This would be my second time at longhorn the first time was a disaster. But i decided to give it a second try so i and my wife called ahead and with it 3 mins we were seated my wife ordered a sangria and i ordered a jack and coke and the waitress say they out of jack Daniels so i was like here we go. So i ordered a capt and coke it was on the strong side, but it was okay we the ordered the longhorn sampler which was good. Seasoned just right. We then ordered our meals i had the outlaw which is an 18 ounce ribeye steak with a loaded bake potato and a house salad. Salad was good but the steak was cooked to perfection. seasoned just right. My wife ordered the tilapia with shrimp and rice with broccoli and a Caesar salad. I had the privilege of tasting the dish I would have to it was also prepared very well. And tasty. The waitress was very enjoyable and attentive. Worth every penny spent.

First time going a couple of weeks ago and it was great! the food was cooked perfectly. I went to one out in Warrick RI .. the wait was a little lengthy but well worth it. and the drinks were perfect as well.

I'm actually secretly happy when I have a bad restaurant meal. It makes me not tempted to return and pay $40 for something I could cook myself for $10. So this meal made me ecstatic. I was OK that it took the waitstaff 10 minutes to acknowledge my existence. I even decided to overlook the Caesars Soup which should have been a salad but there was so much dressing it was swimming. But the Prime Rib was the worst I ever had. It was so cold and salty I thought I was having a ham dinner at a relatives house known for making horrible dinners. I was worried my dogs wouldn't eat the left overs but they did so you've got that going for you anyway.

I hadn't been to LongHorn in years - so much to the point that I forgot why I hadn't been there in so long. I took the family for dinner the other night - was greeted immediately, sat right away and began looking over the menu. None of the appetizers enticed me - so we went right to the steaks. I did like that they illustrate the cuts of steak. Though I'm no stranger to steak - it was a fun read. I enjoyed the wide-mouth glass wear... It actually enticed me to buy a second Angry Orchard into the meal. I went with the 8oz filet, my wife had the steak tips and the little ones did Mac & cheese. Food came out in decent time and wasn't bad - but the quality and value vs comparable chains (ie Texas Roadhouse) just isn't there. My steak was cooked well - it just lacked any extra flair/flavor. It's clean. It's friendly. But my $ goes further elsewhere. Now I remember why it's been so long.

Alright. I know that this place is terrible. You know that this place is terrible. I know that you know that this place is terrible. So why even write about it? ...because it's SO freak'n terrible! I started to think that maybe it was some kind of joke, that maybe there was some sort of hidden camera somewhere and I was being "Punked". Maybe the waitress was actually Aston Kutcher in drag. How could a restaurant possibly be this deplorable and still be in business? Then I remembered; most Americans don't give a damn about what sort of garbage you force down their throats, as long as its salty enough, has some sort of silly name (like "Texas Tonion®") and is conveniently located near a shopping mall. (Or mega-store, Water Park or Yankee candle, etc.) But we, the "educated" consumer & savvy diner, we know better, right? So what was I doing there at this parking lot behemoth-assembly line food emporium and slop house? Well, we had a gift card that some well meaning relative sent from out-of-state, most likely purchased while waiting in line at a CVS, Walmart, or "Piggly Wiggly". (Most retail stores offer that sort of stuff nowadays, right up front near the register- it makes gift giving much more convenient... convenient and terrible.) But I figured, "Hey, it's a free meal- and how bad could it be..?" ...How bad could it be? Let's see...it could be very, very bad. What if you had an entire business that didn't care one iota about whether or not you "liked" their food or service; from the highest echelon of share-holders down to the 'lowest' of the dishwashers? What then? How deplorable would your dining experience be? You see, it doesn't matter what you or I or anyone really thinks about the place. Not to most everyone involved: The front of house staff; those underpaid, overworked youngsters just waiting for a spot at a more popular restaurant like Ruby Tuesdays to open up so they can go buss tables at a place that actually gets a heavy turn-over and happy diner guests - they don't particularly care whether your chunk of steak was cooked to your liking. You're either going to leave a tip or you're not, ya know? The front of house manager, he doesn't give a damned; he's counting days till the D.M. decides to pull the plug on that location to focus more on that sweet location near the interstate. The General Manager; what does he care? He once wanted to be a chef, now he's content to just steal cash from the till and the tip pool every night. "F&@k it", that's his strategy. The cooks back in that greased-floor hot-house of a microwave station? Why would they care? For what they get paid, just be glad they're not pissing in the soup. Every single one of them knows just how lousy the food is; they have to plate it- and it probably kills 'em a little every time they see a congealed bowl of "Shrimp and Lobster" dip leaving the pass. But what are they gonna do, write corporate and tell them to stop feeding the good folks of central Rhode Island microwaved salt-crap for lunch? I assure you, corporate doesn't care: either a restaurant squeaks by on reputation or location or it doesn't, and if it doesn't, and the costs outweigh the net for a certain number of quarters- well, they just pull the plug. Break the lease and get the hell out of Dodge. They have SO many other franchises under the umbrella of the parent corp. that the closing of one location couldn't possible matter. And besides, enough people-just barely enough- like that food just fine; it does after all, have plenty of salt, cheese and pork fat sprinkled throughout the menu to have most Americans coming back again and again. I could tell you all about the sub-par offerings: the mircowaved bread basket, the "Tonion" [which is a rather unimaginative take on the humble onion ring], or the boiled and nuked "Barbequed" baby back ribs- but ultimately it doesn't matter. You know the score when you walk into a place like this- it's going to be a horror show. I was just taken aback at the completeness of ineptitude and apathy. I just kept thinking, "I wish there was a zero star option on Yelp!" *I should say that I don't feel ALL chain restaurants are cut from the same cloth. Panera Bread, Ruby Tuesday's, Gregg's, Scramblers, and even Wendy's are all fine in their own way. Never let it be said that I'm a "food snob". Nothing could be farther from the truth.

