I stopped by there one time and their special that night was "thanksgiving pizza". It had turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, and mashed potatoes, and was hands down the best piece of pizza I've ever had. I've been back a few times since and the pizza is great as long as you like think crust. There is a decent variety of slices and some tend to be creative which is good. They also have salads and sandwiches, however I have yet to try them. Fellini's is definitely a solid alternative to the usual places like Antonio's or Nice Slice on Thayer.

I popped into Fellini's on a whim the other night. The pizza was the best I've had this far in Providence. I'm a big fan of thin crust pizza and this is exactly what you will get at Fellini's, with a huge variety of speciality pizzas. They sell other non-pizza items as well. I thought the people working their were attentive and professional and the line, while long, moved quickly. Outdoor seating is definitely a plus. My only real complaint was the price. They charge 3-4 dollars for a slice. That's crazy!

Awesome thin crusted wheat based pizza... easy on the wallet & easy on the stomach. I give Fellinis two thumbs up!

We were having a birthday party for my dad and decided to order some pizza. We ordered one plain and one vegetable. The pizzas arrived in decent time, but that was the only thing good I can say. This was probably the worst pizza I have ever had. It was bland, tasteless and greasy. They did not tell us the price beforehand, (nor are there prices on the website). However, we thought, how much can two pizzas cost? The answer, at Fellini's is $40.00!!! Later on, my husband called to complain. He was told no manager was there to speak to. We are still waiting for them to call back...hmm. Bottom line, bad pizza and a complete ripoff

Fellinis large pizza is too expensive for me, but you can buy slices with all kinds of toppings-- this makes Fellinis unique....the slices are 4 stars and the hot pizzas out of the oven are 5 stars... the sandwiches are great....my favorite pizza is the spinachoke...try it you will like it.... Also, At different times, I get the Italian Wedding Soup or the Portuguese Sausage Soup....highly recommend-- In summary, the menu is a Hit-List.............

Fellini Pizzeria has some of the best pizza and sandwiches on the East Side. I love that you have the option to get your sandwiches on focaccia bread (something I always opt for). The sandwiches always taste like the veggies are fresh off the plant and the pizza dough is just right. I've heard that his place is open later than the bars down on the water but haven't had a chance to check it out myself. When the weather gets warm again, you can bet I'll be making may way though Fellini's on my walk home. The pastries are pretty good too.

Great pizza: thin yet flavorful crust, amazing toppings (try the veggies in the fall with winter squash!), pay by the slice, friendly staff, and cheap enough. Ideal pizza joint for when you want to treat yourself to a slice.

As far as their pizza is concerned, I like it enough to go when we don't want to bring it home or want barbecue chicken pizza instead of Pizza Pie-er's Cajun Chicken with green olives (which is really good). So the pizza is good. BUT the people who work there consistently SUCK at what they were hired to do (unless that includes being obnoxious). More than once have we called in an order, waited the 20 minutes we were told and walked in to watch the guy start making it. I get busy nights but not every time. The people who work there always seem to be more interested in each other than in actually working. There has not been a time when there has been someone working who owns the place or at least is managing. But we still like the pizza so when you go go with the expectation that you most likely will be waiting and the person taking your order will probably at the same time be catching up on whatever gossip is going on with her coworkers. You can save a few bucks by printing out their $2 off coupon from the website: fellinipizzeria.com/coup…

One of the better thin crust pizzas I have ever had. The crust has the right balance between crispiness and chewiness. They always have a wide selection of pizzas available by the slice as well as fresh salads. Their menu also has hot and cold sandwiches but I've always been very happy with the pizza.

this pizza is disgusting. what is wrong with people in providence????? even LITTLE CEASERS 5 dollar pizza tastes better. 2 this pizza is extreme thin crust. they gave me wheat dough even though i did not request it. it was burned in some places, yet completely uncooked in others. so soggy, i literally had to roll it up like a croisant and eat like a burrito. YEP!THIS PIZZA IS SO SOGGY, IT CAN'T EVEN BE FOLDED IN HALF TO EAT! the pepperoni is so small in diameter, but it tastes good. the italian sausage is like the kind you find on those frozen mama rose pizza's that you buy from the grocery store for a buck. I paid 25 bucks for this pizza, so I'm gonna choke down this disgusting mess but I will definately upload the pictures as soon as I get a chance. It is so nasty, I didn't even feel like taking more than two-one of the front and one of the bottom so you can see exactly what I'm talking about. I usually try a place a few times before I call it quits, but I will NEVER EVER EVER go to this place...and I have personally vowed to slap the cowboy piss out of any rhode islander I run into from this day forth who has the AUDACITY to reccomend fellini's for pizza. and they charged me an extra dollar and change to add green pepper...observe the measely amount of green pepper on the pizza. I could have brought a whole peck of peppers for that money and added it myself to this soggy disgrace. good luck with that. p.s. rhode island-visit any pizza parlor outside of your state, and you will find out that even mediocre pizza tastes better than this crap. .....maybe I should open up my own pizza joint here...I would make a killing because the "best of ri" is a pathetice excuse for anything italian or american-or even rhode island!i expect better from providence.

Pretty sure I love Fellini's, but I've honestly never been here sober. I vaguely remember big slices and lots of options. Extra star for them not kicking me out when I can't even walk.

If the pizza wasn't so great here it would be worth a trip just for the staff. Particularly Corrine. Walk in the door, if you hear a laugh that sounds like a foghorn that comes from underneath the counter...Corrine is in the house. She is a sweet force of nature and a real part of this wonderful place that has some of the best pizza in the state. The plain cheese slice is the best- wholewheat, thin crust: terrific. If you're bacon lover try the bacon pizza: unbelievable amounts of bacon woven in a lattice pattern over the cheese and tomato toppings. Fellini has been part of the Providence scene forever and has a huge, committed customer basis that it has earned with great food and great staff.

The best pizza I have had in Rhode Island in a long time. The staff isn't the friendliest but what do you expect living in the North East?! We ordered a "Go Ask Alice" which is fresh buffalo mozzarella, plum tomatoes, and fresh basil - it was awesome! The crust was cooked perfectly, it was slightly greasy but overall very tasty. A little pricey for pizza but worth it every once and awhile.

If you like NY style pizza which is thin and loaded with toppings you cannot find anywhere else, this is the place. Always busy but the staff handles it well.

Came back after 20 years and the counter is no longer plywood, but the pizza is still the best outside of Brooklyn. Amazing gem of a pizza joint!

a more healthy style pizza, lots of options by the slice, with a good sized salad and a drink all for $10? its hard to find much to complain about here at Fellini's. for me and anyone else who grew up in providence, this place remains a fixture with a history of loyal customers. of course, I will be back time and again. p.s. if you have a hard time deciding, go with any of the veggie pizzas and your tummy will be happy :)

So I visited Providence to see a high school friend of mine and we walked around the city. We actually walked so much I lost all faith that he knew where this pizza place he wanted to try was. And then we turned a corner and there it was, which is good as I was starving. So I walked in and was greeted by a cute girl who was very nice behind the counter. It just had a fun vibe to it. I got two slices. One had steak and Parmesan Peppercorn and the other had basil and tomato and sausage. They were both excellent. As a New Yorker, I enjoy my pizza. I would go with the special slices and not waste my tastebuds on the cheese. They did have a 2 slice deal with the cheese pizza and I'm sure its very good, but so many other choices. If you want pizza in Providence, this place is certainly worth the walk.

Delicious pie. The ratings on yelp are spot on. Lots of variety (I tried several) and all were really good. Lots of unexpected ingredients... scallion, butternut squash, shreaded beef... on and on. A nice chewy thin crust and a neat little location as well. The staff was also really cool and kind. They actually let me try a piece of pie after I commented that I had never tried anything like that. Very reasonable prices as well.

Fellini's is the best pizza in Providence. We live near Federal Hill but still get our pizza from Fellini's on Wickenden St. Our favorites are the buffalo chicken - perfect buffalo sauce to blue cheese ratio - and the mozzarella, tomato, and basil - simply delicious. Fellini's may be a bit pricey for take-out pizza, but it is well worth it. Why waste money on crappy pizza that is only kinda good? Pay the extra few dollars and get your pizza from Fellini's - you'll be glad you did.

    (5)
  • Elsa D.

the best of all the pizza options on the east side. great variety, often creative - and surprisingly yummy- combos, nice crust, good people. i love the steak and scallions slice. this one time, they had a chicken cordon bleu slice. O-M-G. haven't seen it since. and I think about it all.the.time. yes, it was that good.

Fellini's has become one of my favorite pizza places in Providence. I'm usually all about the crust, but Fellini's uses great cheese, making me a believer. Great salads too, and they have cans of Limonata in the cooler. Unfortunately the cheese pizza we ordered on our last visit was too gloppy, but that experience was an exception.

    (4)
  • Paul M.

Boss ordered pizza for the office from the other day, so I finally got to try the Satyricon. Surprisingly bland, and the under crust was awful - soft and damp, as though undercooked.

