A very good breakfast. The people who were working on Thursday May 21st made us feel welcome . The chef was excellent one of the best Benedict's I've every had. Great prices ! My wife and mother-in-law loved the French toast. If your visiting Providence R.I. It is worth checking out. If you enjoy traveling this is the kind of place that lets you know why you like to travel

Been here a few times now. Very friendly service. Had a few omelets here. Pizza one, kielbasa one, meat lovers.... Lot's of choices but all have been very good! Wife has had over-medium eggs (cooked great), pancakes another time and an omelet today...also swell. Only 4 stars just because our first time here, the toast was a bit anemic. Not really toasted. Our last few visits we asked for our toast well done and it came out perfect! Not burnt but a nice crunch just as we think toast should be! (Up to 4¾ stars now). It's nearby to us and a place we like to go to because of the atmosphere there... Just a nice place to go to.

Breakfast was delicious and relatively inexpensive. So excited to find a local place that makes chourico and cheese omelets! Also very pleased that we were able to order just one (mickey mouse shaped) pancake for our 4-year-old for a couple of bucks instead of getting a whole stack that he wouldn't have eaten. We'll definitely be back.

We found this place by chance and I'm so glad we did. The food was really good, the place clean, service quick and friendly and prices very reasonable. There were six of us and the food was prepared quickly and to perfection. Great place.

Best Benedict I've ever had! Fabulous twist on adding the marinara sauce instead of hollindaise. Also had the strawberry cream French toast. Another favorite and worth the trek from the hotel during my travel!

Great Breakfast Place that puts a unique twist on some dishes. I tried the Sunrise Benedict. It is ham, egg, and spinach served on an English muffin but instead of hollandaise sauce, they put on a thin tomato based sauce which gave it an awesome taste. I also got a side of side of the Spicy Hash which the spiciness gave the hash a nice flavor and a little kick! Give this place a shot, on top of the great food it is also very reasonably priced and the staff is very friendly. Just a word of the warning it is cash only so plan accordingly.

I love this place, the breakfast is amazing and they have some very cool twists on traditional plates. The price is right and the owner is very friendly and quick. This is a well decorated greasy spoon dinner so if that is what you are looking for I promise you won't be disappointed.

Food is decent. It's a shame that the only waitress that works there is a miserable you know what. This morning I ordered a no egg breakfast sandwich on a croissant with bacon. She got it wrong 3 different times. She never apologized or offered to take something off the check. In fact she ignored us and the owner had to come over to find out what was wrong. Will not go back!

This is a greasy spoon establishment with puntual table service and food for when you just want diner food. I had the two eggs scrambled with spicy hash. The waitress assuming I liked spicy food placed a bottle of siracha down when the food arrived in approximately 10 minutes. Most other places I have to beg for it. The decor reminds me of a down home breakfast diner with a very interesting fishing themed decor. Take the time to peruse the pictures and funny signs on the various walls. The coffee was typical diner coffee however it was reasonably fresh. The waitress refilled often and was pleasant. Homefries were the run of the mill lightly onion powdered pre frozen variety. It is not intended to be a dig at the place but it is the nature of the greasy spoon diner. If you are looking for a nice gourmet breakfast stay away. If you need a quick bite and to wake up then you shouldn't be disappointed. As a qualifier for a greasy spoon establishment in retrospect. If I can recognise SYSCO products by taste, and there is grease and plain white plates. It is a greasy spoon for me. All in all you get what you expect. Quick regular breakfast food with a spicy twist.

Used to go here. But the egg portions got smaller and smaller until the chicken became pigon size. The same goes with the potatoes, they went from a good spoon full down to a tablepoon ful. they may not have raised thier prices but they have made their portions smaller so that you get 50% less for the same price. Since my favorate girl left and I was surprised to not see her there on Saturday, they are now cut out. Time to find a place that does not skimp on the weekly regulars.

This is your classic greasy spoon.....but man do they do a great job with breakfast! The owners and staff are very friendly and accomodating. They actually added a favorite drink of mine to the menu after I filled out a comment card. The weekly specials are always inventive and tasty. They offer things like steak tips, grilled portuguese sweet bread, flannel hash (made with red beets), things you cant get in other places. Prices are dirt cheap. It is clean inside, and the mismatched silverware, different coffee mugs, and pictures of nostalgic Warwick Neck/Rocky Point/Oakland Beach give the place alot of charm. You wont be disappointed!

Bohemian Benedict! Got nervous after I ordered when I noticed it came with marinara sauce instead of hollendaise. It was sooooo good!

A place to wake up A little breakfast place that is only open in the morning. Don't expect a gourmet menu. pretty much omelets and pancakes. However they do have a vast selection of omelets with just about every combination you can imagine. Peppers, onions, mushrooms. steak, you name it. They even have a pancake breakfast they call the Micky Mouse that has chocolate syrup on it. The service is very homey, friendly and attentive. One of the coolest thing about the Sunrise are the decorations on the wall. Old posters of Rocky Point amusement park and Oakland Beach. Articles about the hurricanes that hammered the area and neat old maps. Really adds an interesting home town feel to the place. The only negative is that it is small and very popular with the locals. Just a counter and a dozen or so tables. Can get very crowded and congested, especially in the summer or on weekends. That's all right because it is such a cool place that it is worth the wait.

Cute place with decent breakfast food. If you're in the area and are looking for a week-end breakfast place that won't cost you and fill your belly, this is a great place for that. Nothing fancy (maybe 10-15 tables with some bar space) but it's not that "greasy" breakfast dive that you find everywhere else. Good omelets, nice homefries and courteous service. We walked out with a $12 tab for 2 : can't find that too often!

Cant believe I never reviewed this joint, its at the end of my street basically. Good and great folks, coffee could be stronger. They aim to please the husband/wife team is an ace, try it you'll love it and come back. Gotta love the americana/warwickian garb decoating this place. Check out the old rocky point picks and the stamps from the war, wow. Great score.