I was given a gift card for longhorn, so I was excited to try it since I've never gone. Right from the start the feel inside was more of a "steakhouse" rather then a chain restaurant which is cool. The bar is really nice and set up well. I ordered to go and the waitress was nice and my order was done when I got there which I always love. The Texas tonion was pretty good, not as good as a bloomin onion but it wasn't bad. The primetime cheeseburger was perfect, exactly what you would get from a steakhouse. They include all kinds of sauce to dip everything in too. The food here was better then I expected and nothing was greasy, at all. I would definitely recommend giving Longhorn a try if you haven't already.

So I was talking a work today with a friend and they pushed me in the direction of this place! I am sure glad they did! So I took my lady here right after work Sunday August 30 2015 and the place looks amazing looks like a rodeo restaurant lol. Very very nice place to dine and have a great meal so we get seated by the hostess within 2 minutes lol that's awesome!! Then looked over their colorful menus and saw a 20 ounce porterhouse steak and had to have it lol! Had a Cesar Salad first them like 20 minutes later my huge gorgeous steak came ! It was so tender and delicious! Did I mention I had the side of steakhouse Mac and cheese with bacon yummy!! Plus to drink had the white peach iced tea! It was delicious and then ended my stay with a good dessert The Caramel Apple Gold Rush Wow!! You have to see my pics to believe how good it looks actually I did a video!! Had a great day here! Will definitely be back!!

One of my favorite lunch places. I wish that it was closer so I could go everyday. I always hit this location when I'm in the neighborhood. I always forget his name but there's a fairly tall dark haired gentleman behind the bar whenever I go there. He is quick to refill my drink which is always a plus. Always friendly and chats with me which is nice when dining alone. My food Comes out quick and hot. I get the fire cracker chicken wrappers and a salad with ranch dressing. The salad is always fresh and nice and cold. The wrappers are cheesy goodness with a dipping sauce that I use every drop. It's that good. While they have a large liqour selection and decent wine I would like to see more of a craft beer list. That won't stop my five star review since it's just me being a bit of a beer snob. :) if your looking for a quick and cheap bite to eat with great service I would recommend stopping in.

I was there last Friday night around 9, not too many people around, our waitress was super nice but it took a while before we got our food; the lamb chops and the steak was cooked to my liking but it was not even warm, my asparagus looked like it was sitting there for days & over cocked, the broccoli; most of it was like it was scrapped from the bottom of a shopping bag. The salad was fresh; for 53$ I can get better food elsewhere Service 4 1/2 star Cleanness 5 stars Food 2 stars Price 2 stars

