This place is such a hole in the wall, that I pass it daily and never stopped. I did tonight and it was amazing. The beef and meatball pho is very good, the Vietnamese sandwich also was very good and fresh. I ordered the Vietnamese rolls (nim chow) and it came with your typical oil like sauce and peanuts. I know it can also come with a thick brown sauce that is very good. They don't normally offer it this way, the owner was willing to make it for me. Like another reviewer said, she clearly takes pride in her cooking.

My wife and I found this place from Yelp as we were looking for lunch before heading to visit the new casino in Plaiville, MA. It's a about 10 miles away and it's a surprise experience. We ordered larb (Laotian beef salad) and it's great!!! We then ordered another Laotian stir fry dish called Pad Ka Pow it comes with ground chicken and a fried egg on top - to eat with steamed rice - very tasty. The owner is very friendly and the service was great!! She said they opened only about 6 months ago. So why the 4 stars??? The bathroom need to be improved - it has a bath tub in it... That's strange for a public restaurant. I suggest that is removed and make room for another bathroom (there is only one stall). The parking lot is very small - but that's fine with me.:-) Good luck to the owner, keep up the good foods and services. We will be back next time we visit the casino.

I was extremely excited to find that this opened near us. I was even more thrilled when I tried it. My Wife and I went one afternoon. (shortly after I stumbled upon it on Yelp) We ordered Nime chow to start, and it was delicious. Then we moved on to the Pho. It was best I've had in the area, (and I didn't even have to drive to Boston...) Then even though I was stuffed, I ordered some Bubble Tea (also good) and ordered several Vietnamese sandwiches to go. A huge success all around. Nice quiet place. That I hope takes off and does very well, because I want them to stay around! That's the motivation behind this review....Selfish ones... I want this place to stick around for years to come. I've had takeout several times since and I'm having it again tonight (just a short drive away) Try this place if you love pho and want a great meal at a great price.

This isn't just a Pho place. One of my favorite foods to get from here are their Vietnamese sandwiches. You need one..or 4. It's so great to have a place near by that makes them fresh. I honestly prefer it here than from Boston. They're THAT good. The bread is soft and flaky, the veggies are fresh and crisp, and the meats are flavorful. Delicious!

I don't usually rate businesses or establishment online but I can't help it. I stopped in here couple months ago and got a Vietnamese sandwich to go and it was one of the best I had from many places. Then I decided to bring my wife with me last month to try out the other stuffs in the menu and I had the Pho and my wife had the Pad Thai and it was delicious. So if you want to try out a real friendly and small authentic Southeast asian food try this place out.

My family & I love this type of cuisine. We have it almost every time we choose to dine out. This was by far some of the best food we've had. Flavorful and fresh nime chow, beef pho and pork fried rice. The service was fast and friendly. You could tell the woman who was cooking/serving really took pride in her food. We thoroughly enjoyed every morsel.

A fabulous little place for tasty Vietnamese cooking. I've tried the pho on two occasions; the first time, their light broth left me feeling so-so. It was flavorful, but missing the beefiness that I expect. The second time I tried it, they had a beef paste in a jar at the table. This was a game changer. It allowed for me to get it nice and beefy, or to leave it on the lighter, fresher side. The Thai iced tea was just the way I like it - sweet, but still with plenty of tea flavor. While I had preferred Vohn's after my 1st visit, my 2nd visit has left me puzzled over which one I love more. The Good - Friendly service, fresh food, most customizable pho nearby. The Bad - So-so parking situation, small location The Ugly - Nothing. I'm super happy about my experience.

What a nice new addition to the city. Place is on the smaller side and the parking is tight. Nothing to fancy about the place its clean and has everything it needs to satisfy their customers. Number one thing about this place is the Banh Mi Sandwiches. They are amazingggg and I don't have to drive all the way to Boston !! Only way to get them is loaded with everything it comes with, but be warned there is jalapenos, yes it has a kick but just go with it adds to the experience lol. I've also had the pho and that also is really good and a nice size portion. The bubble tea is also really great, perfect for a hot day. I got the coconut and love every last drop. I hope this place last, the food I've had has been awesome and I'm sure other things on the menu wouldn't disappoint me.

This place is not a Vietnamese restaurant. It's a Loa restaurant but I never said it was bad. the food was real good for the price the only downside to this place is it's really small. There's only 6 tables and there's curtains and elephants all around the place to make it a little crowded but very clean and yes the parking lot can hold at least 6 cars that's it. Parking can be a big problem if the place was busy parking elsewhere is at least a block away. We were a party of 4 and we ordered 3 Vietnamese sandwiches, 3 nam chow, papaya salad very spicy, and some seafood soup very spicy. If you like Asian spicy hot food they don't disappoint very spicy so be careful if you order spicy and you don't like to dance ask them to tone it down a bit as for me I love the dance the hotter the better. As for coming back it would be a yes food very tasty and fresh. It's kinda rare to see a Asian restaurant that is very clean, friendly staff and good food for a low price. Good job

This little place is a hidden gem in the heart of Woonsocket. They serve delicious authentic Vietnamese, Laos, and Thai food. The Pho is to die for, along with anything else on their menu. Everything is fresh and made to order. The best bargain for $3.99 is the Vietnamese sandwich, it's huge and loaded with all sorts of delicacies. Anything on the menu can be made vegetarian upon request. They also have yummy bubble tea in twelve different flavors. Service is fast and friendly. They have only been open a few months and I'm so happy I discovered Star Deli! It's a winner!!!

Pho! Need I say more? I like how they make it light. I could smell the cilantro when she put the food on the table. Yum! I like that they have all the condiments on the table, including beef paste. The Thai Ice Tea is delicious, you can really taste the tea, not too sweet. Friendly service. I really don't care for the parking situation, which is my only complaint. Some day I will try a bubble tea.