    (1)
  • Jim S.

I'm not a big fan of thin crusts, and that's all they have, but this is probably the best thin crust I've ever had. I guess the pieces are smaller now than they used to be because I had two pieces and was still hungry. A whole pizza is around $22, so just figure on getting a slice or two because that's way too much for a pizza...

    (4)
  • Liz B.

Pizza is good. Salads are decent. Salad toppings are excellent... roasted red peppers and delicious olives. There are no gluten free options (other than salads). The counter staff tend to get attitude later in the night so try not to place complicated orders or order a salad late night.

Okay. Too pricey for a soggy slice of pizza.

  • Earl G.

A solid 4 star establishment. Like other yelpers, I judge a place's pizze by their cheese pizza. As this was my first time at Fellini's, I tried the cheese. It was 2.25 per slice, and the slice was big. Their crust is thin and they do a good job with the right amount of cheese. They sell pizza by the slice and by the pie. They probably have about 7-9 small tables and do take-out as well. They even have a cool pinball machine inside. I would come back here again for sure.

  • G S.

I love pizza. I kept hearing great things about this place so I admit my expectations were pretty high. When T brought it home, the first thing I noticed was that it looked delicious. It was huge and cheezy and the crust looked perfect. When I began to eat the pizza, I wasn't impressed. I thought "Oh great another one of those Rhode Island things that I just don't understand"...BUT then I had it cold for breakfast the next morning. Mmmm now I know what people are talking about! Yummers!

Good place to go for a slice of a whole pie. They have many different combination on hand. Last time I stopped in I ordered the Code Blue. The pizza was great despite the damage to my arteries.

I have a special place in my heart for Providence, and a special place inside that special place reserved for Fellini's pizza. One of my closest friends from high school has lived in Providence for the past 4 years, and many good times have been had there. Come September, she will be moving to Miami for grad school so it's like an end of an era... the Providence Era, for our high school gang (which, 8 years later I'm proud to say, is still going strong). Anyway, I haven't been to Providence in over a year at this point, but hearing that my friend was leaving got me thinking of all the places I miss in Providence, and one of the first that came to mind was Fellini Pizzeria. Her house is very close to Fellini, so every time I'd visit, I would insist on a Fellini trip. Fellini's pizza is big on toppings, and while I tend to be a pizza purist (cheese or pepperoni only, thanks), I make an exception at Fellini because their pizzas are just plain good. My favorites are the buffalo chicken and the meat lover's code blue. Mmmm. They also have a pretty kick ass brownie for dessert. This place is no-frills, order at the counter, food served on paper plates... the way a pizzeria should be. You're awesome Fellini.... until we meet again.....

We ordered a few pizzas for my husband's birthday party. The white cheese pizza was a bit greasy, but still tasted good. The other pizza we got had artichoke hearts, roasted red peppers, and cheese (it may have had another vegetable or two - can't remember) was AWESOME! They also reheated really well, 10 min. at 300. We also got some brownies, blondies, and baklava, they were so yummy! We would definitely order from them again. They are a bit pricey, but worth it. Cute pizzeria for those who want to eat there, we had a slice while we were waiting. Staff is also very friendly, which is huge in my book.

Ahh, East Coast thin crust pizza! Not many places in California can get this one right, so I'm always looking for a good slice when I'm on the road. In my last trip to Providence I had the pleasure of finding Fellini. Is it the best? Not quite. Would I drive from California just to eat it again, as another reviewer has stated? Not quite. But this is a wonderful place if you're looking for a true thin crust pizza. I tried a slice of the white pizza, and a slice of pepperoni. The blend of cheeses on the white were great in flavor and texture. The pepperoni exploded with flavor and had a nice light crunch to the crust. The sauce was decent, but not mind blowing. Having eaten pizzas from various places around the world and more than I can count in our own country, I would definitely recommend Fellini to anybody looking for a good thin crust pizza. Just don't expect a smile from the cashier taking your order and cutting the slices. She's apparently there to earn a living, not make your day...

  • Chris K.

Good pizza, good toppings. I like how their chicken is not in chunks on the pizza like 99% of other pizza places. For late night Pizza this is definitely the place to go.

I tried Fellini Pizzeria for the first time today. It certainly won't be my last. The dough was amazing. A slight crunch with nice flavor and texture. The toppings were fresh and had the perfect amount. I am trying to figure out a way to get their weekly. This is the beginning of relationship I will enjoy immensely.

When I used to live in Providence a long long time ago, it was the best pizza in town. (I often went with their pesto slices.) But the dudes who worked there were often high as a kite, especially later at night.

In one word, Awesome! This is a smaller spot on the east side that from what it appears is like any other pizza joint. What it really is, is some of the best pizza I have ever tasted with great creations and cheap prices! Make sure to hit this spot! You wont be sorry!

  • Ryan W.

Great thin crust pizza, but the sandwiches I've had are mediocre. There are usually at least five kinds of slices to choose from, but all are pretty rich in flavor. I recommend picking one of the fresher looking ones as the quality goes down the longer they sit. Great place for quick pickup of good food.

Everyone RAVES about Fellini Pizza. I eat pizza about 3 times a year so I decided to order one from Fellini. I ordered one half margharita pizza and the other half sundried tomato and feta. The person who took my order seemed to have understood my order. When the pizza arrived, it was one half margharita and the other half had SAUSAGE on it! Good thing I am not a vegetarian. No biggie, I thought so I went to pick it up and it was BARELY COOKED. It was floppy and soggy! Luckily our workplace has a toaster oven because I had to cook each slice a full toast cycle for it even to get somewhat crispy. Still floppy, but thin crust is thin crust. I was very disappointed because I really was looking forward to pizza and I get soggy floppy expensive pizza, half of what I didn't even order so I figured I would just call Fellini to tell them I was disappointed. When I did, the unimpressed person on the other line explained that the person who took my order didn't understand what other half I ordered so that is why they put sausage on it - THEY ASK FOR MY TELEPHONE NUMBER -- WHY???? Anyway, I also told him it was soggy and undercooked and a huge disappointment. Did he apologize? NO. He just said Oh, okay. Very rude, conceited, unhelpful and not sorry for poor service.

pizza, which is what this place is all about, is fresh, original and scrumptious! try the cheesesteak pizza, one of my all time favorites. its also very affordable and sells pizza by the slice, so that you can: 1) get your food in no time and 2) try all different kinds of pizza! awesome! service is friendly (i once broke it down with one of the guys working there and started tearing up some tunes with him!). its also open late on weekends, so i have more than once ended up there late night when i was starved in the middle of the night! awesome place, immediately one of my faves in providence!

  • Erin C.

Totally delicious thin-crust pizza available by the slice (although, as Lee H. pointed out, they also have takeout and delivery service). They have a number of interesting varieties, all with good, high-quality toppings. Their veggie pizza includes butternut squash, and during my last visit I had a three cheese and garlic pizza with gigantic dollops of the creamiest, richest ricotta cheese I have tasted in a long time. They also have sandwiches, a small deli section, and indoor or outdoor seating. The guys behind the counter are very nice, even when they are busy. Fellini's is undoubtedly my pick for pizza on Providence's east side.

I threw up once from Fellini. The cheese wasn't right. I was happy with Fellini up until then. Never again never again. One nice thing is that they deliver.

I've lived in New York and Chicago, and yet this might be the best pizza I've ever had. I can't imagine anything I'd change about it, other than maybe making its slices bigger. I had the BBQ chicken pizza, which was amazing, and just a plain one, which was as good as it gets.

ooooooh!the cheese pizza with the white and wheat flour mix!highly recommended if you like thin crust pizza!(you can even get a buy one get one free in the entertainment book, only a $5.00 value, but thatll get you 2 big slices of whatever you wish);)

Really great, NY-style (thin crust) pizza. Interesting toppings. Great little casual pizza joint. My friend, Margaret, raved about it, so expectations were high. It really is solid pizza!

    (4)
  • Lee H.

Excellent NY-style (thin, crispy & doughy crust, large slices) pizza joint with delivery, take-out, and a small table area. Fellini's uses a mix of wheat & white flour in their crust, which is outstanding. Try the buffalo chicken pizza (buffalo style chicken, mozzerella cheeze, chunks of blue cheese). They're sandwiches are surprisingly good too, but the pizza is the main event.

    (5)
  • Jack C.

Pizzas are generally well balanced with ingredients and flavors. The crust is firm and thin, unlike some of the other places around town. I especially like the steak and scallion, though most of the pies are delicious. Overall, I would say Fellini is my favorite pizza in Providence. I deduct a star because service in the restaurant can be slow sometimes. Placing an order for delivery, however, usually is timely!

  • Josh B.

