An excellent cafe with friendly staff and decent food. Don't expect artisan coffee or anything like that, but if you're looking for a comfortable place to meet friends or colleagues for breakfast or lunch in a spacious atmosphere with ample free parking and not spend much money, this cafe is a great choice. If you're going to sit down, it's ten times better than a Dunkin Donuts for the same prices. There is large cafeteria-style area on the right side as you walk in, with prepared foods and bottled beverages. The main counter offers made-to-order sandwiches and coffee-style beverages. This makes it very easy to either run through quickly for take-away or to sit down at a table, depending upon your needs at the moment. The main drawback is the terrible business hours, closing at 4:00pm on weekdays and not open at all on weekends. That is understandable because their main customer base is the workers in the industrial park comprising medical and government offices, as well as drawing from the main post office and the Stop and Shop supermarket across the street. Free WiFi and accessible electrical outlets are a huge convenience, too. The cafe itself is not immediately obvious from the road, but there is a sign at the edge of the parking lot entrance where West River St and Corliss St meet, a few hundred feet from Branch Ave. Because this is just off of I-95 exit 24 (Branch Ave) it is very easy to give directions to meet someone unfamiliar with the local area.

Big spacious room, you could sit enjoy...eat...and get some work done. A bit noisy, just put headphones on. Good vibe here, inexpensive. Excellent roasted red pepper soup. Tuna was ehhh at first, but then I found out you can doctor it up how u want. Mayo and relish if u like that sort of thing. Nice salad bar. Staff is excellent and friendly. This place is really clean! Private lot parking in the city. I just really like this place. I gave them five because they were doing so many things right. As a cafe, this is what you want. A place to meet sit and talk. Great lunch spot.

Thank God I'm stubborn! I refused to believe that the only decent coffee shops in Providence where in places that I would have to fight for parking. Now I have another option for good food and good coffee. It's obviously meant to be a cafeteria for the medical staff - it's huge and has a salad bar. But who cares? It has outdoor seating with umbrellas. The staff is really friendly, there is definitely a Cheers feel (where everybody knows your name). One of my pet peeves is going to a restaurant and asking for something you know they make but is not currently on the menu - especially when you are looking right at most of the ingredients. The staff here didn't skip a beat and made me a former special (italiano turkey melt - highly recommended). I'll be back and try everyone else's suggestions. Btw, the air conditioning blows pretty strongly.

This place is tucked into a very busy medical plaza and it seemed to be built just for the employees of the local businesses. I ended up here just on a whim because I was starving and I was out doing errands. The place is huge as Kevin K brought up and it really makes the place seems a little cold. The service here is really what makes this place great. All of the ladies greeted me and were open to suggesting things off the menu and answered all of the questions I had. The cool thing too was that everyone else that walked in were greeted by their first names. Lots of regulars so it made the place feel really comfy. As far as my meal, it wasn't anything spectacular. I had a buffalo chicken wrap and it was ok. I heard good things about the soup but I didn't have a chance to try it. I'd come back here to try more food and soup plus, it's not filled with loud college kids so it would be a good place to get work done.

Staff is very friendly and the place is clean. Good deli sandwiches. Stick with dry sandwiches (tuna on wheat or something) - don't get the paninis. They taste great but you will have stomach issues later. They also have this kick ass Roasted Red Pepper w/ Smoked Gouda soup. It's out of this world. They don't always have it so call ahead. Last time I was in there I got the last bowl. I thought I was going to get mauled by two ladies behind me that were furious it was all gone. They were yelling at the guy saying the only reason they came in was because they called ahead and the soup was there. Good breakfast sandwiches and coffee as well.

I was surpirsed to find how huge this cafe is, really great place to go with big groups for coffee. It's just starting out so it's not usually crowded, but they have a soup and salad bar, espresso bar, lots of sandwich choices and some great smoothies! Really worth checking out
