Rude Owner, Not Family Friendly, Average Food. Our family met up here and our young son and his young cousin were yelled at by the owner who then kicked our large party out. There was only one other couple in the restaurant and he said the 21 month old was being too loud. After attempting to discipline the toddler by coming out of the kitchen aggressively, he told us to leave. The grandmother and mother were in tears at the rudeness of this owner. The food is average at best. We went for the family friendliness and he failed. Do Not Go here. See the other reviews, he is a very rude new owner who insults people. As we left, the waitress apologized and said she hated it, the cook made "I hate him motions" to the owner behind his back. The owner refused to apologize. There are other Italian places within a few blocks. Go there. Nothing here for anyone to enjoy.

Absolutely horrible food and service. The pizza was sub par and the pasta tastes like canned spaghetti and was simply pathetic. Avoid at all costs

My entire life I have gone to Tonys and I must say, I do miss the old times. Something about the new spaghetti sauce is what gets me. I still eat there from time to time, the food is still good, but I definitely do not go as much. I've seen the comments about the owner; but I've never encountered him. Ms. Ann has been there my entire life and I love her to death. She knows my name and my family even though we don't come as often. Food prices have risen, but I know that always happens. I will always be a patron of Tony's, but I do miss the old spaghetti sauce!

The place has never been great but I must say ever since the change in ownership the place has become the worst place to eat. The owner sits in the dining room and rushes people through their food and hovers and stalks the customers to a point where it makes you uncomfortable. The food is all frozen. The prices have tripled, they skimp on the portions so much that you can spend fifty bucks and still leave hungry. Do not even waste your time.

I had the all meat Stromboli and it was perfect. The crust was baked just to the verge of dark brown. The meat had great taste and the 4 cheese mix was very good. The marinara sauce was served on the side and was wonderful as a dipping sauce. The food was priced reasonable and the portions were big enough to take home for lunch tomorrow

Call me naive, but the name "Tonys" implies New York Style to me. Wrong. I ordered my usual Pepperoni and Sausage and to my horror, I watched as the preparer went into a walk in fridge and appeared with a pre-prepped crust already on a cookie sheet. I felt obligated at this point but suffice it to say the crust was not very good. The quantity of meat toppings was adequate but the cheese was bland and very scarce. I do not think I will return considering the option in the city of Columbia

I think Tony's has some of the best pizza in Columbia! While I have only ever ordered pizza and salad from Tony's, we go back often! The staff is incredibly friendly and interested in making your experience as enjoyable as possible. Great prices and great portions! Since going there for the 1st time last year, it is by far the pizza placer we now go the most! As for the other reviews, everyone is entitled to their opinion, I supposed. But to Nascar M, the fact that you are trashing a restaurant b/c it is not what you thought it would be b/c of its name...talk about judging a book by its cover! Go in...give it a try...I can almost guarantee you will go back :)

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