The service was absolutely HORRIFIC! I was one of two people at the bar but yet it still took the bartender a couple of minutes to come over to ask me what I wanted to drink (even though he was right there in front of me when I sat down). I ordered a filet medium-rare and it was definitely rare (which is ok, I order medium-rare because I like it rare to medium-rare and if you order a steak rare it is normally under-cooked). I was never offered any bread, and I have ate in the restaurant several times and was always brought bread. The steak and ceaser salad was good, but the service ruined the entire experience. I asked the bartender to change the TV channel to TNT to watch a playoff basketball game and he was unable to do it. He kept stopping searching for TNT at channel 220, as if there were no channels higher than that. He then just walked away and started chatting with his co-workers in the kitchen area. I was going to stay to watch the game and possibly order a beer, but I chose against that after the horrible experience I was getting. The restroom was a pig sty and was out of paper towels. I waited at the front of the restaurant to try and talk to a manager, but there wasn't even a hostess around. This was at around 7:30pm on a Sunday, so there is absolutely no excuse for the way I was treated and the way the restaurant was being ran. I wanted to order dessert, but the bartender just kept doing his side work and ignoring me so I just decided to pay my bill and drive across the street to Uno's for dessert where I found the basketball game already on the TV. I will never eat at this restaurant again.

Nope never again, went there a few times and it was ok, but then one night a buddy of mines and I came out to get some steaks. Walked in with no hosts so decided to just take a seat at the bar and let me say that it was only 9:30pm. Waited almost 15min no bartender ever showed up to help us. The server at the end of hall which is connected to the kitchen never ever evened looked over or gave us a notion as if we were there.

Good food for a chain, good service. Small portions. The restaurant was very clean and the staff was friendly. I'd rather pay $25-$30 for larger portions and wasn't a huge fan of the tunion sauce.

Here from out of state and wasn't in the mood for seafood. Had Susan as a waitress and she was the sweetest waitress I've had in awhile. Very friendly and was around when we needed her. Would definitely go back and have her as a waitress again. Food was great. Good price and cooked exactly how I wanted.

We go here once a month. Every time they have a "new" menu item, for a limited time only, you MUST try it! Their chefs certainly know what they are doing! The food is incredible, especially for a chain restaurant! We highly recommend the upgrade to Strawberry Pecan Salad with your dinner. Also, if watching your diet, you cannot go wrong with the Flavorful Under 500 menu! I highly recommend the Napa Grilled Chicken or the Sierra Chicken. Desserts are divine too. Just had the Pumpkin Spice Lava Cake - oh yeah!

Awful worst experience I've ever had!!!! Ordered to go from the bar and the male bartender was completely disinterested! A shift switch took place and he didn't tell the female bartender that there was food was to go waiting. Forty minutes later we got a cold completely wrong order with everything shoved into one box. HORRIBLE

I've wanted to hate Longhorn for a while. How can a chain restaurant be a good steak house? I have been to my fair share of steak houses across the country and Longhorn is up there as one of the best. The food and service is fantastic! My steak always comes out cooked to perfection. You would never believe that this is a chain.

What a ghost town over here! Ever since the flooding of the Warwick Mall, businesses have been reopening, Longhorn Steakhouse included. Having never been to this chain before, it was decided that it was time to try it out. What a mistake. . . The atmosphere is that be expected of any steakhouse chain. Saddles, wagon wheels, photos of crouched cowboys with guns in hand, and the like adorn every inch of the walls, ledges, and corners of the restaurant. Country music wafted through the air at an enjoyable volume (much unlike that of the Texas Roadhouse chain, who deem it necessary to blast you out of your seat). The waitress was nice enough, delievered our food in a timely manner, and was sure that our drinking needs were met. The food on the other hand is expensive and completely not worth the price you pay. They start you off with a basket of warm bread. Not in the mood for steak, I ordered a Parmesan Crusted Chicken Sandwich. It was bland, unappetizing, and did not satisfy my hunger as I had anticipated. The bf ordered bacon wrapped scallops with a small steak. . . which was expressed as being less than ideal and not something to return for in the future. If you are looking for a mediocre meal, this is your place. Otherwise, I'd check out some of the other steakhouse options. . . . And if you go to the bathroom, make sure you know the difference between a Bull and a Lamb :-P

Typical for a chain. The food is definitely over seasoned and over salted. I had a white seafood dish, all of the sides were incredibly salty and even my fish was incredibly over seasoned. I can say that the salad was excellent.

3 1/2 stars Went for their $29.99 promotion and tried the garlic/bacon steak and was a fan. Decent portions and fair prices - about equal to Texas Roadhouse.

The Outlaw Ribeye, mashed potatoes, chocolate stampede , and the peach sangria were epic! The space is lovely, so much nicer than the one on Park Dr. in Boston.

