For those coming here just to eat. Their HUGE parking lot, WITH NO SECURITY CAMERAS AND A LARGE SIGN SAYING WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THEFT FROM YOUR VEHICLES, is located directly across the street in the middle of a shady neighborhood and also directly across the street from the people who are always being visited by the police. I purchased an $100 stroller to use with my son while I was on vacay. The stroller was stolen from my car while parked in that lot.

HIDDEN GEM! AMAZING Spot nestled between the Pawtuxet River and the NYLO Hotel. Yes, it is attached and a part of the hotel but do not think that this is just another hotel serve n go set up! I had the opportunity to enjoy dinner on my first night of stay. The chef and kitchen staff are not holding back on the quality of foods here. Buying fresh from local/independent providers ensures a far greater quality of product from the start. Many of the herbs used are grown in their own local garden within viewing distance of the patio! I travel 40+ weeks a year and this was my 54th city this year. I am a total foodie and must say that this hidden gem is a top five in the nation for me this far! I chose to have the seared scallops with risotto, grilled zucchini and a side of sautéed spinach. I was in total AWE! As pescatarian, I was thinking that I would not be able to have the risotto as many are made with bacon but I was quickly informed that the kitchen is a scratch kitchen and that the risotto could be prepared without the bacon. I paired up a Sauvignon Blanc with my dinner and then followed up with the creme brûlée and a port to close the evening! Now let's mention staff! When you are greeted with a smile, things start off on the right foot! And I was greeted with one that shined as bright as the sun. My server, Kaylee, was EXTREMELY knowledgeable in all aspects of this dining experience! Her smile is very pleasant and perfectly enhances her charming personality! The manager, Tommy , goes above and beyond as well. Constantly within view of the guests, it is obvious that he cares about the overall experience for the guests. He is actively a part of his team and it is obvious there is mutual respect within this group and extreme cohesiveness. Regarding the options of inside, or patio dining, either are an excellent choice. The inside dining is perfectly lit with a soft undertone of music. Even when experiencing a busier night, you do not find yourself yelling or asking 'what' over and over. The interior design is up to scale with NYLO standards and is the typical modern look with a touch of history lingering in the walls. The patio? An AMAZING deck overlooking the Pawtuxet River combining history, nature, and NYLO style! Gas lamps, heaters and fire pit make this an exceptional evening experience as the temperatures drop into nightfall. If ten stars were an option, I would be giving them. My experience here was so exceptional that I am returning again in a week.

I've traveled around Europe and this hotel has a spruced up HOSTEL feel to it. There are little to no amenities. They have a "work out room" which consists of about 3 treadmills and some weights. They have no pool, but a dingy river view. The entire place has a strange smell to it. Maybe that's because it's a converted warehouse of sorts.Virtually saw no staff ever. And when we wanted to sleep in, we put the do not disturb sign up and the cleaning people still came in...Thanks for the rude awakening The most horrendous thing about this place is the location and the fact that they basically lie about it. It is neither in Providence (which they told us over the phone) or Warwick as the title would suggest, but in some little crap town called Cranston that has very little to do. The staff admitted they call themselves NYLO Providence because they're close to the airport...THAT DOESN'T MEAN YOU'RE IN PROVIDENCE you idiots. They ask admitted they quite often confuse their guests with that. Bottom line- find a different place to stay that's honest about their location. They're almost a 1/2 hour away from Providence and pretty dingy...My feet always stuck to the hotel room floor.

I read all the negative reviews about The Loft some of which should have been directed to the hotel on here versus the restaurant. I had dinner outside this evening and had absolutely excellent service. The food and beverage manager came out and said hello to me as well as added an extra additional two items to my Caesar salad. I had the Ahi tuna which was perfectly prepared and seasoned if you like spicy food which I do. I had a nice wine and sort of in reverse order of drinks had two of the most delicious jalapeño martinis that I've had in a very long time. Kudos to the bartender working this evening as it worked on the first one several times making sure it was nice, spicy and not too sweet! My server was outstanding so kudos to Jessica. You rocked!!

