Pleasantly surprised with how good the pasta was. Wings were also great. Good honey mustard sauce! Will order again for sure.

They SAID it was Lasagna....NOT ! throwing some pre cooked lasagna pasta and pre cooked ingredients in a plastic bowl with waaaaaay to much, seriously over seasoned, canned, hearty marinara sauce, is NOT lasagna. And it was BADDDDDD ! The "garlic bread" was the equivalent of a McDonald's bun. I won't bother with this restaurant again.

We ordered Buck's for delivery, and it was delicious! They delivered in about 30 minutes, and we were able to order online. We ordered the following and were 100% satisfied: 1) 10 mild wings --delicious, perfectly cooked 2) personal veggie Stromboli---just the right size for one person and perfectly priced!!! 3) small meaty Stromboli--big enough for two with 5 meats! 4) small chef salad-large portion, 3 meats included We were amazed at the quality and quantity of food and so thankful it was delivered. I highly, highly recommend this spot!

While I felt bad for the delivery person after an hour and a half wait, (which I was told would be 45 min) our food was delivered Luke warm. I called to check in multiple times and was put on hold each time and no one returned to the call after 8 minutes each time of holding. I will NEVER use a Bucks again. Worst experience ever.

After a flight from hell, we got into Charleston at 1:00aam. We were starved and had no other options for food. After reading other reviews, I was hesitant to order, but was so hungry I did t care what I got. Delivery time was faster than they estimated, and the pizza was a pretty standard delivery pizza. I did not expect anything fancy, so I was pleased with what I got.

It's pizza. It's delivery. You can't really expect a lot. However I do expect my pizza to arrive within 30 minutes after I receive an email saying it's out for delivery......nope it took over an hour and I literally live 15-20 min away from this place. Just don't send the email out that early! On top of that I was upset that I didn't get any garlic dipping sauce and the lady said every pizza came with one. :( When the delivery guy came he forgot my drink and receipt in the car. No big deal. Then he came back with just the receipt. Looks at me and says he'll be back. Comes back finally with the drinks. Everything OK??? Sidenote: He was very nice and polite! I'll probably order from them again on a lazy night. Only because 1) I'm lazy and 2) the food is not that bad.

The low reviews on Yelp are correct. My husband and I were in Charleston for our honeymoon. We were too lazy to go out and decided to order from this dump. Out of the places that we had ordered food from. This was the absolute worst. I do not mind paying more for good food. In their case, they should pay us to eat this tripe. If you are ever tempted to order from here. Don't. Order from here if you like lousy food, long wait for delivery and high prices. Save your money and order from somewhere else.

I am from the hometown of where Bucks pizza started and it's been one of my favourite pizza places since I was a kid! Glad to see it down south! I live in Myrtle Beach, but frequent Charleston many times a year. I'll be sure to stop in next time I'm down!

Good food but the wait for it is ridiculous. They NEVER take less than an hour even when you come pick it up they make you wait while they make it.. We ordered our food over an hour ago and I'm waiting here now while they make it bc it was supposed to be delivered 15 minutes ago.. This happens EVERY time

Probably the shitest pizza in my entire life. I was starving when we ordered it and could barely mussel through the first slice. I hate giving bad reviews but they obviously haven't tried to improve after all the bad reviews on here. Spare yourself and just get Papa Johns....anything else. P.S it took over an hour to get to us.

The pizza from Buck's puts Chuckie Cheese into the gourmet category. This pizza is garbage. Better to unthaw a Totino's. If you are totally desperate and starving to death, pass on this pizza.

Horrible first (and last) experience with this place. We like to mix it up every now and again with our Pizza orders so we thought we would give this place a try. We ordered one small pie and a medium pepperoni Stromboli. It took them 2 hours to make it and deliver it. An unbelievable time frame. Had they cared enough to let us know we would've just canceled and tried them again another time but unfortunately they don't care and won't get a repeat customer. The icing on the cake is when we called to find out if they were still coming the guy on the phone was laughed at us. There are too many better pizza places in town to even consider trying this place. Stayyyy away! You've been warned.

This place isn't that bad! I have been going here for a long time and the worst I have had is only the time they take to make it! The employees are sweet.....well the majority of the employees are sweet! And the manager is a good friends! He is very nice and funny!

  • Ali S.

Not too bad. We got our pizza on time unlike Many reviewers. Pizza is nothing amazing but they were the only place that delivered at 2 am. Given the options ( which were none) I was happy with the pizza.

Should have read the Yelp review first. Took an hour and 45 minutes to deliver one pizza and one sub to an address less than 10 minutes from the shop. On a Monday night in July. Called in at 745. Called and spoke to the manager, he made it sound like it was the delivery guy's fault. Delivery guy apologozed and blamed it on the shop. Don't really care who's at fault, just find is ridiculous that it would take that long. AND THEN, the food was marginally warm at best and of no better quality than we could have gotten at Papa John's or Domino's (oh for the days of the 30 minute guarantee.) Do yourself a favor: Save time, money, and frustration and just order from one of the chains.

I ordered a couple of items for delivery because I got into my hotel late and didn't feel like traveling out again that evening. Cheeseburger pizza - it was delicious. Good sauce and crust. Hamburger was not greasy. Bacon. Cheese. Yum!! Hot garlic boneless wings - again very good! For delivery pizza and not a chain? Delivery was fast. Food was as expected. I would eat here again.

