I've been a customer of Cosmic since we had them delivering to myself and the rest of the "garden shop" guys in the mid - late 90s at Ann & Hope. I've been lucky enough to have a handful of jobs through the years that have kept me in the area for some of my favorite lunches. As far as their pizza goes - it's decent. I prefer the square pizza over their standard round though. Never been overly impressed with it. But their sandwiches and calzones are fantastic. Hearty steak fries, their tasty buffalo chicken, huge steak bomb, and though I wouldn't consider this place a true "wiener joint" their dogs are pretty darn good. During the day the owner, Dave, is scrambling around the kitchen. Greeting guests, talking politics, relationships, current events, etc. The food is relatively quick and always on point. My only reason for deducting a star is their prices are, to me, a bit high. They have decent specials but I always feel like I'm breaking the bank for lunch. But - maybe I'm just cheap? Regardless, I'll never stop coming. Don't forget the dough boys on your way out. Iggy's quality without the hour long line!

Ordered wieners for a get together every person who ate one got severely ill. After a walk in visit I was diagnosed with food poisoning. Walking in and seeing large crowd waiting for take out, I was concerned about a wait. Needless worry to say the least. We were able to order within minutes and our food was out within 10min. We stayed in the dinning area, a bright dinner type feel and not large at all. We ordered wieners, fries, and an Italian grinder. The grinder was stacked and dressed just right. Weiner's are some of the best around. The staff were really pleasant and friendly. When we got our order we noticed we had more food than what we ordered. We advised the counter staff and their response was to keep the food and reimburse us for an over charge. Happily we kept the food and didn't require them to reimburse us. This was a fun experience and we will be back.

If you're looking for fine dining, move on. If your looking something fast and inexpensive, this is your place. This place is practically an institution. Hot weiners, fish and chips, burgers and fries, calzones, subs - its all good and exactly what you'd expect. The counter people are normally friendly and delivery people professional. Once a delivery was incorrect, they quickly made another order and fixed the problem. Pick up or delivery I would recommend. Eating there is not great. It's too loud and busy with people in and out.

Great choice for late-night delivery! We had a custom square pizza, boneless hot wings, and cheesy garlic sticks, all fresh and delicious (and generous) with all the extra sauce we requested. Quick delivery to our hotel room - they don't make you slog down to the lobby. Mangia!

Skip this place. Terrible experience at Cosmic with customer service. We ordered 3 pizzas for pickup over the phone and were told it would be 25 minutes. When we arrived for pickup after 25 minutes and it wasn't ready we asked how much longer it would be. They said they never put it in because they were slammed and thought it was delivery so figured they had some time buffer. I had a full house of people waiting for pizza, thinking they were going to get it in 25 minutes. They had to wait almost a full hour. We live in the neighborhood and are frequent customers. You'd think that the owner would try and remedy the situation. Anything would have worked to show that he believed we were valuable customers and they were apologetic over the situation they put us in. Instead, all we got was a litany of questions like "have you been here before?" , "has this ever happened before?", "do you live around here?", "are you going to come back anyway?". Then the concluding remark, "at least your pizza's hot." Yeah, thanks a lot.

I ordered a double burger with mushrooms, onions and cheese. They don't have an option on their menu for a second patty, so it came to about $17 with twice cooked greasy fries and a small fountain drink. I ordered the spinach pie and half a dozen doughboys and after half an hour I'm still waiting. I had the opportunity to try the wieners last night. They were mediocre and were not hot. But for $1.99 I didn't expect a lot. The doughboys that everybody is raving about were nothing more than pizza dough that was undercooked and doughy in the middle. I've still yet to try the pizza. I'm not expecting much there either so for now I'll just have to give them three stars for the effort and hope for the best when that time comes.

These guys delivered to our hotel within the time they gave. Friday Fish Grinder, a veal meal, a calzone, a salad, and cheesy garlic bread. Potions were huge, prices so reasonable. The delivery driver was super nice. Everything tasted great, would have them again.

Really a lot to like about Cosmic. Open late, good and cheap pizza. Dougboys, and some really good steak sandwiches. On a busy stretch of Post Road so turning in and out can be a little difficult depending on what time you're there and they only have fountain soda but otherwise its a great spot to go to for a pie.