Fellini's gets more of my business that it otherwise would do its close proximity to my apartment and late hours. All in all, it is a good pizza place. The restaurant itself is clean, spacious, and comfortable; the menu is large and varied. I also appreciate their creativity with their specialty pizza slices, but after initial very positive experiences I have soured somewhat on them. The main problem is the cost. They are one of the priciest normal pizzerias I have come across, and there really doesn't seem to be a good reason for it. The pizza is not markedly better than Antonio's or Nice Slice (I actually prefer Nice Slice), nor is it markedly larger. Two plain slices should not cost close to $6. Obviously they have had success with their prices at that scale, since business is good, but that does not satisfy me as a reasonable explanation for their price-gouging. I would also appreciate a menu with updated prices. The blackboard in the restaurant displays one set of prices, but their menus display another, with a note advising customers that the prices have changed and are no longer accurate. The responsibility lies with the restaurant to provide a clear menu--not with the customers to figure it out for themselves. My friends have told me that their sandwiches are very good--and I believe them. Maybe I'll try one sometime and update my review. Regardless, the main draw for a pizzeria should not be its sandwiches; it should be the pizza, which for me is not worth the price. It's a better than average pizzeria in most respects, but below average on that, and as a poor recent college grad, I will choose more affordable options.

Nice pizza place on Wickenden street. Enjoy their selection of pizzas and sandwiches, with indoor and outdoor seating. You won't have to wait too long to get something to eat, and they stay open pretty late which is a plus. Not a huge fan of the pizza. Most of the time the pizza is thin and with a burnt bottom. It's saturated in oil and doesn't do much to my tastebuds. The sandwiches are better in that they are bulky, with a better preparation. I would come here for a quick slice now and then, but otherwise, not my favorite pizza place in providence.

  • Liz M.

Fellinis is one of the places I had never been to and am bummed I never went there. I was missing out. I first had the pizza there when I was at the dueling piano bar and had a pepperoni pizza there. It was huge and tasty. The ingredients are fresh and it was served hot. After trying the pizza that night I had to have it again. It's a small place and parking can be tough but it's worth waiting for it. Service is always friendly and they have many different flavor options. You can buy it by the slice or a whole pizza. Again hot and tasty. Quick too. They are open late too so a great option for a late night slice. They do not serve alcohol but it's a byob which is great. If your looking for a quick slice that's tasty this is the place to Go.

I left Whiskey after a few drinks on the water and headed to Shell to grab some mixers for my next destination. Hopped back in my boys car, he stares intently across the street "I dont know about you, but im about to grab me some Hot Pizza" I glared at that glowing sign, "shit, lets go" Headed in with no idea of what the place was called, walked over to the Providence Best Pizza Spot plaque, FELLINIS! I needed the name, It is my newly minted elitist duty to Yelp about this damn pizza joint. He grabbed a slice with sausage, pepperoni and some other shit, then grabbed a slice with pulled pork and provolone? im unsure. I asked the kind sir at the counter what his favorite slice was, he said White Pizza (ill pass) and The pulled pork slice that my boy grabbed. I asked for roasted red peppers on the side. After about 2minutes, the slices were ready for takeout. After playing frogger across the street, I was hungry. Fuck it lets eat right here in the car. Thats when the magic happened. I bit into that Pulled Pork and Real Love slice and I was enchanted. I added my roasted red peppers on top and it was the best thing ive put in my mouth all year. Not greasy, meat was juicy and full of flavor. Great crunch factor on the crust, with an amazing yeasty flavor. Im in love. That moment was just as reminiscent as when that critic in Ratatouille bit into Remy's (the rat) Ratatouille dish. It brought me back to my days at Roslindale House of Pizza when I was a kid. I am convinced. I am honored Please visit. Eat the pizza, you will be satisfied.

I have always loved the pizza, sandwiches, and beverages at Fellinis. My friend and I recently stopped by late on a Fri. evening after having dinner at Oasis and we ordered the Tiramisu and it was absolutely delicious...really light and perfectly flavored...combination of textures and flavors. We sat outside and enjoyed it on warm summer evening. I've been dreaming of it since. You really should try it...., no really!

Finally had a chance to come up here since I was in the area. Read about them back in Nov they have a thanksgiving pizza only done the day before. Came in and had two slices and I have to say is damn it good.

The pizza here is good. I have regular cravings for their white pizza. However, what is absolutely not to be missed is their badass delivery driver. With his sideways hat and mustang convertible, he can be seen cutting people off, not using his blinker and blowing through red lights all over the east side (keep an eye out for the delivery sign and keep out of his way!). If you see him on his way back in, don't expect him to hold the door for you or anybody else, he's way, way cooler than you are, so it's to be expected and understood.

Okay, so after coming back a few times (for dinner and late at night) by request of my boyfriend, Fellini's has won over my stomach. We stopped by on Halloween night around 12:30am and it was a god send having them open. The staff was super hilarious and accommodating. We've also been back during the day to pick up slices for a late lunch and the staff was much nicer. Slices to try: -Pesto and tomato -Mushroom -Insalatta -Chicken Broccoli Alfredo

We recently ordered take out from Fellini and were a little pissed since they lost our pizza order. When I went in to confirm my order I had to wait in line again. I was standing in line for 5 minutes getting more heated and when I finally reached the counter someone told me they were sorry but they were rushing my order since they found it. I would have expected someone to at least have told me while I was waiting in line I was all set. It also would have been nice for some other compensation. They are lucky that their pizza was amazing:) this would have been 5 star place. I also love that they can do half and half with their specialty pizzas.

I love the pizza, the blondie was one of the best I've ever had, and the convenience of good late night eats is much appreciated. The Thanksgiving pizza, the stuff of legends. The issue? This is one of those typical Providence hipster joints that treats you nicely during the day when you come in during lunch wearing professional clothing. Come in late night and ask more than one question and you get your head chopped off. I had two coupons for free slices from the Rhode Island Food Fights pizza passport deal. The girl behind the counter claimed only one could be used per person. I responded by explaining that this is not mentioned in the stipulations of the passport and that most people purchased two passports anyway due to special promotions. I was very courteous. She responded with, "We'll, at this hour, I don't even give a sh*t, so I'll just give it to you." This may be acceptable to some, but not to me. Young hipster kids and folks stumbling in from the clubs don't deserve this attitude and neither do I. Although I was disappointed, the pizza is so great that I can't give anything less than 4 stars.

Very nice place in quaint pawtuxet village. I had the muffuletta and my wife had the Italian grinder. Both were very well prepared on fresh bread with fresh ingredients. Will try the pizza next time.

Pizza, subs and salads....Fellini's has you covered. The menu is simple and straight forward but they definitely have some tasty looking specialty pizzas, which you can get as a whole or by the slice. The subs here were a good portion size and full of flavor. The Italian grinder was stuffed full and done just right, and the meatball parm on their homemade focaccia bread was incredibly delicious. As other reviewers have mentioned, the downside here is the counter service. I'm not sure if it is intentional or not but when taking my order the woman behind the counter came off rather rude. I tried to look past it because I was taking my order to go. I don't know if I'd stick around to dine in here but the food is good and I would certainly be back for another take out order.

Been here a couple of times. Great rustic pizza. Fresh toppings makes it that much better. Starting to be a regular place for lunch.

Nice little pizza joint. They play great funk music that makes you wanna dance. There is some outdoor seating in the front as well. They have some great specialty slices. My brother loved his chicken parmesean sandwich. I had the antipasto salad and it was delicious and fresh. Their house balsamic vinaigrette was great. Not too pricy either. I'd go back for sure.

When the mood strikes and you absolutely must have a gigantic slice of hand-tossed pizza, this is the place. Their selection is always changing and unique... Last time I was here there was squash on my veggie slice (delish) and today the meatball, ricotta, and caramelized onion was out of this world good. I can never resist their desserts, either. Love the whoopie pies!

Easily one of the best pizza places around slices are big and priced right and ready quickly. As if that wasn't enough the pizza is delicious and there are some many options available the white pizza is a great choice if your looking for something a little odder try the kitchen sink - pasta on pizza is crazy an delicious

I am still being nice for my two star. I want to still give this place a chance. The first time I had pizza from them was last year. It was one of the best pizza I had. A friend introduced me to this place and he absolutely loves Fellini's! And so okay...let me try it. I had their all meat flavor at that time and it was really good! I told myself that yes, from now on everytime I want pizza, I will go to fellinis. Second time I ordered it was another all meat but that time was horrible! There was meat, white cheese, and a white dressing in the pizza. Really?!! What kind of flavor is that? I had one slice and then gave away the rest of it. I almost felt sick having that pizza! After few months I went again. I ordered two days ago and I had their buffalo wings flavor. Hello?? That wasn't even a chicken! It felt as if it was a sticky dough with buffalo flavor. And it says with blue cheese. It wasnt specific that it was a blue cheese DRESSING. Hello?? Please specify items in the flavor when guests ask you! Very disappointed. Now I dont know if I will still be back or when i will be back to try them again. Horrible. Good luck.

