I love starbucks and am proud to be a gold card member for few years. I am one of those addicted customers who can go there for breakfast lunch and dinner which is probably a little,... sick. I also understand this might appear to be a blasphemy to the vast beloved Dunkin' Donuts lovers here in New England. Anyway I stay true to my love for Starbucks. However, it loses one star because this location does not have a toaster. That means I have to have my favorite foods there COLD: bagel, panini sandwiches, breakfast sandwiches, etc. Seriously? A starbucks THIS size with 2 massive seating areas, tons of students flowing in and out, and a pretty good size of food assortment can go on without a toaster? Bagels are not pizza, I don't want to eat them cold! Pretty simple - please get a toaster oven, for realz.

I love getting my Starbucks fix and this one is right around the corner from my office. It's a bit run-over with college kids sometimes and the line is out the door, but it is in the heart of JWU. Given the volume, the line goes pretty quick and my order's always right. My one grievance: I'm a Starbucks rewards member (love the app!) and the only thing I don't like is they can't scan my card (it's annoying to read my number to pay) AND they can't give you the rewards you earn from using your card. I get that it's not a "true" Starbucks, but it's still really annoying.

Definitely a busy location; filled with JWU students constantly. The long lines are quickly handled by the tons of staff working at once. Consistent good service!

I have never had a complaint with a Starbucks until I went to this location. This location has messed up my order on more than one occasion (what can I say? I like to give a place more than one try!) and they even call me "Bridget" sometimes. Not quite sure why. Anyway...the other day I took a couple of people to the polls and then here to get their free "I Voted" coffee. Their response? "We aren't doing that." Umm okay so where's the sign? "We don't have one." Umm okay. Well, I saw a commercial and these folks just voted so why aren't you doing it? "We're not corporate." Okay great. No problem. I'm not trying to scam the system or anything. Just would have been nice to have an "Oh I'm sorry we're not doing that because we're not a corporate store" or something similar instead of the response we received. (Btw we ended up going to the Financial District location and got their free coffee)

I love this Starbucks. I always get the caramel macchiato. They are really generous with the whipped/steamed milk and cream portion on the top of the espresso. Also, when my wife asked for little ice, they gave her just that, instead of overflowing the cup with ice when one gets an iced coffee. This place is my favorite Starbucks due to their generosity and willingness to listen. It's also connected right to J&W University and pretty busy all of the time.

I like this Starbucks cause it's kind of dark inside and feels cozy. I had a strange experience today though. They are doing buy one get one from 2-7PM, so I went in and ordered two drinks. The woman told me it wasn't 2PM yet, it was 1:58 and I'd have to wait 2 minutes. Really? I get it if it's part of their cash register or something, but she didn't say that, she just told me I'd have to wait till 2, so I had to step out of line. Other than that everyone is nice, so I'll most likely be back (especially since it's the closest one to my work).

This location has excellent seating and tons of outlets for charging your gadgets but the staff seem easily confused and overwhelmed.

I go to Starbucks A LOT, and this Starbucks is closest to where I live, so I go to this one quite a bit. However, this one is the most inconsistent Starbucks I've ever been to. They frequently mess up my order, and today, they loaded up my latte with extra milk and whipped cream. It actually tasted like straight up whipped cream, and I think they forgot to put expresso in it. After a couple of sips, I couldn't take it anymore. I opened up the lid, and the beverage was WHITE. They actually FORGOT to put espresso in the latte. Disgusting. The staff is also very rude. They get huge lines because it's right on the Johnson and Wales campus, and they get overwhelmed very easily and usually take out their frustrations on the customers. The only reason why I gave this review gets 2 stars and not one is because the location is great and they have a lot of comfortable seating. There are a lot of Starbucks in Providence so I'm going to avoid this one from now on.