Steak chicken fish and armadillo Both my wife and myself aren't fans of steak or beef in general. We would much prefer chicken, fish or crustaceans. However we do have friends that love cow flesh so in the interest of compromise we frequently seek a place that can accommodate all our tastes when we go out to eat with them. Fortunately Long Horn not only has lots of steak and burgers but also has some cool chicken and fishy dishes and lots of various shrimp and shell fish meals. Also some phenomenally caloric desserts and a huge bar with two wide screen TVs. Something for everybody. The decor is sort of tacky cowboy. Lots of western stuff scattered about and stuck on the walls and country and western music blaring in the background. It's easy to see why some people would find the ambiance stupid and artificial but I actually enjoy looking around at all the old movie posters, riding paraphernalia, cowboy gear and funky old photographs. I also found the representations of the indigenous south western wildlife interesting although one of our friends found trying to eat with an armadillo staring at her somewhat difficult and disconcerting. Long Horn is a nice place to go if you like enjoy beef or even if you don't. A steak house for people that don't like steak. It's inexpensive and roomy and the diverse menu gives enough options so that virtually anyone can find something. You even get to look at some strange old stuff and check out an armadillo.

Don't spend twice as much at Fleming's or Ruth's - the steak here is top-notch.

We hadn't been to LongHorn in a while, but we had a gift card we thought we should use so we headed over for dinner on a Saturday night. We arrived at 6 p.m. and were seated right away. My husband and I ordered their "perfect margarita" we both took a sip and instantly were disapointed. It was all sour mix. I was ready to give up and order a diet Coke but our waitress said their sangria is really good, so we tried the berry sangria, to me it tasted like Koolaide, my husband wasn't thrilled with his either, but we didn't want to be awful guests so he finished mine and I ordered my diet Coke. We ordered our appetizer, and dinners and had to ask twice for bread. The boneless buffalo wings appetizer came out and it was pretty good, however we were disapointed when our salads arrived a minute later. The ceasar salad was just ok. The dinners, arrived just as we were finishing the salads. I knew immediately that my steak was going back. I had never seen such a poor quality fillet in my life there was a very large white strip of gristle running down the middle, I asked for our server, and asked her to send a manager over. Upon looking at my steak she looked horrified and asked "what is that??" Needless to say she took it away and promised me a better one in just a minute. When she returned I had to point out to her that my sons steak was very undercooked. My steak arrived and it looked better than the previous on, but was very thin for a fillet and was over cooked as well. By this time I had had it and couldn't be bothered to complain about another thing. I am not really picky. I am just happy to have a night I don't have to clean up and can enjoy some quality time with my family. When our server brought our check over she said the manager had taken my dinner off the bill and appologized again. We will not be back. And by the sounds of the other reviews they may not be around much longer. What a shame.

Yes, it is a chain but a good one for inexpensive but good steaks. This particular branch seems to want to cut corners to save money (e.g. no plate for the bread, very small side dishes) compared to other Longhorn sites, but still worth it.

Love LongHorn! You MUST Try the mac-n-cheese!!!! Bartender was very nice and attentive to the needs of all her customers. Great place!!!

Besides my husbands steak being a little over cooked, which he said was still tender and delicious, we had a great meal here. The service was friendly and price was decent as well. Mac n cheese was a great surprise, I wouldn't usually order this side but yelpers said to try it so I went for it. Oh man, delish!

For a Chain restaurant i thought their porterhouse steak was deliscious and would defenetly go back for the bread and loaded potatoes too.

As was mentioned, this place is a ghost town. The flooding may have had a part to do with it, or just the overall declining quality in their food. For myself and the family this is usually an every 3 months stop, and in those past 4 visits the atmosphere, food, and service have all gone very far downhill. On our last visit we all ordered basic menu chicken dishes which took close to 25 minutes to arrive. Assuming they had to catch them, kill them and cook them I'll guess that's why it took so long. And we were twice informed "Your food will be out in just a couple minutes". Can't so much fault the server. She was friendly, polite, but appearing very busy when in actuality there were 3 servers on shift and only 5 tables they had to tend to. My preference is Bugaboo Creek, as they both have similar menus, but the way Longhorn is going this may not even be about preference anymore. Working in their favor is cleanliness. Working against them was the appearance of busy while not really being busy, and taking close to 10 minutes for a server to appear.

Let me start by saying i love there steak tips. But the service is not great. Dont get me wrong we have come here once or twice and waitress is good for in general its not. They are a little snotty or to busy or make you wait or even try to rush you. Kids meals are over priced as usually with these places.