You can't BELIEVE the awful experience we had! We are military in town visiting and ordered from our hotel for delivery. They stated 45 min to 1 hr. 3 calls and over 2 hrs later we got a cold hard pizza delivered. The manager wanted to give us 5 dollars off after over 2 plus hrs waiting! My husband was ticked and after significant back and forth they gave us half off for cold old food. Being military we have had interesting pizza experiences around the country but this one takes the cake! Don't order if you want it hot or in less than a few hrs from when you order it!

Horrible service very very slow delivery & sub par food. What else can I say? We ordered delivery at around 1130pm it gets here at 1:00am. They got 2 of 5 items right and said we'd have all the correct items in 15mins. 2:12am it arrives.... All of them have sorry attitudes don't waste your time with this place!

My husband and I got pizza here on our first night in Charleston. We just moved in and wanted to order a pizza because we were exhausted from the move. We had coupons in the welcome packet from the rental company, so we decided to try this place out (not knowing what our options were, really). We got one pizza and an order of 6 cookies for a very reasonable price. The pizza wasn't horrible for the price, but it took an hour and a half to get it delivered. Reheated, it was pretty bad, it tasted like a cheap pizza (Little Caesar's) dressed up with a few toppings. It was cheap, but I guess we got what we paid for. We discovered South of Philly so probably won't have Buck's again.

Had the worst pizza in my entire life from Buck's. We called for delivery which was late and cold and tasted like cardboard. I had a coupon (which is why I decided to try them) and when I got the receipt they didn't give me the discount. Thoroughly disgusted and will not be a repeat customer.

There is nothing good I can say about the meal I had delivered by Buck's Pizza. I was a total waste of money.

This was, without a single shred of doubt, the worst pizza I have ever had. They said delivery would take 45 minutes. It did not. After an hour and a half, I was brought up room-temperature pizza, spaghetti, and caesar salad. The pizza tasted like bottom-of-the-barrel pizza chain pizza. The crust was tough, dry, and flavorless, the sauce was obviously from a can (and not the good stuff), and the cheese was bland and rubbery. There was a pool of reddish water at the bottom of the container of canned spaghetti that resembled public school spaghetti, the sauce was separated into chunks and water, and the meatballs tasted store-bought and rubbery. The caesar salad was basically a container of iceberg lettuce with a handful of croutons from a bag, and prepackaged dressing on the side. At least the lettuce wasn't wilted!

Holy hell, this might be the worst pizza I've ever had. I only ordered from here because my regular place was out of dough (what the what?!). All we got was the xl pizza with meatballs and mushrooms and a garden salad. The salad was large, but the lettuce was aging, to put it nicely. And the pizza...where do I begin? The dough seemed like it was possibly pre-made and tasted like chewy white bread. Sauce tasted like it came from a jar and the cheese wasn't anything special. Mushrooms came from a can and lacked flavor. Meatballs were alright. Not only will I take my Pizza Friday business elsewhere, but I encourage you to do the same!

I would definitely recommend finding something ANY better. This is less than bowling alley quality pizza. Not to mention is was all on one side of the box when it arrived to the room. :-( sorry it couldn't have been a great review but it is what it is.

Mmmm, Buck's Pizza. You were a sinfully tasty treat. I was in Charleston, stranded, because our car broke down after a trip and the guy working the hotel desk suggested this place as a good delivery option. I like trying local places, so this worked out well for me. The menu had a lot of items on it, and it had a coupon for a large 2-topping pizza and 12 boneless wings for $17.99. I thought that was a definitely reasonable price considering the amount of food, so we ordered away. The guy on the phone had no idea whether or not the Thai sauce was spicy, so that was a little odd and is one reason why I'm docking this place a star. You don't even know your products?!?! That wasn't a good sign. Anyway, we ordered a large pepperoni and mushroom pizza and half our wings Thai, half honey BBQ. They said it would take an hour, and it did. To my surprise the delivery kid brought it right up to our room, which was nice, not having to trek down the elevator and whatnot. However it did end up being around $25 after a $3.00 delivery charge and tip. Good thing we had that coupon! Now on to the food itself. DELISH! This was some seriously tasty pizza. The sauce was flavorful and so were the toppings. Sometimes I feel like mushrooms can be small and tasteless, but here they are wonderful. The wings were also sauced perfectly and flavorful. And note, the Thai is NOT spicy, just good asiany flavory. I was a big fan. We had a ton of leftovers too, enough to make for lunch the next day, which made our stranded state [and our wallets] a lot better. So if you're in the Charleston area I would definitely check out Buck's Pizza, it's worth a try!

it was too late to get room service so this is the menu that the bartender at the hotel gave us to order from. I've definitely have had better. The pizza was so-so, the mushrooms were from a can and not fresh. the hot garlic wings and the thai wings were really good. Service was slow, the pizza was luke warm at best. We finished out our trip having seafood and BBQ at real restaurants.

Service was good, meatball Cal zone was AMAZING, took a long time to get NY food because someone put in a huge order. They also give out free pizza certificates to new residents. I will definitely be back to try the pizza but so far the calzone rocked! Not a lot of dine in space, privacy, or decor so I'd recommend taking it to go.

I was staying a a hotel about 5 miles away. It took an hour and a half for delivery. I called to check on the order after an hour and was assured it would be there in 5 minutes. Five minutes turned into 30. When it finally arrived, the pizza was mediocre at best and only kinda warm.
