I agree with several of the other reviews. The biggest negative for me was the fact that they don't take credit cards. They do have an ATM inside so that does make it a little better. The food I had was good but not what they said. I got the steak and cheese and it said it came with provolone yet it had a melted orange cheese on it. Despite this the sandwich was tasty. I had the house brand bottled soda which I thought was good. I didn't encounter any issues with the staff as they all seemed friendly. The food was a little slow coming out but not terrible as far as a wait. I would try it again but I want to try the pizza. Too many small negatives to get more than 3 stars.

I ate here with my boyfriend because we live 2 minutes away. The food was blah/ not flavorful and they also charged us extra when I asked for another side of ranch. The one she gave us was tiny and it was for a appetizer that we were splitting. Staff was on the rude side. The place is old, run down and tacky. Would not back!

I was willing to get past the very dated decor and the overall run down atmosphere of the place. I was willing to bring cash for my purchase.... if the food was good. The food was not As other reviewers have said their prices look cheap, but they nickle and dime you on every piece of the order so that in the end, you can easily spend more than the cash you have in your pocket. I am tempted to go back and order the mac n cheese because I saw someone eating it out of a oven dish and it looked amazing, but I can't guarantee that it will live up to its look because my sandwich did not. I ordered a chicken caesar salad, and 1st of all it took a while to come out. 2nd, the chicken were these small odd circle size pieces that were seasoned oddly. The rest of the wrap was fine, but not $8 fine.

Love Warren House!!! Literally everything I've had on the lengthy menu I've loved... And all for so cheap. It's a little dated on the inside but makes up for it with "house of pizza" charm and history. Only thing close to a con is they're cash only. Highly recommend this place.

We have had dinner here and tonight picked up a pizza. The meal we had at the restaurant was fine for an inexpensive meal. The owner was very welcoming and the restaurant had a nice family feel to it. The pizza we ordered was ok. It was not on par with the good Greek style pizzas we get in Providence. A little thicker crust and more cheese would improve the pizza and earn more stars from me.

Pizza was okay but they seriously don't accept credit cards? This is the 21st century now... Hello? Who carries cash?

Just had the best slice of pizza I've had in a long time. Best crust ever!

This is a staple in town. No matter what you get you will be satisfied with the outcome. Here you'll find that pizza parlor charm with the prices to match! Anything from calzones and hand tossed pizza to pasta Alfredo (homemade btw!!!) and ribeye dinners, they got it! The only drawback here is that they run a cash only operation, which probably accounts for the good prices.

If you are looking for a great piece of pizza, gyro, or maybe even a ceasar salad this is where it's at. Their salads feature homemade ceasar dressing and homemade croutons (which) are to die for. Overall I've been eating here for years and they haven't let me down yet.

Damn it's dark in here Yes, I'd like a frosty mug Perfect meatball sub Perfect for lunch; the food is fresh and hot and the beer is cold and served in a frosted mug. Its a bit dark and yellowed inside (seems a bit antiquated), but you're really not going to a pizza joint for the ambiance, are you? Points deducted for lack of attention to decor and incredibly low lighting.

I ate here almost every day for a year, until I got fed up with the rude behavior of Maria, the owner. She's a "soup nazi" who scolds and corrects the customers. (I'm using that term loosely; she's not as extreme as the character on Seinfeld.) Most of the food is pretty good, and the prices are low. However, they nickel-and-dime the customers on small things. If you want American cheese instead of provolone on your sandwich, it's an extra charge. If you want BBQ sauce instead of ketchup, it's an extra charge. In other words, they charge for substitutions even if the substitutions don't cost them anything. They are counting on the fact that the customers won't notice that their bill has been padded. I stopped buying their grinders because I resented paying extra for American cheese. I mean, American cheese is the cheapest cheese there is, and I shouldn't have to pay extra to have it substituted for provolone. They don't use real mozzarella cheese on the pizza, but something that they just call "pizza cheese". It has a slight bitterness to it which mozzarella doesn't have. Six years ago, when I first ate the pizza, I thought it was excellent, but my most recent experience was disappointing. I learned that they were still charging $11.95 for a large pizza with two toppings, so I ordered a pie to be delivered. There was less cheese on it than I remembered, and the toppings were very sparse. I can't compare it to Dominoes or any of the other pizza franchises because I haven't ordered any of those products in years. The burgers, clam chowder, chicken tenders and salads are good, provided that they haven't changed (I'm pretty sure the clam chowder is Bount's). The grinders are okay, but they don't use quality bread. The pasta is very good and the servings are generous (I only tried the creamy pasta dishes). The fried chicken and macaroni & cheese are good, but they don't taste like you'd expect (in other words, the recipes they use aren't typical recipes). The fish sandwich should be avoided. But it's the rude behavior of the owner that will eventually put you off the place. The last time I went, she reprimanded me for leaving the toilet seat up in the bathroom -- and there were four or five incidents before that. I have a friend who was chastised by Maria the first time she went there -- for standing in the wrong place! -- and she never went back, so I'm not the only one. Maybe Maria won't be rude to you. If not, it's a good place to eat. I recently reduced the stars I am giving them from 3 to 2. I mean, if I was treated badly enough that I won't ever go back, how can I say that they are 'A-OK'? I did order that pizza that I mentioned above, but given that it was just average, I probably won't order from them again. One last thing: They ignore all the recycling laws, and they throw away all the beverage cans and bottles (and, I assume, all the cans and bottles generated in the kitchen) instead of recycling them. They need to develop a little social consciousness there.

What happened? Growing up, I loved nothing more than riding my bike to meet friends at Warren House of Pizza. We'd pool or money together, order a pie and a couple of sodas and share a few laughs. It was a really good pie too. Fast forward a couple of decades, move next door and bastardize the menu, and it should come as no surprise that things have changed. The pizza is totally different than what it once was and that's a shame. One of my friends from back in the day is an award winning chef and we were talking about how good Warren House was back in the day, and how sad that it's a shadow of it's former self. Well, I'll always have the memories.

They do have wifi - which is the only reason they were given a chance given all the amazing options in Warren. Nothing memorable about the decor, service, or food. Per their recommendation, tried the Italian Grinder - said that people came from all over to try it. As to why, I'm mystified. Decor wildly outdated - bordering on dirty and dingy. Nothing special about menu or food that I tried. Service lacking. Not worth a second chance if you're looking for an awesome meal or dining experience.

The owner sits behind the counter and gets trashed and then yells at customers about how much he hates Americans... Disgusting

We went here last week, and were pleasantly surprised at how good the food was! When we walked in, it smelled really good, which was interesting, because as good as it smelled, was as bad and outdated that it looked. I mean REALLY outdated, and old looking, but anyway... We ordered a pizza, the macaroni and cheese, and a fish filet sandwich. Everything was delicious. The food took a good bit of time to come out, but it was definitely worth the wait! We'll absolutely come here again.