I used to take my kids here all the time and they had the best Cheesesteak Grinders , Pizza and the Spinach Pies were to DIE FOR ! Only 1.25 back then though ! This is a quintessential NE pizza/sub shop. They have 7 booths, a Unisex bathroom & an arcade game. No counter seating. Very simple interior with formica booths & tile floor. Clean. Simple. Uncomplicated. This place is BUSY! The short order cooks seriously HUSTLE with the orders! They do a brisk takeout & delivery service here also. Phone rings off the hook.... I called in my order. I decided on a SMALL (10 inch) steak, cheese, onion, peppers LTM with a side order of fries. (I know, I know. I should've ordered a salad but not happening today). The cooks yell the orders when they are ready. (Reminds me a bit of the SNL Skit of DET's Greektown with Belushi, Akroyd). I definitely enjoyed my steak & cheese. The sub roll held up nicely to the steak, ingredients & the Au jus. The sub was very warm & cheese was melted well into the sub. Anyway: definitely a solidly good NE Pizza/ Grinder shop. It actually reminded me of when I was 6/7 yrs old visiting my boston aunts, uncles, cousins etc. & getting local pizza takeout.

I do enjoy cosmic pizza and here's why. The service is fast and usually I call my order ahead at lunch time takes about 15-20min for a wait which is good. I get the same thing at lunch every time lol however I've had their pizza and its good too. Nice tangy sauce not chunky, I'm a sucker for extra cheese on pizza. Not too greesy. Anyway my usual order is 2 wieners no onions(meat sauce is decent, sweet and dog has just enough snap when you bite into it. Sauce isn't runny so your bun doesn't get all soggy! :)) then of course I get the loaded cheese and bacon fries side of ranch to dip. It's real shredded cheese not that nacho cheese another plus. Their antipasto is very yummy too. Loaded with assorted Italian meats, lettuce your choice of dressing. Restaurant is smallish but it's a pizza place their not suppose to be big, their suppose to feel comfortable, with those benches/tables you know the ones. Hard and cold but some how comfortable and the same. No stools at counter or out door seating but staff is friendly women at counter always smiling. Prices aren't bad average.

I called last night and ordered when I was asked what my address was I answered and the person on the phone started saying hello hello hello when I was perfectly fine on the phone and I know she could hear me. She hung up on me and I called back she then put a guy on the phone who stated what did I want??? I stated what do you mean what do I want? I stated what had happened, he did not let me talk and started yelling at me and I told him what he could do with his order, he hung up. I then called back and at that time he stated that he would call the police on me, at which I was appalled and laughed because they did not even have my address or anything. I called another time and stated that I wanted to order and he told me that he had 14 other orders and that they did not need my business because they make a million dollars a year.

It's a shame I like their food so much because their customer service is horrible. I think I'm all done with Cosmic. I call and the woman that answers the phone barely even gets "cosmic" out and "hold on" to hear the phone clunk down and yelling in the background. Then after a couple minutes and asks can I help you? I respond I'd like to place an order for delivery. She responds with, "well its going to be an hour to 90 minutes" with such an attitude as if they she doesn't want the business! This has happened multiple times. I'm a very polite and patient person but bad customer service can turn me off from a place no matter how good the food.

Fast paced, always busy, decent food. Pizza is fine, nothing special, but Weiners and Sandwiches are very good! If you do order pizza, I recommend the square type. It takes a little longer for them to make, but the difference in crust is HUGE! The buffalo chicken wings are really really good and if you are hungry, the buffalo chicken sub is nothing short of amazing! I like it with lettuce, tomato and onions. It is FANTASTIC when you dip it into the big tub of blue cheese they give you ;) We go about once a month... and have done so for almost 20 years. The food is always consistent which is a big plus in my book. We generally opt for pickup, but the delivery service also very good. Over the years, we have certainly used it. Heck they have even delivered pizza late night to our backyard while we were in the hot tub LoL

As a Florida resident, I had never heard of hot wieners before. My uncle was craving them so we ended up stopping here. We ordered 12 hot wieners, and took them home to eat. The stuff is very nice, very friendly. The wieners themselves we're kind of on. I know this is more of a Rhode Island thing, and I had never been here before, but the meat on top Was very grainy. I later heard that this sort of hot dog with topping is only legal into states... I don't even want to know why. I could only eat half of it, before giving it to the rest of my family.