I wouldn't consider myself a pizza snob; all pizza is good pizza - this just happens to be better pizza. Service at Fellini's over the years has been hit or miss but it seems to have improved more recently. I crave their pizza and I probably shouldn't be allowed in the fox point neighborhood anymore....I'm also going to confess that I ate the BBQ Chicken pizza for breakfast this morning. It's a whole wheat, thin crust in lots of well constructed flavor profiles. This Philly Cheese Steak is a favorite but every slice I've had was exceptional. I think that this is the best pizza in Providence. That is all.

Good pizza. Slice sizes have gradually shrunk all over town and it's the same here (they're about 2/3 the size if a NYC slice). Fellini is a little pricier than local competitors that sell pizza by the slice (currently about $4/specialty slice). Nothing I've tried is particularly remarkable, but still. It's pizza. It hits the spot.

I have Fellini's rather often because of its proximity, and it's pretty solid pizza--but I'm not going to lie, there are higher quality pizza places in Providence. The pizza is NY style, THIN crust, and w/ a wide variety of interesting combos. The "Spinachoke" is probably my favorite white pizza of theirs. The "Sweet Heaven" is seriously to die for, topped w/ parmesan sauce, ricotta cheese, bacon, and scallions. It's literally death on a platter, but oh such sweet sweet heaven. My biggest gripe w/ Fellini is that sometimes, the crust is SO thin that it gets droopy if you don't eat it right out of the oven. I also feel like because it's thin, if I take it home, I need to re-bake it over and over again as I'm eating the pizza to keep it from getting cold too quickly and subsequently droopy. But overall, it's a solid pizza, and far better than your chain commercial brands. Definitely a quality choice if you're in a rush or need something convenient on your way to watch a game.

Fellini's is one of my favorite pizza places on the globe. Their slices are creative, flavorful, and delicious. The spinach pies are to die for; thin, salty, melts in your mouth. A bit pricey, but it's Providence so...all relative. Awesome Greek salad, too!

  • Carla R.

This is some seriously good pizza, im from nyc so it's hard for me to say that about pizza from any other place! The pizza is super flavorful, nice crispy crust, cheesy and smaller pepperoni than im used to but it was amazing! I wish there was a fellini in nyc!! Gooo you will not regret it! Staff was nice and helpful even brought our pie to go outside to us!

    (5)
  • Chintan M.

This is most likely the best pizza we have had in Providence!! Totally recommend it...especially, if you are looking for a New York style pizza (this is the closest thing you will find to NYC style pizza).

    (4)
  • Alexandra L.

The last few times we ordered delivery, the pizza either wasn't fully cooked, or super sloppy, sticking to the box. Super slow delivery time too. I would recommend take-out or dining in. Still good 'za but there are tons of places in PVD that have awesome options to consider.

Bomb ....found this spot by accident. ...BEST PIZZA I HAVE EVER HAD!! The crust was full of flavor alone. ..had the pulled pork pizza........heaven on yeast! Hands down........game over.....the staff was bomb too!

I haven't eaten here since I graduated from college and left Providence in 1998, but I still miss this pizza! One of my top three pizza places of all time, and this coming from someone who could eat pizza for all three meals, seven days a week. If you're lucky enough to live in Providence, trying this place is a must.

    (5)
  • Connie W.

Fellini is one of my favorite pizza stops in Providence! Providence has quite a few must-try pizzas, and here they are, in no particular order: Fellini's steak and scallion pizza Fellini's squash and scallion pizza Fellini's spinachoke pizza Al Forno's grilled appetizer pizza (any of them!) Nice Slice's almond, spinach, cranberry, feta pizza Bob and Timmy's lasagna pizza (to DIE for) Antonio's white pizza (huge gobs of ricotta) Haven't yet tried Providence Coal Fired Pizza but it's next on the list! But as you can see, Fellini is definitely up there. I think they strike a nice balance between the whole wheat crispy crust of Nice Slice with classier flavor combos, and the heftier creamier Antonio's slice that just hits the spot. Don't miss their desserts, sandwiches, and the spinach pie with melted cheese inside! Also check out the pinball machine.

  • Michael V.

Pizza- thin crust and also sold by the slice. Had the steak scallion and pepperoni. Pizza is not greasy and scores major points for not being something you regret eating after. Fresh ingredients. Brownie-the brownie caught my eye and was AMAZING. It was fudgey and moist. Definitely homemade. Price- its a little pricey here. (Specialty pizza $25) but its totally worth it. If you dont mind paying alittle extra for quality this is the place for you.

    (5)
  • Joanne D.

Often great pizza but recently the quality is variable. At times the crust is so thin the topping falls off. I just had to return pizza slices because the quality was so bad the crush so thin I couldn't hold it.

Providence has some pretty wonderful options for pizza, and Fellini is certainly no exception to that fact. I've been coming here with my wife for a couple months now, and we've never been let down. One day, she was in the mood for pizza, and we had already exhausted our usual haunts (Antonio's and Nice Slice). On a whim, I suggested Fellini Pizzeria because I faintly remembered my cousin saying it was a good place to dine a year or so ago. Well, let me tell you, if Antonio's and Nice Slice are college, this place is freaking adulthood. The atmosphere isn't nearly as trendy, but rather, very classic. It's the sort of place you'd imagine your old Italian papa going to as a young lad (you'll know what I mean when you walk through the door). Single slices are displayed in a glass case, and offer a wide variety of topping combinations. My wife and I are both vegetarian, and were pleased to notice the vegie/meat-option ratio was pretty even. The staff behind the counter are gruff and loud-mouthed, just the way I like it in a New York style pizza joint. It's a very "Cranston" group, if you know what I mean. On our most recent visit, my wife and I were super hungry and just all-out ordered a whole pie. Which, I might add, is very big! About the size of your standard large pizza from a big chain like Domino's or Pizza Hut. However, the price too, was very big! The total with one topping (pineapple) came to about $20, plus I threw in a %15 tip on top of it for good measure. If you're in the area and want a clean, traditional pizza place, Fellini Pizzeria is your stop!

  • Ryesk F.

Thin crust pizza, a bit better than average for the region, and their other menu items have been fairly good, but the prices are crazy. Fellini is an institution on Fox Point, and I've had many a decent late-night slice, but they seem to have a chip on their shoulder or something--for their quality, pizzas with several toppings shouldn't be in the mid-to-upper-$20 range. And almost none of the pre-fab pizza types on their menu are appealing, they're all too few things, or too many weird ones. Hipster pizza.

    (3)
  • Debbie G.

If I could give Fellini's zero stars I would! This was the worst pizza I have ever eaten. The crust was so tough and droopy I could hardly chew it. The meat pizza was covered with long strips of greasy bacon and the white pizza was even worse. I've better pizza at Chuck E Cheese. Forget this place and go to Tony's, it rocks!

  • Gail A.

I must say this is some of the best pizza in Providence love their thin crust and Love their unique toppings

  • Dustin S.

Great pizza at a great price! We had two pizzas the meat lovers and the GO ASK ALICE. The meat lovers was awesome and I liked ever bite however I ended up eating more of the GO ASK ALICE because it was outstanding flavor and cooked to perfection. I am not a pizza connoisseur nor do I claim to be but we were looking for something better than domino's and different and we found it. And the biggest thing is that they offer a military discount only on Fridays which is better than none at all!!!!

When you're looking for pizza in Providence, there is an endless supply and choices at any time of the day for you to choose from. Today, curious passerby, I will be giving you the highlights of this fantastic Providence establishment located on Wickendon. Can I just first say that I got lost on the way to finding this place? For whatever reason I thought it was on Hope street but nope it's not. For many of our conferences, we often order from Fellini's because they have an outstanding list of original fresh ingredient mixed pizzas. I strongly encourage you to give them a try. They have chicken/broccoli (much tastier than the name implies), chicken pesto, BBQ chicken, meat lover code blue and more! They also have hot and cold sandwiches, places where you can sit in the restaurant and above all, they deliver anywhere in Providence. As with most pizza places, telephone in your order before you get there so you can pick up at the time of delivery. They have great staff that are quick to address your order. Of the pizzas I find in Providence this is tied for number 2! (number one being al forno's calamari pizza!)

Amazing pizza and really nice, outgoing staff. Plus they have brownies and free wifi, so it's kind of heaven.

I've been coming to Fellini's for almost ten years now. The pizza is thin crust and while you will find your standard cheese and pepperoni there, you will also find an assortment of less conventional flavors. I recently tried the feta, tomato and spinach. It was great. The pizza isn't overly greasy or bogged down with toppings. All in all, it's pretty good. Two slices will cost you around $7 and they're decently sized. The staff were very friendly and helpful and it is a pretty family friendly place. Try it if you have a hankerin' for pizza while visiting Wickendon.

The pizza here is AMAZING. I often eat at a restaurant with specialty pizzas at home so I thought this place would be similar. I was wrong! Basically the same concept when it comes to various ingredients often not thought of to put on a pizza but Fellini's is unbelievable. The ricotta cheese they use is to die for and to add bacon on top of that is ridiculous. Definitely need to try this place out. The cannoli is also amazing!

