food came out slightly longer than expected also, but I was fine with that. Another woman took my payment at the end of my time there. She seemed to have better customer service skills but I got the pleasure of having the unpleasant one.

Good cheesesteak in a cool little dive bar. Nice staff with a little outdoor scene. Cool decor on the walls. Lots of old album covers.

For over three years I've always wanted to stop in and try some of their wings but since I live on the "other" end of Charleston and don't travel Savannah Highway much, I always forget about the place. Today I decided to check them out since I'm tired of Kickin' Chicken and didn't want to put up with the hassles of downtown by going to Wild Wing Cafe. That was mistake #1. The place is a dive, which I guess is cool to some people. I mean hey, I live dives too. Some of the best food I've ever ate was in some dive bars/restaurants. #2 should have been all the flies flying around inside but again, I over looked it. After 6 minutes of sitting in a booth by myself with 7 other patrons in the restaurant (4 at the bar and myself and three others at tables), I'm finally greeted by my server who takes my drink order and brings me a menu. Again, I get it, it's a dive, but there's something to be said when a restaurant uses a black Sharpie to strike through items on the menu that are no longer available. I ordered 15 wings and some fries and waited. And waited. And waited. And waited. And waited. It took 43 minutes to deliver my food. I had my drink refilled once by the server who had a phone stuck to her ear. By the way, my drink was refilled at about the 40 minute mark of waiting around for my food. The wings were terrible. I ate three and felt the acid reflux unsettling my stomach. The fries were soggy although there were a couple that were salvageable. My server again became MIA and I had to approach the bartender in order to get my check and to go boxes. It took another 8 minutes to bring me my check and boxes so if I was on a strict time constraints, I would have been screwed. By the way, I figured I would at least give the wings another go around once I got home and share some with my wife. One bite and we both were done. Nothing like spending $20 to throw food in the trash. Horrible. Do not waste your time or money.

Service was excellent, very friendly. Got our food in a timely maner. The honey wings were amazing, Looks chard but not at all. Good amount of meat on the wings. Overall enjoyed the place very much.

The bar atmosphere and background music were the positive points. The food not so much. Ribeye special overcooked and buffalo wrap not good. May have ordered badly but just not good. Used a groupon so it was worth trying but not worth paying full price at all.

The wings, onion rings, burger and fries were all excellent. Waitress very friendly and service was great also. Will be back again before we leave Charleston.

Being in the military and from Philly every new base I am stationed at I am always on the lookout for a Philly bar in the surrounding area. DD Peckers is a supporter year round of all philly sports but has the best turnouts for the Eagles on Sunday. The owner leads the customers in Fly Eagles Fly when Philly scores and sometimes offers free shots on big scores. As for the food, I enjoy it they have a lot of Philly favorites notably the Philly Cheese steak whiz wit and Schmitter. I haven't had the wings because of the taste of home that I can't get enough of here in SC. Beer's are cheap... they have a few brews that are unique which are a nice change from the usually domestic favorites. I gave this place a five star but there may be a little bias there on my part.

Oh man....I was thrilled to learn there was a DD Peckers in Charleston. I am originally from Charlotte and always enjoyed the food, ambiance and service at the one in Pineville. I was sadly disappointed with my visit. We arrived on a Saturday afternoon. There were no customers inside and a handful of scraggly looking people outside chain smoking. We opted to sit outside and enjoy the weather. I'm not one to turn down a cigarette every once in a while but the heavy smoke was offensive. We each ordered wings in 4 different flavors. The wings were extremely small, dry, overcooked and the flavors were bland and disappointing. Not what I remember from my experiences in Pineville. The service was horrible and we had to go inside to track our waitress down for more drinks and napkins after waiting about 10 minutes after our food was served. We tried to order drinks when the food arrived but the waitress just sat the food down and ran back off inside. We won't return.

Food poisoning is never worth the meal. Had the tex-mex salad last night and it was fine but I've been extremely sick since. Service was terrible out on the patio. We had to find our server to order 25 minutes after we arrived and the restaurant was dead. This experience has cost me a day of work and wasted money.

