I walked here for coffee one morning this week. What a great experience! Even though it had just snowed, the path out side was clear and everything was stocked and ready to go inside. I did not have to wait in line at all and my ordered was filled within a minute or two. The store had a good selection of pastries, although I wish they had bagels. One downside to this location is that it has very limited seating. However, this store's traffic seems "slow and steady" so it doesn't seem like you have to worry about a line of caffeine-deprived patrons crowding your space. Store hours are also limited; it does not seem to be open in the evening hours.

I had the best experience Saturday of Labor Day weekend, she remembered my order when I as only in there one time. But then Sunday ruined it. Worst employee ever. I can't believe Starbucks employed her. Totally rude.

Good for your typical Starbucks drinks, but I was really disappointed to learn that they do not serve breakfast sandwiches or wraps. They don't have an oven at this location so you are restricted to oatmeal, granola bars, and the odd danish or cookie. It's not really in an accessible location unless you're on foot either. Again A-OK for a fly by iced coffee... you're typical, average, cookie cutter Starbucks!

No hot food? Wierd hidden entry? A non-corporate no scanner? All check. Pretty awful.

Starbuck's is the same everywhere and I wouldn't normally review it but I wanted to point out this is not considered a "corporate" location. This means that they don't accept coupons. You can earn your Starbuck's rewards stars here, but you can't redeem it for a free drink or get your bday drink, and you can't redeem any free drink or discount coupons. On the other hand, this location is usually not as crowded as the next closes places (Chestnut St and Biltmore).

It's a Starbucks. I came specifically because I needed free wifi. The only wifi that would connect is the Hilton and you need a room number and last name for it.

Just another Starbucks? Not quite. I prefer this one for its unique and charming interior. It's super friendly and conversational staff and the fact that, a few minutes before closing, the place is still open for business, fully stocked with helpful staff. On my most recent visit, I actually took a seat and started reading before realizing the place had actually "closed." Not that the staff prompted me to leave, or started closing the place. Another patron walked in and asked if it was too late to get a coffee. The friendly staff immediately proclaimed, no, it's never too late! Kudos, Hilton Starbucks, I'll be back soon!

Typical Starbucks interior but I must say that the staff was one of the quickest and up beat I have dealt with!! Kudos on not being coffee snobs!!

Located right next to the Providence Hilton is a cute little corner Starbucks. Now now...all you Starbucks haters can go sit in the corner while I review this place to the rest of you yelpers. The place is really nice and small with a great big window that has some comfy chairs available to people watch. It is across the street from the Dunkin Donuts Center (odd) and has wifi, great servers and a mean mocha jocha something or other. I do not know the Starbucks lingo, I just stand behind my wife as she orders and then when the register tells us the price, that's where Andy shines...I open my wallet and pay.

Hot damn, I have been waiting so long for this Starbucks to open, and now it's here! (We'll ignore the fact that my life has become so pathetic that the opening of a Starbucks is a major event for me and just focus on the review.) This is a small, clean Starbucks with very little seating, since a considerable amount of the already limited space is devoted to neatly organized displays of Starbucks merchandise. I was concerned that it would be overwhelmed by crowds from the nearby Dunkin' Donuts Center, but I stopped in just before a hockey game and found that this was not the case. People streamed by the store but barely acknowledged it; they must not have had time for coffee. The staff was super-friendly (one girl complimented my coat), and the meticulous barista put together the best soy latte I have ever had in a Starbucks. They were diligent too, spending their spare time cleaning up, offering samples to the crowd outside, and otherwise making themselves useful. I don't know if all of this goodness is simply because the store and the workers are new, but I hope it lasts. If it does, this will easily be the best Starbucks in Providence.