  • Lauren M.

This place seems to get a lot of love, but we were seriously disappointed. We ordered a half cheese and half pepperoni. The price was pretty steep--over $20 but we had a $5 coupon that made the price better to take. However, it was horrible. We each had one slice, decided we'd rather feel like we wasted $15 bucks than be sick, and threw it away. I've had plenty of cheap cheese on pizza, but this was disgusting. It had a weird pattern to it, like a honeycomb. There was barely any sauce underneath as well. Gross. We won't be ordering from them anytime soon--or ever.

I couldn't resist the Sweet Heaven pizza. It was fantastic! I really enjoyed all the powerful flavors that left you wanting more. Fellini Pizza is a hot little shop in a great location. Staff was a little slow getting my order but it was ok because they were dealing with difficult customers. I also got a $2 off coupon for my next purchase.

My husband and I had the pleasant treat of being bought here by our awesome friends, who are regulars, after a night of drinking. We had one plain, one pepperoni and one Alfredo slice each.. There we sooooo delicious that we had to have three!! The slices were fresh, thin and flavorful! We came really late so many of their more crafted pizzas were out. But there will definitely be a next time! Also I saw they have a lot of assorted desserts that look great! Being from NY I've had my fair share of amazing pizza and I wish we had Fellini's in the city!! Good pizza spot! Must go to if you're in Providence!

  • Marissa G.

I went here only because it was near by, but I was pleasantly surprised. If you are looking for classic Pizza, I probably wouldn't go here, but this place offers a new kind of pizza. My favorite is the mushrooms and squash - a delicious combo. I was less impressed by the meat pizza as it did not taste fresh at all. Another treat is the salad- plenty of veggies loaded on there. As far as the atmosphere, I almost never sit to eat. It's nothing special, but a comfortable pizza-y vibe. I definitely recommend it! It's one of my staples.

I've been in a few times both for slices and for whole pizzas, always delicious. Got their Thanksgiving Pizza today, only on the Wednesday before the holiday. Wow that thing is tasty. A bit messy and loaded up, but tasty nonetheless.

  • Bianca G.

Fellini has yet to disappoint me, so delicious and awesomely inventive with their pizza! Don't miss out on their Thanksgiving pizza! It's good pizza, a chill environment, and it's open late. Enough said.

  • Ron F.

The rudest bunch of ***** if I've ever seen any. Horrible customer service, over priced and mediocre taste. It seems odd how many people like this place, it is by far the worst pizza experience I can think off.

    (1)
  • Pam K.

HEALTH CODE VIOLATIONS make me NOT want to eat here! Was immediately turned off because the guy who handles the pizza also handles the money. Some of you might say who cares and you've never gotten sick but that's disgusting and a health code violation for a reason! I also didn't think the couple of flies swirling around the pizza made me want to eat there either. Also, I like music but they had the music SO brutally loud that it was painful. I heard other customers comment but the guys that work there aren't thinking about us, only them. And I didn't see anyone who appeared to be a manager or owner so the employees can do whatever they want. There are plenty of amazing pizza joints in RI without having to deal with this. If all of you Yelpers don't care about what I've addressed above, and love their pizza, good for you, but we will definitely go elsewhere.

  • Phillip L.

I had a delivery order and wanted slices of the Satyricon because it was just me and I didn't want leftovers or to have to throw any out. They didn't have any slices ready, but made a whole pizza, sold me three slices and delivered it to my hotel room. PERFECT. The pizza itself was pretty good but my crust was a bit soggy. It may have just been because it was put directly into a box though. It still tasted great! ADDITION: I liked it so much that I came back the next day for a couple slices before bed since I had to be up and on the road super early. I ordered two slices and when I opened the box at my hotel there were three! Boom, extra star. You guys rock.

Pizza is the best 'pizza by the slice" place in providence, but their customer service is terrible. The wait staff is straight rude. The pizza however, is phenomenal experience overall was unenjoyable due to the rude behavior of the staff as a whole.

    (2)
  • Stephanie R.

This is really the Mecca of all pizza places. Chowing down on an enormous slice or nom-ing on an entire large pizza is your choice-but either way your going to feel like a winning contestant on the price is right. The variety in both the slices available and the actual food you can order is usually pretty extensive. They also have a whole deli-ish counter where you can buy delicious pastries like baklava or brownies. The pesto tomato is my absolute favorite and cannot be missed. They deliver which is a plus- and they'll even deliver it right up the street to the Wick pub if your too lazy to walk several blocks down to get it yourself. Overall, for the best pizza in Providence follow the hipsters off of Thayer, take a right and eat until you need to loose up those constricting suspenders of yours!

    (5)
  • Linda C.

Great place for a quick slice of pizza. So many different slice options! If you have more time, try the Italian grinder with everything on it. The bread is perfectly toasted and has the right amount of meat and dressing. Been here many times and the service has always been good.

  • Meg M.

Delicious, unique pizza. Great place to stop in for a slice. Don't even think about ordering delivery from here. I once called to order delivery and the man who answered the phone laughed at me and told me they were far too busy to make a delivery. Pizza pie-er right up the street is delicious and has very efficient delivery if that's what you're looking for!

    (3)
  • Thomas W.

If you don't want a slice of pizza that has been sitting there for a hour or so. You need to spring for a large $20+ pie??? Please find a middle ground. Also too, the delivery policy SUCKS. You'll drive 20 minutes to a house in providence to deliver. But not 5 minutes to a house in East Providence?!?!

    (2)
  • Matt E.

My favorite pizza place in Providence (i'm confident i've tried most if not all of them). I love the unique types of pizza you can get. Its so good too! I've never actually been to the restaurant so I can't comment there (I always get delivery) but I think this place is in the upper echelon of pizza places in Providence which is difficult to do.

    (5)
  • Molly O.

I'm not usually a fan of thin crust but Fellini's is GOOD. They offer fresh local toppings and they make unique combos. My favorite thing to get- Spinach pie. Its a calzone/hot sandwich full of cheese and spinach. Probably the most delicious thing on earth. Pair that with their Greek salad and you have yourself a meal worth screaming about. The Greek salad is covered with Feta, and Olives and other tasty ingredients.

" One star. It's "too comfortable" in it's reputation! I was there June 28, 2013/ staff was spraying clorox cleaner around our eating area, pizza was greasy, over priced, and unfriendly staff. Bathroom was gross. This was in the afternoon. This is not thee first time I had this experience and I've heard a few other folks with the same complaint.

Fellini's pizza is good. However, my experience this week turned me off. I ordered two pizzas to be delivered. The order was not correct, and to top it off, the side of the box included my name, address, complete credit card number, and card expiration date. I noticed this as I was about to put the box outside for the trash. This suggests to me that this business has a complete disregard for their customers, if they do not find it necessary to protect patrons' sensitive information. Although the pizza is good, it is not worth weathering the questionable customer service and very expensive price.

I stumbled upon Fellini's with my friends last night looking for a late night spot to study. The pizza I had last night was unlike anything I have ever tasted. I couldn't decide between the bacon pizza with the carmelized onion, gorgonzola (maybe?) and blue cheese or the salami and sausage with provolone. It was flavorful, delicious, and each ingredient complimented the other SO very well. It may be the best single slice I've ever tasted. Then, to top the already outstanding and personable service, one of the workers sent over a slice of the salami and sausage pizza because "he could just tell I was going to love it". They've made a loyal fan out of me. I will be going to Fellini for as long as I live in Providence.

First visit this week. Can't believe I've never been here before. EXCELLENT, top notch NY style pizza. LOVE it! And I also had a meatball sub, which was out of this world too. The only bummer is parking. There is none. So if you're driving, expect to have a little patience, and maybe have to drive around the block a couple of times to find someplace to park nearby.

Can't believe I haven't written a review previously! My dad used to take us there on Sundays for a slice or two so I always loved visiting Fellini's. Went in this past weekend and although the selection is argued to be smaller than Antonio's, the pizza, and the ingredients are just so expertly crafted in comparison. I love that they use different cheeses than the standards! I ordered the white pizza with spinach and provolone which is simply Mediterranean heaven in a slice, and my bf ordered a BBQ steak with American cheese... The service at these places is standard, the only thing I thought was odd was that when we ordered our slices to go the cook asked if we wanted them heated but maybe that's a common request? All in all maybe they don't have 20 types of pizzas but the 10-12 they do have available at any given time are better quality then the competitors even of the competitors throw everything but the kitchen sink on their pies! Thanks fellinis for an guarantee of quality pizza every visit!

    (5)
  • Liz V.

Randomly walked into this place when the bf and I were new to the area and starving. Very pleasantly surprised to see just how many of their offerings were available by the slice. Also loved that they didn't come straight to is, but were rather swiftly re-baked so they tasted as hot and fresh as when they originally came out of the oven. Plus, the slices are huge! They do deliver, and I've used this service before. I highly recommend their white pizza if you are into that. The best I've ever, ever had. Crust is thin, but still substantial enough not to completely fall apart, and the cheese is really flavorful. Some things I don't love about the place: they don't have a drink fountain. Everything is by the bottle. Also, a little pricier than, let's say, Pizza Hut. I don't think they offer more sizes of their pizza than just a large, and I think I paid at least $18 the one time I got a full pie.

