Dragon Dragon is still around, and it has been getting zero love on Yelp lately, which I feel is not right. I'm about to drop some truth bombs on you right now. I had not been to Dragon Dragon in a long time and felt it was time to check out my old favorite Chinese takeout location, I was not disappointed. First off, there website is now AMAZING. Know that terrible feeling you get when you want Chinese takeout, but the menu is not available online and you are searching through that one draw in your house full of takeout menus?? Well yeah, that is a thing of the past. Dragon Dragon has posted their full menu on their site and get this ONLINE ORDERING FOR PICK UP OR DELIVERY. Yes, that needed caps lock, no I am not sorry. The only hard part about the menu was trying to narrow down my food order. I wanted all the foods. All of them. My husband, my best friend and I all got take out last night; we ordered a ton of food: a dinner special, an order of shrimp and broccoli, nime chow, crab rangoons and a full order of lemon chicken. It was only $30. I am not kidding. That is value right there people. The food was ready for pick up on time and the order was 100% accurate. The portions are very large, one dinner is far more than a normal person needs to eat in one sitting. If your order comes with a sauce like sweet and sour or lemon sauce they give you a soup bowl sized container of it. Sauce on the side for days. We didn't get fortune cookies with our meal, but I was not even mad about it, things were just that good. Everyone was pleased with their meals and we had left overs which somehow always taste better next day. The haters are gonna hate, but I have been loyal to this place for years and they have never let me down.

I feel really bad. I used to love this place at one point in my life. Then I drove by after they were closed. All the lights were out. There, on the counter, sat a large tub of exposed, unrefrigerated fried chicken fingers. It left me so disgusted that I couldn't bring myself to go back. There are plenty of decent places for Chinese food around. I'd rather pick one that won't get me sick.

Can it be? Is it possible to be worst of the worse? If the only way you know to season is with salt, is that enough to say you can cook for business? This may come across harsh but I've maintained that seasoning is the only way one can distinguish the quality of one Americanized Chinese food place from the other. I mean, really, the menu is the same 9 times out of 10. Same Chow Mein, same Pupu Platter, General Tso's Chicken, same Orange Chicken, same...you get the picture. So it came as a huge disappointment for me when, my very reliable Americanized Chinese food, has turned out to be truly awful. Food is not even bland but just salt-laden. Not salty, just salt-laden. This is not in the literal "salt" sense because soy sauce is the key seasoning but hopefully, you get my drift. Is there a difference with salty and salt-laden? Uh huh. How a place can make such an unappealing version of House Special Chow Mein or Mapo Tofu beats me. Yet, somehow this place did it. Greasy, super blah taste, dark looking dishes (too much brown sauce?), nothing exciting. I have taken their delivery menu out from my kitchen drawer...

I really tried to like Dragon Dragon, I mean it can't be ALL that bad right? It's just your everyday Chinese food with the same menu as every other Chinese restaurant, so who can really expect to have stellar reviews from such a place? Apparently you can get bad Chinese food..quite literally...because after eating there both my husband and I got sick off of their food. We didn't order anything extravagant just a pu pu platter. Well it was extremely greasy, and kind of flavorless except for the 5000mgs of sodium it was doused in. Needless to say our stomachs are now boycotting and we're never getting food from Dragon Dragon again. Please heed the warnings from me and the several other yelpers who made the horrible mistake of going here!

Not bad for take out, but won't order here again unless all the other local places are closed. Beef teriyaki was delicious, everything else was pretty subpar.

Your average American Chinese restaurant with good lunch specials. Dragon Dragon lacks uniqueness and most of the food is plain and bland. Nothing special here.

We ordered take out dinner here this evening. At one time they were very very good, (at one time they were one of the best in the area) and we got away from them some time ago as the quality started slipping and there are other area choices. Well I can say they have not had a come back since we were last there. We ordered a PU PU Platter for two and egg drop soup with wantons. Lets start with the good, the soup was excellent. As far as the PU PU Platter there were three (qty) of items ( this is for two) and most of the items were almost miniature in size and very dry. Rather bland to say the least. As such there were no negotiations of the items that had three in qty between my wife and I. They also did not provide any condiments and fortune cookies, so we did not have the ability to spice it up a bit. In short we were disappointed as we wanted to give them another try, but it will be some time to come before we try again. I hope they make adjustments, as the competition is tough and ample in the area. Wish them the best!

Pretty good although their boneless ribs leave something to be desired. Too fatty for my liking.

Liked it a lot they even deliver to most of warwick on the hoxie/conimicut/west shore rd area. Impressive, food takes a bit if you walk in because it isnt all pre-made but the staff are nice. Restaurant only has maybe a few chairs its takeout/delivery only. Prices are phenomenal for the area and the food is above average.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
