We've been coming here for over 3 years now and we're never disappointed. Personal favorites: egg drop soup, tofu and veggie soup, steamed dumplings, fried bean curd skin appetizer (like an egg roll but wrapped in tofu - awesome) Budda delight, spicy garlic pork, and the dim sum platter. They also have a second, more traditional Chinese menu - you just have to ask for it! Service is consistently wonderful and the prices are reasonable - my absolute favorite place for Chinese food!

I grew up eating Chinese all my life and this has to be the worst Chinese I've ever had I'm originally from New York and lived up in ri 20 years there's quite a few good places in Rhode Island but this place has no flavor and it was definitely not a good experience

This place is great. General's Chicken? Rules. Dumplings? Rule. Fried rice? Rules. Orange beef? Kicks ass. I haven't gotten anything yet that has disappointed, and they always get the takeout order correct. I recently got some skeptical neigh sayers to try this place, and let's just say they've been converted like they just dealt with the Michael Jordan of Jehova's Witnesses. Between this place and China Dynasty, there's really no need to go anywhere else in C-Town for Chinese food. Don't be wrong, go to Kwong!

I've been here several times, and the food is very good. They have a large selection of authentic Chinese items in addition to the usual Americanized fried crud. Specials on the board as you walk in are always delicious. The staff is very helpful, even the mean-looking dragon lady at the counter. The interior could use a refresh, but that's a minor complaint.

Cold sesame noodles were inedible. Strange sweet taste instead of savory sesame . General tso chicken was bland, no spice to it at all. Lemon chicken was dry and chewy.

Delicious chinese food. The prices are reasonable and portions are large. Food is always always fresh. I've been a regular lunch customer for a decade now and always enjoy a visit here, or takeout. I recommend: - Appetizers: crab rangoon, peking ravioli, spare ribs, fried shrimp, wanton soup, hot & sour soup. - Main Meal: lemon chicken, house rice / noodles, any chicken/beef/seafood dishes! Everything here is delicious, so no matter what you get it will be great. Highly recommend.

Tonight I tried Kwong Dynasty for the first time and I really liked it! I ordered the Kwong Dynasty special combination and everything in it was great. I especially liked the chicken fingers they had a great taste and they were nice and crispy. My boyfriend got the General Tao chicken and that was a hit too. The only down side to this place I think is that it could be a tad bit cheaper considering the portions weren't all that big. Other then that it was a very clean presentable restaurant. You wouldn't think from the outside that the inside would be that way. I don't think this is a new favorite place or anything but I would definitely order from here again.

Kwong is my family's favorite Chinese restaurant in the area! We always recommend this place to everyone we know. Their food is so delicious and the owners are great! Try their General Tso's Chicken and their homemade duck sauce with crackers! They have a lot of vegetarian options, too!

Three strikes and your out! The worst chinese food in the area! My last visit is just that...... Geeneral tao was just awfull! Fried rice was bland and had big chunks of onions that were raw! Last time I went they gave old boneless spare ribs that tasted like they were reheated in a microwave. Tough, dry, and tasteless. Covered in some mystery sauce to mask it! GROSS GROSS GROSS! My takeout order was ready in like 5 mins. From fridge to microwave to me!

I must admit I was surprised that Kwong Dynasty had never been reviewed before this. This is my "go to" place for Chinese. The food is outstanding and consistent, and the staff beams with hospitality. The General Tao's is the best I've had in the area, and that's saying something because my great great uncle was actually General Tao. Needless to say, big fan!

I have been coming here since the late 1980s - it is consistently flavorful, clean and a really good place to eat. The prices here are very reasonable. Don't be put off by the strip mall location. The restaurant is pleasant inside and the service in this family-owned gem is quick and kind. Plus, I always feel lucky when I pass through the moon door to the dining room. ;-) Fried wontons on every table are a nice touch, though the food comes so quickly we never get to the bottom of the bowl. My mom swears by their hot and sour soup, and the fried dumplings are awesome. I've never had a bad entree here. Some favorites among my family and friends (who have all been dragged here by me at some point) are General Tsao Chicken, Sesame Chicken, Beef and Broccoli, Hunan Chicken, Strange Favored Chicken, etc. I tend to like it spicy, which they do as richly flavored, not hot, unless you ask for more heat. My daughter is gradually expanding her palate from sweet and sour chicken to chicken lo mein... she likes it so much she doesn't want to try a new dish. What more can I say? The only thing I can't guarantee is a good fortune cookie. Although I once received one from Kwong Dynasty that read 'You will soon achieve perfection,' so I can certainly vouch for their accuracy.

Have only ordered one thing from here and thats the General Tso Chicken ... once a week. This place has ruined General Tso Chicken for any other place because ~no one~ has it as good as Kwong. The chicken is battered perfectly and the sauce is like no one elses. Dark and rich instead of mild and mediocre with crispy chicken instead of a mushy shell like most places. Everything else is average to alright here.

It is desceptive from the road - hidden in a strip plaza - but the food is great. They offer all the usual fare; I had the egg drop soup and the Hot and Spicy Pork and both were excellent. The wait staff speaks limited english but the service was excellent. The restaurant is clean and the dining area is very nice. Food came out quickly - everyone in my party was very happy with the choice. Thumbs Up!

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