  • Annamarie T.

Great spot to grab a quick slice of pizza, after a night on the town. The thin crust pizza is pretty good, not as good as a NY slice, but not the less still tasty. Open late and right between the waterfront and the bars on Wickenden making it the perfect spot to grab a late nigh bite. Overall, the pizza is good but not a destination shop for me, but great if your in the area.

  • Kay P.

Been to Fellini's many times cos its so close to home. Tried something reallllllly out of the box today like way out. Gorgonzola pineapple and a touch of cranberry sauce (yes from a can with its gelatinous goodness). Woah damn its the perfect bite of sweet from the pineapple and cranberry mixed with the sharp slap of gorgonzola. Thought it was out of my league, but I do put cranberry sauce on everything. This whole convo makes me want Thanksgiving dinner now! A must try people. Get some.

Great pizza but completely disorganized as a business. Lost orders, late deliveries, poor customer service... If you can deal with these issues, the pizza really is terrific. Eat in or pick up, don't order delivery...

Staff was super friendly. Wickenden pie was delicious! 22$ for all specialty pies. They also have an assortment of gourmet food and a bunch of tasty looking treats! I got the blondie 3$ saving that for later :) will definitely be back!

Who knew Fellini's was BYOB?!?! I just made your day, didn't I! The most wonderful thin crust, wheat dough, topped galore pizza. They put everything from meat to squash, pasta to peppercorn dressing on their pizza and it's just amazing. Open late night - and yes, that's when it tastes the best. Also have a terrific garden salad and grinders.

  • Mark S.

Pizza - Yay!!!!!! Service - BOOOOOOO!!!!! I have been coming here for years and will continue to do so since they turn out great pizza. But the service is just so rude and unnecessary. They seriously need to drop the attitude. You're not that cool - you grab the pizza slices I point to and then put them in a box. A monkey could do your job. If the attitude comes for you being unhappy with the job then you should just quit.

Just tried this place on lunch break and YUM. I had a bacon, gorgonzola and carmalized onion pizza, delicious! I bought two GIANT slices and a large sode $8.00. I was full, satisfied and it didn't kill the wallet. Me gusta.

  • Jay B.

I"m a NY'er and take piza seriously. Although i love my plain slice (with the exception given to Artichoke Bassille's), this place was amazing!!! The overloaded bacon one was perfection in a slice. My friend got the coleslaw and kilbasa one which was from another realm and the tomato and gorgonzolla slice was just what i was in the mood for. I had no service issues. The only thing i was sad about was that the aforementioned coleslaw one sold out and i wanted ANOTHER SLICE!!! I would return, next time for a whole pie of the coleslaw&kilbasa.

Ok I'm not saying the pizza isn't good but the staff, especially the little short women who works behind the counter should not be working in a business like this. RUDE.....RUDE..... Very rude to customers especially women. You can't ask for anything extra without her saying something snotty or rolling her eyes. She needs some retraining for sure. Some people just don't appreciate the fact that they have a paycheck.

My new favorite spot to grab a slice for lunch! I hold pizza joints that sell by the slice in very high regard! To be able to walk into an establishment and have lunch practically waiting for you behind the glass is truly one of the best things about being American. Fellini is just down the hill from my photography studio, and it's proven it's a quick and easy spot to grab a slice of whatever they're cooking up to have as a quick lunch on busy days. They have quite the selection of non traditional slices to keep things interesting. I'm a fan!

DON'T BOTHER. From bad to worse. I won't waste my time here anymore. A word to the owner of this place- fire your staff and start all over. They are rude, mean individuals. Also, $4.00 for a slice of pizza? C'mon. You only ever have the most expensive slices available. What kind of pizza place doesn't have a cheese slice out at all times? And the brownie I ordered tasted like garlic and onions because your staff person didn't bother to wash their hands, wear gloves, or use wax paper to serve my brownie. GROSS.

I feel very lucky that this is my neighborhood pizza joint. The thin wheat pizza crust and great toppings combinations (my favorite is tomato pesto) make this especially good pizza. I'm not giving it 5 stars only because it is a little pricey.

This is an easy review. Simply put. The closest NYC style pizza you will find in RI. Solid Pie! A little pricy. But worth it compared to the "other" crap pizza you find in this state.

I can imagine that the young men behind the counter deal a lot with people like us. And by people like us I mean the people that came in to chase off our buzz with some pizza after being at the Wickendon pub. The people who...after already ordering the pizza...realized that their debit card was missing and might not have the money to pay for said pizza. Yeah, we were those people. But at least we weren't the girl who came in yelling and screaming drunk off her gourd. Oh! But the pizza! We had the pesto pizza and added ricotta to it. I swear that combination could go on cardboard and it would taste good! But this! This was heavenly! And if you get an entire pizza it was huge! I swear we ate 400 slices, and there were still 400 slices left over. It was that kind of pizza that you can hardly fit on the table. I will definitely come back here again.

This place is fine, but I really don't get why so many people seem to think it's the greatest pizza in the world. Yes it's tasty, yes there are a variety of toppings, but it's waaaaaaaaaaaaaay overpriced for what you get, and the only coupon I've ever seen is the $2 off one on their website, which barely makes a dent in the price of this stuff. I ate in with a friend and we got three slices, one cannoli and two drinks. It was nearly $20, and I wasn't even full when I left. The second pizza I ordered from them was the insalatta, and they just piped on piles of ricotta cheese. It was soggy and gross and I scraped it off. Who wants an entire mouthful of ricotta? Is it just me? That's weird, right? The staff always seem surly and overworked even though it's rarely busy when I go there. Seriously, someone explain to me why the rest of the world thinks this place is the greatest. It can't all be just drunk college kids.

I recently started working in the Downtown area and couldn't wait to start trying all the new and fun places to eat just steps away. As a vegan, I thrive on trying every restaurant in hopes that they can accommodate my dietary restrictions without fuss and my co-worker suggested to try Fellini's since she loves it so much. Upon calling for delivery, I was about to inquire what the ingredients were in the Focaccia bread and was informed rather vaguely that I shouldn't worry because it is vegan (my caller ID says: Vegans Rock!) so that was definitely a good save. I went ahead and ordered the Veggie Special w/ a Garden Salad and let me say, I was pleasantly surprised! The sandwich was super tasty although way too greasy for my taste (which gave me a stomach ache, but I'll blame that on my mostly raw vegan diet). The salad was missing several ingredients that were supposed to be included so I ended up giving it away but I do hope that in the future, they decide to provide dark leafy greens instead of regular cabbage lettuce for a more nutritional value). I would love to try them again but I have to say, their phone etiquette isn't the best and it left me leaving like I was a bother & an inconvenience when I called back to say that my co-worker gave me a coupon. All in all, Fellini's will get a second chance if I'm able to order my cooked vegetables a different way. BONUS: They include Free Delivery (to anywhere in Providence, I believe) and was quoted an ETA of about 45 minutes but they were here in about 30mins or less.

Fellini makes some decent thin crust pizza... In fact, it may be some of my favorite pizza in the PVD, aside from the fancy grilled stuff you can get elsewhere. I particularly like their BBQ chicken pizza by the slice. Something wonderful happens when they reheat it in the oven - the crust crisps up perfectly, the cheese caramelizes and the sauce on the chicken cooks up just enough to impart the right amount of flavor. Delish. The counter service can be spotty, and I prefer to take my pie with me rather than stay, but it's far from unpleasant. They serve decent salads, subs and other items, as well.

Cranston Location: tried the new place twice. First time was great... Friendly service, delicious pizza (though the sauce was way, way too sweet). Second time... Utter fail! Surly cashier would barely acknowledge us. Gave us pepperoni instead of the mushroom we ordered, hardly any sauce whatsoever, cheese was beyond the limits of salty! Very nearly inedible! I have never ditched leftover pizza in my life but this was beyond saving! Come on Fellini's... We want to love you! Pull it together!

Great pizza toppings, on good thin crust pizza. The chicken pesto sandwich is pretty fantastic too. The food is pretty heavy, especially with more toppings, and can get pretty greasy because of that, but it's definitely filling and tastes great. The staff is pretty laid back and friendly, and there's plenty of seating. Fellini's is open late and is great for large groups. The prices can get pretty steep especially with larger orders, but the pizza is definitely worth it in my opinion.

Hands down, Fellini's has the best pizza in Providence. I'd argue they have the best pizza in the state, and probably the best I've had in the You. Ess of Aye, but that may be too broad a statement. The pesto pizza is out of this world and their crust is like nothing else you'll try. My only complaints are that they close to early and, if you come in within an hour of that closing time, the staff will probably get pretty pissy with you. Then again, I can't blame them, and a little curtness is worth it for the product they offer. Not to be missed.