Tommy and Matt served us very cool restaurant and outdoor sitting. Unfortunately it rained so it wasn't open. Cool little pool table and lounge behind the bar. Just cool place

This place is charming. The decor & vibe are very nice. We had drinks & appetizers. Everything was very good except I thought the drink prices were a bit high AND inconsistent. We ordered the same thing twice yet there was a $4 difference. I wasn't sure if they raised the prices for our event or if this was normal.

This restaurant staff is a joke horrible..while staying at this hotel, i came down for lunch wanted to sit outside and asked.the waitress for an umbrella, which there was only one outside.taken by other quests. THe waitress said there were no more because people left them up and blew in the river..I sat inside..Five minutes later a person came in and asked to be seated outside .I stated to this person can you believe there is only one umbrella, she told jessica the waitress she really wanted one..the waitress called maintenance an umbrella arrived for this woman..I said hello i was here first where is my umbrella. .waitress said there are no more...being upset i asked for the manager he apologized and said if anything you want just ask.I ordered lunch asked for the check and management took off the coffee. What a low class operation. Pathetic. .

Horrible service and staff that openly gave the vibe that they would rather be doing anything else on earth than being professional and attentive. Nice view of a trashed river though.

The reviews on here are very negative and I dont understand it, the hotel is cool and modern and it doesnt feel like a typical "hotel" from the moment you walk in till when you get on the elevator and go to your room. My wife and I loved it and it we ate at The Loft and the food was great as well. Kerri was our server and she was very nice and explained the history of the hotel and even comped one of our drinks due to the delay in our food, which was greatly appreciated. Everyone has an opinion and its all fair, but from reading reviews I was expecting a horrible or less than stellar time and I was pleasantly surprised!! see for yourself and dont let the other reviews sway you against.

I gave it two stars because you can't beat the view and our waitress was trying to be attentive. That said the food was awful. I ordered sword fish (grilled) over lemon basil risotto. Let me start by saying that if you can't make risotto have someone teach you . It was hard and not creamy at all, as if the cheese didn't have time to mix well. The fish was completely over cooked and bland. I was so disappointed. Then i had the strawberry short cake i figured the sweet would help but alas another failure. I didn't think you could mess it up, but i was wrong. That biscuit was salty enough to kill any sweet, the strawberry's were not fresh. They really need to upgrade themselves..

I will definitely be visiting this lounge again. The waitress (Kelly) made fabulous drink that night and was working very hard to serve everyone. She had a very large party to tend to and they were actually being very rude and inappropriate at times. Kelly handled it very professionally. I plan on having a small gathering of friends there very soon. I can't wait to show them what a great place NYLO lounge is. Thank you for your great service. (and the food was great too)

My friends and I stayed at the hotel this past weekend. Reservations had been made at the restaurant downstairs. There were 12 of us in our party and we had 7pm reservations. Upon arrival, we were quite surprised at how quiet the restaurant was. We didn't even need to make reservations, as there were plenty of open seats. We were seated at a long table and the waitress was very friendly and prompt with getting us our menus and taking our drink orders. However, when placing our meal orders, we were told that they were all out of one of the dishes on the main menu and only had 1 dish left of one of the specials. Who sells out of something on their main menu at 7pm at night, especially when there was no one even there? I can understand selling out the specials, but a regular dish? So that was kind of disappointing as a few members of our party were thinking of ordering it. We all placed our orders and enjoyed our drinks. After about a half hour, the waitress brought out 2 dishes, and said the rest would be right out. Being polite, they didn't start to eat until everyone got their food. Well, 10 minutes went by, and a few more plates were brought out. Then another 10 minutes and all but 1 plate had been brought out. The missing plate was told that another waiter had picked up their dish and the chef had to make another one, and it would be a few minutes. Really? There was hardly anyone there! And half of the food was served cold on top of that. At around 8:30, everyone was tired of sitting around as the chairs weren't that comfortable, so we started migrating to the back half of the restaurant/lounge area to where couches were and a pool table. Since it was my birthday, the waitress brought over a brownie sundae. The brownies were stale and hard as a rock. The only reason I gave the place 2 stars was because the waitress was super nice and I had a good time being there with my friends. I would definitely stay at the hotel again, but won't be eating at the restaurant again any time soon.

Extremely poor service. 40 minutes for our food to arrive, and asking for water refills six times with no result has to be a joke. Save your money ($16 for three small scallops?) and cross the street to the mall.