This is a really cool divey-sports bar in the area, as I don't think there are too many out in the West A. They have a lot of weekly specials and their prices are not bad at all. Now, onto the grubs... The magic dust dry rub wings were true to their name and full of magic. It's like a combo of sweet and spicy seasonings with maybe a small hint of Old Bay or something. I can't be positive on that, but I do know that I will dream about that ish until our next encounter. Their pizzas had a great home-made flavor, I believe the dough is from a bakery in the plaza behind D.D.'s. Will definitely be back!

Passing my this place on the way to my hotel, I noticed the name. And no, it isn't a competitor to Hooters. It is a local neighborhood bar/grill. My server was very helpful in describing some of the various sauces, as I wanted something with a little hot, but not enough to bring me to tears. I selected the Hot Gold (spicy mustard) on my buffalo chicken sandwich and ordered as a side the cheesy grits. Got to love grits as a side! Hot Gold was a good selection as it had just enough kick to it. Cheesy grits were great. Server was polite and cordial. The persons that own this place are from PA, so the walls have a lot of PA sports themed items.

Wings were decent though I'd try a different flavor next time. The beer was cold and that's what counts. Make's for a good spot to watch a game. Service was sub-par, waitress didn't come around very often. Meh.

This place must get better the drunker you get. The place was a little run down, the wait staff was awful. The food was not good. I don't get the appeal.

DD Peckers is one of my favorite places to hang out. The wait staff is GREAT. Shannon and Katherine are very nice ladies who always make the perfect recommendations for me. The drinks are inexpensive, I love the music, and they make me special plates since I don't eat meat, which means a lot.

Went there last night, half of pizza night and grabbed a decent pizza for $5 and a couple of beers, bill came to about 16 after tip, not a bad dinner and hang out.

Caught them overcharging my debit card. No apologizies. Would not let me speak to manager or owners. Woman on phone was rude, dismissive and insulting. Claimed it was their standard policy to overcharge on cards until final charges calculated. Yeah, right.

Delicious wings. I love all of their sauces and they just pour it on the wings, which I love. My favorite part is the selection of quality beers and micro-brews, which constantly varies. The service is usually pretty good, too. I really want to rate this place higher, but there are two things that prevent me from doing that. The first is parking. The parking lot is small and often gets full, although there usually is ample space in the surrounding lots. The second is the wave of smoke that tends to seep through the door whenever someone walks in from the outside dining area, which is a pretty big deal for me.

I've sampled a lot of the wing joints here in Charleston and these guys have got to have the best (get 'em extra crispy!). You can never go wrong with the Hot Ranch wings. Sign up for their newsletter they send monthly. They almost always include great coupons (drink specials, free entrees, $5 off your meal). These coupons keep us coming back - not to mention the great staff! This is truly a local, neighborhood joint with an awesome outdoor patio - though the patio can often get a little overhelmed by the smokers out there. Tons of flat screens everywhere - inside and out! Did I mention homemade desserts?!?!

d.d. peckers was recommended to me because I am a beer guy from Philly. It's a sports bar run by two guys from Philly. They have a good beer selection (with some beers from their home town.. Victory, Weyenbacher). They make great wings (get them re-grilled) and a respectable cheesesteak. If you are from Philly, it's a great place to go catch an Eagles game. Did I mention, order your wings re-grilled! They deep fry the wings, sauce them, and then put them on a grill to crisp them up and add some char. Very tasty.

The wings were great, the Philly on the other hand.... Not so much. I'm a cheesesteak snob so I'm pretty critical when judging them. The meat was a bit dry, and the cheese/onion ratio was off.... Atmosphere was decent and our server was great. I'll def go back!

A local rustic bar room setting. I loved the atmosphere, the food was awesome, the prices fair the servers and customers were friendly. I highly recommend this place for a fun place to watch a game with friends or family.