LOVE love love the topping choices! Very awesome veggie choices... even the meat ones look good. Their sauce is perfect, their crust is divine! PRETTY PRICEY but worth it. They gave us some burned pizza when I ordered a few on Friday night. they sent me a gift certificate in the mail to make up for it. That was the one and only time we had an issue with their product and they cared enough to do something. Keep it up!

The apotheosis of fancy-pants thin-crust pizza, performed by hipsters. Gourmet thin-crust pizza has become a bit effete as of late, with restaurants such as Cambridge 1 and Penguin Pizza in Boston serving a smattering of toppings on essentially a matzo wafer and calling it refined. Fellini has resisted the trend, and has managed to achieve the oxymoronic filling thin-crust pizza. My favorite is "The Kitchen Sink," a $24 masterpiece with mozzarella, feta, peppers, pepperoni, and PENNE PASTA (!), along with several other ingredients, to produce a greasy medley of flavor. Crust constitution is right on the line between lift-and-bite vs fork-and-knife, at least for the first few bites. Try a slice first if the whole pizza seems daunting. 2 slices are good enough for dinner. Compare this with needing a snack after downing a whole Cambridge 1 "pie." Crust hardens a bit when cold, but softens in the microwave. Dining in is an excellent option. Fancy sodas of the Jones variety are available, as are copies of the Boston Globe to pick through as you attack your pizza.

If you're running out for a slice and desire thin crust pizza with good toping combinations and lots of "white" (non-tomato) options, this is the place. If you want pizza and beer, this is also the spot as they're BYOB! Ambiance is very casual.

Hands-down the absolute best pizza outside of New York City that I have ever tasted! $12 for 3 slices is a little pricey. That would almost be two large pies in New York City.

I had high hopes for Fellini's, but wasn't quite impressed both times. My first order was their pizza the Sweet Heaven, and man was it greasy. I chalked it up to delivery time, which was about 40 minutes. The next time I grabbed a quick garden vegetable slice, and grease was dripping down my hand. I do like their crust though, so I will give them another shot. And open late night!

The pizza is decent. The place stays open nice and late. And there are a couple arcade games. Everything is okay except for the music they play over the loudspeakers. It's REALLY, really loud, to the point where you are shouting to be heard by the others at your table. And this music is often a life-threatening mix of rap-rock, hair metal, and Elvis. There's seating on the sidewalk, but they blast the music out there as well. No escape.

RUDE. I have lived here for two years and eaten their pizza a number of times, including tonight. I will NEVER go back again due to their extremely rude staff. We showed up for dinner at 7:30 PM for pizza. There was no line and as we viewed our choices (since there are no signs you need to ask for what is on the pizza) the women behind the counter rudely rushed us along. One of our group asked for a piece and she put it in the oven and he then decided he wanted one more and she rolled her eyes and glared at him before she rudely told us all to order at the same time. She then preceded to stack all the pieces together (I am a vegetarian) and was annoyed we were not eating in. The BEST part came next when she charged me $14.56 for 3 pieces of pizza. It registered a few minutes later that it was way over priced. As she hands us the box I told her the price seemed wrong and she told us she knew, she charged us too much. If we had not said anything she would have never said anything! We were there for 5 minutes waiting and she did not say a word. Get a new staff. Millions of people cannot get jobs that would be happy to work here. Way to much competition in Providence for pizza to deal with your staff.

Scrumptious fluffy white pizza made me happier than a fairy in a barrel of glitter. Also worth mentioning that the mushroom Gorgonzola pizza is the epitome of sweet and savory atop a chewy crust baked to effing perfection. Nantucket juices compliment their pizza like orange compliments blue.

Doesn't even deserve 1 star. Ok pizza, but $30 for a large cheese pizza and two 2-liters delivered is highway robbery. And it took 1 1/2 hours. I totally would NEVER recommend this place to anyone!

I can't believe some of the high praises for this pizza. All the pizza slices behind the counter looked old and unappealing. Nothing looked fresh or looked like it was made in this millennium. The pizza is just average. Nothing great, nothing bad. It's of the NYC pizza slice style. If anything, the pizza was dry and could use some more tomato sauce. The workers put the slices with toppings on the counter and hide the regular cheese slices in the back. It's a way to push people into getting toppings that they normally wouldn't buy. I wish I had seen the regular cheese slices in the back before I ordered because I just assumed none were available.

I had not been to Fellini's in a few years (pre-Yelping times) due to a change in my office's location - but I did love the pizza then and I found myself running in there twice last week since I had some work gigs on the East Side. I thought the staff was very friendly, although other Yelpers have said the service is sort of touch and go. The same smiling woman waited on me both times. Both times I was rushing, which is always my normal state of affairs; parked semi-legally outside on my first visit, and STARVING. The wonderful smells were wafting out the door and I could barely wait to have my pizza heated. The first time I had a slice of their pepperoni, because I was wanting some real pizza - as opposed to white pizza or any of the other many varieties some of which did not come with red sauce. I scarfed it down in my car as I was hurrying to my afternoon temp job. It was absolutely delicious, just as I had remembered it. The crust is thin - which I like and prefer, the sauce was good and the pepperoni was decadent (especially since I am on a diet - ha ha). Several days later, on my way home from the same temp job after working all morning past lunch time with no break -- I dropped by Fellini's again - this time lucking out and finding a parking spot right outside the front door! I ordered a slice with fresh mozzarella and sliced tomatoes - there was no red sauce on it and I was bemoaning that fact out loud when the nice woman behind the counter said "I can throw a little sauce on that if you'd like." I did, and she did! Again I ran out to my car with the slice of pie and a bag of rosemary basil kettle fried potato chips (yeah, I know, the diet went by the wayside) and this pizza was incredibly yummy. I loved the mozzarella along with the tomato slices, and was extremely happy that there was red sauce on the delicious pizza crust. Both experiences were quite good. As I ran out the door the second time, I thought, "HEY, gurl, you haven't Yelp'd about Fellini's and you really should" I was very pleased with the food, the service and the selection of other, non-pizza food located around the other side of the counter from the pizza. I give it four, and not five stars because: the parking is horrific (not their fault, but it is, indeed, a fact) and the second reason is I think the crust could have been crisper around the edges. This fact may be due to the re-heating of the slices. I really do like my pizza edges to be brown and crisp and bubbled up. I would give it a four and a half if this were possible - just so you know that I do think it's worth a four and a half. You might even give it a five. I would check out Fellini's if you find yourself on Wickenden Street on the East Side of Providence and you're very hungry and craving pizza!! :-)

Amazing and large pizzas. Easy and fast pick up, friendly staff. The pizzas are creatively done, with many options to choose from. Large sized sliced, so be prepared to eat a lot. The crust is thin and yummy. Probably my favorite pick up pizza place in Providence. I recently visited its counterpart in Provincetown and still prefer Fellini's.

When I find myself on the East Side craving slices of pizza, as opposed to a whole pie, Fellini's is my destination. After walking in the front door you are greeted with a large glass counter displaying a milieu of pizza available for purchase in single slices. There are always several different combinations to choose from! My last purchase included a slice of white pizza topped with mozzarella, ricotta, feta, and garlic, a slice of pepperoni pizza, and an antipasto salad. The pizza is NY Style and is generally hit or miss. I loved the pepperoni but could have done without the white. It was a bit soggy and burnt on the bottom. The visit prior, I had not come across this problem and was thoroughly satisfied with my dinner. Like I said. . . hit or miss. Specialty slices go for $3.30. Whole pies go for $20.95. . . a bit expensive and far too large for my taste. You can get as creative as you want with toppings including bacon, eggplant, artichoke hearts, carmelized onions, pesto, and all your favorites. Hot and cold subs available, as well as various salads. I highly recommend their parmesan peppercorn dressing, as it makes my taste buds kick into gear just thinking about it! Overall, mediocre but filling and satisfying pizza, quick and efficient service, along with great customer service. I've heard their chocolate covered cannoli's are to die for! Open til midnight Sun - Wed and 2 am Thurs - Sat!!!

Their pizza is truly amazing! I love all the interesting combinations (Ricotta and bacon are delicious on pizza! Everyone else take note). They have perfected the NY style thin crust. It's just the perfect amount of flavor, sauce, cheese and crust. Yummy!!

The best pizza in the northeast and mid - atlantic. I travel frequently for work and while traveling I try to find the best pizza per the locals. It started out just trying to find good local food, but it became a sport more or less with my co-workers and I. We've tried lots of pizza... We have an ever-changing "top ten" list. One things we all agree to is Fellini's remains at number one. If your within a reasonable distance, see for yourself.

Although somewhat pricey, the pizza is incredible. The white pizza is the best I've ever had, with giant dollops of ricotta and loads of garlic. The garden veggie pizza looks intimidating - there are ribbons of squash on it - but tastes amazing, and delivers a kick of extra black pepper. If you like thin crust with adventurous toppings, look no further.

