I'm going to give this Starbucks 5 stars because they really do deserve it. They are always really nice to me whenever I come in. I can see they speak to every customer in a courteous manner and they always get your order right. When it's really crowded they have someone taking your order while you are online and it really does get things moving efficiently. Coming from a person that I've literally been to most Starbucks in every borough of New York, this place has a certain charm the others do not. I think it's because they really aim to please while other baristas are just doing a job. My coffee has been consistent from this location, whereas others depend on who is making it for you. There's plenty of seats and for the most part they're always available. There is seating outside as well as in. My favorite tiny detail is that they wish you a good day after they hand you your coffee.

This Starbucks is terrible. Corporate should shut them down. Not enough words to discuss how much they suck. Screwing up orders, run out of products etc

I am appreciative of this Starbucks. No doubt its convenient. I am going out on a limb and saying that I find it really annoying that they have an army of people working here and drinks still take forever. I don't understand why its so hard to pour an iced tea. If you don't plan accordingly you end up late to class. Also, at night they have a very limited stock. If you know an entire graduate school begins classes in the evening I find it unacceptable to have 2 choices in the pastry case. How can a culinary school find it OK to allow this to happen? I mean don't get me wrong I understand its a very busy location HOWEVER, there are enough people to replenish the pastry case. Lastly and most angrily I know that the pastries aren't made in-house but do they really need to be sitting in opened boxes on the floor for all the world to see? The lemon poundcake in shrink-wrap covered in coffee splash is just such a turn off for me. Given that I am a patient person, I will stand in line and wait. However, I think the folks at this particular Starbucks need to step it up and work much more effectively. 2 stars! Boo!!!!!!!

I LOVE STARBUCKS. Unfortunately there are just not enough of them around here, so thank god for Garden City. The staff is friendly, attentive, and the coffee can't be beat. And, I love Garden City's atmosphere, which makes Starbucks a perfect fit. I do have to say the layout of the store is a little awkward, and isn't conducive to ordering. Otherwise, a great spot!

This Starbucks is located in the Harborside Academic Building at Johnson & Wales University. For a partnership, you can expect to find the same great service, just like any other corporate Starbucks. The drinks are always made correctly and the store is very clean. They also have free Wi-Fi, so even if you are not a JWU student, you can still log on. The food products are good, however, it can run a little low at the end of the day just because it is on a college campus. The amount of people that come in and out and the ability for students to use meal plans could be a factor in this though.

This Starbucks is okay. Usually pretty crowded because of its location. The coffee tastes more burnt then a typical Starbucks. The students that work here are very friendly and knowledgeable.

Just because most of the customers are JWU students doesn't mean that the staff doesn't have to be nice. Most of them are and know their stuff but seriously put a smile on!

I am a regular at this Starbucks. It is located in the HAC building on the Harborside Johnson and Wales campus. Last year I went to this Starbucks at least twice a day because we were able to use our meal swipes and I didn't really enjoy the dining halls. I have tried almost every single item on the menu and also have made up my own concoctions. The staff here is very friendly and since I have been there so many times they know who I am and know that I like my so called complicated beverages. They are willing to work with me and make what ever beverage I would like that day. My favorite is a Grande iced soy 6 pump classic extra shaken black tea latte. It is very refreshing and very delicious. Never go here in between class times or you will be waiting on a very long line that is out the door. The only bad thing I could say would be that I since I have started going to this Starbucks they have found over 30 ways to spell my name but as long as they make my beverages right I will keep on coming.
