This is definitely the best pizza place in the South Bellingham/Woonsocket area. I have eaten delivery/pick-up from this place many, many times over the past 15+ years. Some thoughts/suggestions: - Steak and cheese is excellent. Every once and a great while you may get a bit of a chewy piece, but that seldom happens. One of my favorite things to order by far. - The grilled chicken sub is great - very delicious seasoning/marinade on the chicken. - The calzones are great. This is one of the few places I've been to that does a steak & cheese calzone - highly recommended. - The greek salad dressing they use is amazing. I always get extra. - The pizza is consistently very good. They never screw up an order and it always looks/tastes the same. This is Greek style, FYI, but that is the most common/only style in the area. Their toppings are all great, especially their eggplant and any of their meats. - The delivery drivers are very friendly. A couple of them got used to my parent's house and used to bring treats for my parent's dog with each order. I've never eaten in, but the employees there are very friendly and offer great customer service. I don't know of any other place in the Woonsocket area that offers anything as good as J & D's.

I've been a fan of J & D Pizza for some years. Unfortunately, of late they have dropped in customer service. I called to order a grilled chicken dinner and asked for a side salad, and grilled peppers / onions on the side. The individual who took my call argued with me that I wanted a grilled chicken salad and they could not make a side vegetable. However, in the past I have gotten a grilled chicken sub with grilled peppers and onions. Needless to say I politely hung up the phone and called MVP pizza who happily took my "custom" order and money. Food: Average 5 Service: Poor 0 Attitude: Horrid 0 Do yourself a favor and give your money to another pizza shop is looking to establish a customer relationship and pride themselves on service.

Sadly, my family and I have eaten here for years, but I won't be going back. I always hesitated to order salads there because every time half of the lettuce would be the hard white center from the head of lettuce. The part you don't eat when you make a salad at home. When I called in my order I said I knew it was a strange request, but I'd like all green lettuce. The woman said no problem. Once I picked it up I opened it in my car...to find that easily half of the lettuce was the white center. I removed that half of the lettuce and took it back inside to request green lettuce in its place. The gentleman behind the counter said all of his lettuce looked like that. Hmm, odd because the other half of my salad is green. I showed him all of the white lettuce I'd removed. He said everyone loves it and he's never had any complaints. I was a little amazed that this was his response from a customer service standpoint. Not 'Sure, let me give you a new handful of lettuce', or 'Sorry about that, let me make you another', or 'Would you like something else?'. Nope, I guess I can't expect green lettuce there, now I know. It's a shame, they were our go to pizza place. Ownership did change, maybe that was it. I guess I'll just have to go to Zax Galley.

1st time here today... Was greeted as soon as I stepped in the door by "Big G" I ordered a turkey "pocket" very good and exactly as I ordered it. Inside is your typical pizza joint atmosphere! I have gone a second time, just as good as the 1st time!

Love J&D, been eating there for years. I remember going there after Little League games way back in the day, and whenever I come back to the Rocket I try and order from them, for the good food and the nostalgia. All of the delivery drivers are great, and will stop and talk for a few minutes once you get to know them. It's always a pleasure to shoot the stuff with them about what's going on in the world. I'm now living in Philly, with a TON of restaurants, but J&D is still at the top of my list. Nothing like their Steak & Cheese with mushrooms and onions. Yeah, I know Philly is the "home" of the Philly Cheese Steak, but I've yet to have one as good as J&D's (and since I hate Cheez Whiz, that doesn't really help Philly's case either). Don't know how often I'll be able to get back to RI, but whenever I do I'll make sure to call up J&D's.

I really like this place. There are some tables outside, they serve beers, have ice cream, and they have some tasty food!! Very reasonable prices. It's very casual, so I usually pop in after the gym for a salad. Calzone's are great too! I haven't tried the pizza but I think that's next! :)

My parents used to take my brothers and I here every Columbus Day after a long day of festivies at Autumnfest. I haven't had their pizza since I was a child, but it remains one of my favorite places to grab a sandwich or a wrap when I'm dropping by the Red Box machine at the Shell station across the street. The sandwiches are of epic proportions. My brothers will order a Large steak and cheese sub with extra meat and extra cheese, and it's enough to feed a full grown man for two days - for $8. Whaaatadeal. If you are getting a calzone, ask for marinara on the side. They don't automatically give it to you. They also tell you that it will take about 20 minutes no matter what or how much food you order - and that 20 minute estimate has never been accurate.

Typical pizza place with exceptional food. I'm always a sucker for their steak and cheese. I'd recommend you ask for extra cheese though, they seem to never add enough for my taste. Their turkey and grilled chicken subs are great too. Delivery is always fast, and as others have said their drivers are always really nice.

One star is being generous with this disaster of an establishment that lacks concern and respect for their customers. After ordering a pizza and a salad expressing we needed no onion b/c my husband was allergic, we were devliered a pizza and salad with onions. My husband could not eat any more once we realized there were in fact onions. Unfortunately, he had already eaten some. I called and spoke with the manager who gave us a $6 credit for the salad. As anticipated, my husband ended up with a 2 day migraine. He had to miss work, I had to miss work to drive him home b/c he loses his vision. What a terrible inconvenience. With the being said, I called back the manager and kindly expressed that the credit wasn't good enough considering what happened and we wanted our money back. It took about a month to get $6 and we were not even refunded for the pizza. The manager was incredibly rude and told us they didn't need our business. I know J&D has been around for a long time, but given their insensitivity for people's health, who knows what else they are doing to your food. I would highly recommend you avoid J&D pizza.

I am not a big fan of thin crust or deep dish pizza's, hence it has been a struggle to find good pizza places in USA. I was surprised by the quality of pizza and thickness of crust at J&D. Ordered a cheese pizza with two toppings. Cheese pizza tasted like one that had real cheese and finally I felt that I was getting some toppings instead of sprinkling of toppings. It is conveniently located close to my house and I feel that I would be visiting this place a lot more in future. I took a take-out hence can't really comment on service level. They have tried to make interiors a bit classy but lack of music takes down the ambience. Recommended highly for people living on Diamond Hill Rd. region. It tastes remarkably good.

Stopped in here for a sub the other day and their food was delicious. They put a sandwich together with the right balance. Just the right amount lettuce, tomato, toppings and oil to compliment the meats and cheese. The bread was fresh. And the tomato was sliced - so much better than chopped. All this at reasonable price. I'll definitely be back.

This place is terrible. Ordered a cheese pizza and Italian sub toasted. The pizza was raw and the sub was cold, they forgot the cheese and the bread and meats were gross. It was Monday night, so it's not like they were crazy busy. Too gross to cost $33.00, waste of money