Yum, Yum! What tasty pizza I've had from Fellini's. Really how can you choose from once piece when there are so many different appealing options? ( I LOVE the veggie pizza) . PLllllluuuss they have a million salads to choose from as well! Muah Fellini how I love theee.

Ummmm. OMG, I have found pizza perfection... and it's name is Fellini. I'm happy I don't live on the east side, or I'd likely gain about 300 lbs. Now, before you start freaking out that I didn't give it a 5, give me a minute for all the pluses. So, I moved to RI recently, and wasn't sure what to make of the whole RI pizza thing, to be perfectly honest. I mean Casserta's and Tommy's seem to be the "gold standard"? I don't get that. I'm not into THAT kinda pizza. I like thin and crispy and delicious. Don't get me wrong, it's not bad, it's just not THAT good...and it's like Sicilian, but not quite??? Enter -- Fellini's.... aaaaaaaaaahhhhhh (the sound of angels). I had a slice of mushroom. Didn't think it would be as amazing as it was, and I believe there must be some sort of special ingredient (aka crack) to make it so good. It was heaven. I also had a piece of the tomato and pesto. Great too, but not nearly as good as the plain ol' cheese with 'shrooms. Oh.... come to think of it, maybe those were the "secret" ingredient. Anywho, why didn't it get 5/5? Well, the girl behind the counter wasn't the friendliest I had ever met and the cost for two slices = $6.75. If they are gonna charge more than $3.00/slice, they should do a little remodeling... and maybe put in a few more tables. It would be cute if they have tables outside on Wickenden. Not sure if they do that once it gets warm? Either way, it is worth the trip...

  • Jeff G.

Everyone complaining "it's too expensive" get out of here- it's a free market. They can charge whatever they want. If you think the price is too steep then don't pay for it. That's the whole point of the free market- consumer choice. I for one appreciate the pizza and am willing to pay a little higher than a "normal" pizza. But this pizza isn't normal, it's pretty large compared to other pizzas especially here in Rhode Island. And yeah sure the staff is rude and one time they hung up on me, but screw it, it's pizza. I laughed it off. People have thin skin these days. This place probably has one of the best pizza in the state, if not the best. Bottom line. Haters gonna hate.

Fellini is at great place to get pizza in Providence when you're looking for an inexpensive yet delicious dinner away from the student crowd. Whether you're grabbing slices to go or ordering pizza in, they have a variety of flavors for everyone. This includes an abundance of vegetarian flavors as well as delights for meat lovers. The location is great, setting the backdrop for a stroll up Wickenden or a walk through India Point Park to digest. All ages, WiFi and special deals make this place a must-stop for any Providence visitor.

Slices are a plus How you gonna charge that much? At least there's good crust Pizza joints in a college area are usually a mix of several things: cheap, open late, quick service, and good seating. Blend well and let marinate in marinara and they'll thrive among the 18-21 set. Miss on most and you're sunk. Fellini's is right at the end of a hoppin street on the East Side, and is clearly the only place within blocks (which equate to miles in Rhode Island) serving pizza past 3 in the afternoon. Parking is an issue (see: Wickenden St. in general), but you already knew that if you've ever been out in the area. Thin crust, but kind of chewy. Definitely the best part of the pizza. It's foldable but won't break in the middle like the super thin crusts. There are a bunch of specialty slices, and a menu of specialty pizzas they'll make fresh. It's definitely decent pizza. The toppings taste fresh, not like they've sat forever in some fridge. The ricotta is good, and avoids slipping down the dangerous cheese slope to watery and gross. Most of the specialty pizzas do not include tomato sauce. There is a good amount of seating, both indoors and out. The interior is dark and wooden, and the huge outside tables are good for groups of 6 or so. It is a destination spot for Brown students, and you'll find them occupying the tables outside speaking in less than hushed tones. So why two stars. Decent pizza (available in slices) with good crust gets one, ample seating gets two, but that's it for me. The main reason is the super expensive cost for a pizza joint; your bill nearly hits $10 for two slices and a drink. The return for your money isn't quite worth it. The pizza is good, but not $3+ a slice good. I know they have to make money but it's a little much for me. If I'm driving for pizza, I'm driving somewhere cheap, and if I'm walking, I'm walking over to Thayer.

I am drastically reducing my rating on Fellini for this reason: Their service has finally reached an all-time low. It has always been shaky, but I've been willing to overlook it for the quality pizza -- lovely, delicious, unique -- that we consistently get here. The problem: I call on a Sunday evening at 6:30. I know that they are open until Midnight on Sunday. I know that SOMEONE IS there because there is a busy signal. I press redial on my cellular until I get a ring. And a ring. And a ring... ring... ring... ring... ring... ring... ring... I wait and redial. Maybe they were busy, and couldn't get to the phone. I redial again -- the phone is picked up and disconnected. Now I'm mad. I redial out of principle, hoping there will be someone to give a piece of my mind to. I redial again. The phone is picked up and disconnected. Again. For the record, out of curiosity, I Googled "Fellini Pizzeria didn't answer their phone" and found another reviewer who said that, on a Sunday night, she had ordered a pizza with a 30 minute delivery estimate, and an hour and a half later there was no pizza and no answer at Fellini. I cannot, in good conscience, with their excellent product, retract all of the stars I have given them simply for this one incident. But I think two stars gets the message across. And, since they have the audacity to run a business this way and also feature Yelp reviews on their website, maybe someone with authority will see this.

Always friendly, awesome slices selection, great for a quick bite. The prices for a whole pie are steep in my opinion, which is why they are getting a 4 out of 5, but good quality ingredients cost money... I just can't bring myself to pay more than $20 for what I could get at home in NJ for $12. But thank heavens someone is doing thin crust right up here in New England!

I stopped here hoping for a quick bite to eat on my way out of the city. It wasn't as quick as I thought it would be, but the chicken pesto sandwich I ordered was pretty on point. The chicken parm sandwich on the other hand, not so much. The sandwiches came out super piping hot which is always a plus. We both got our sandwiches on focaccia bread and the bread itself was pretty good, definitely tasted like whole wheat to me. Both sandwiches came with shredded chicken, pretty awesome with the pesto, but the tomato sauce was a bit too sweet on the chicken parm. If the chicken were fried the saltiness could have counterbalanced the sweetness. Overall, though the place was clean, pretty quick and good for on the go.

Fellini's has good pizza. Even great pizza. Their thin crust pie with a nice selection of toppings are sold by the slice to encourage clientele to grab a seat. The restaurant itself is quite adorable, with several tables and games in the corner. But their service makes me want to grab my pizza and run! I recently stopped in for a slice after a long day at work nearby. As I waited for my pizza, one of the employees was just ranted about how "over it" she was. It was probably one of the longest four minutes of my life. Then it hit me- I remember why I haven't been here in a few years- the food isn't good enough to feel like you are walking on eggshells as a customer. So grab a pizza to go!

Parking was a bit hard to come by but the food made it worth the effort! I had the pesto pepperoni pizza that was delicious and my husband had pepperoni pizza which he thought was great. Next time I'll try some of their sides also. I loved the pizza by the slice option and they had outdoor seating which, was hard to come by because of the crowd but it's always a bonus for me when available. Waiting in line was a bit confusing with people ordering/waiting for their food in no particular order but not a big deal.

In a word yummy! I just tried Fellini's for the first time last week. I chose the steak and scallion pizza, and it hit the spot! It was crispy thin pizza with perfectly seasoned shaved steak and topped with freshly chopped scallions. Service was quick and the price was right! No complaints here!

i ordered delivery from them once. will definitely try them again. delivery as promised within 45 min, huge huge pizza (18"), very good thin crust, even better crisp from the oven the next day. four stars for providence, because i have yet to see an amazing pizza in providence (i've lived in NYC and NJ and boston and IL, so i'm pretty spoiled when it comes to pizza, so the scales change depending on the city). sauce was good, crust was good, toppings were good (fresh). i guess i'll visit them in person at some point. and free delivery! wahoooo

There's nothing wrong with Fellini's pizza. As reflected by other reviews, it's actually pretty tasty. However, I don't believe restaurants should by related on cuisine alone. I, being the perpetual people pleasing Midwesterner that I am, have always been treated OK by the staff. However, I've witnessed attitude, rudeness, and outright insults from the staff on every visit I've had. I had to ask myself if I wanted to give money to an establishment who employs people who stand behind the counter and make editorial, sarcastic comments about how a dissatisfied member of my party "must have a lot of friends (snickers)" ?? The staff continued to have a insulting, snarky conversation about a member of my party as soon as she began walking away from the counter. So, the answer to my question posed before my long winded anecdote about their awful customer service is a resounding NO. I don't care if Fellini's comes out with a fluffer nutter bacon pizza stuffed with oreos on top of a corndog, I will no longer be giving Fellini's my business. (2 stars instead of 1 because I'm in a good mood after imagining such a delicious pizza)

The staff was very rude and unhelpful when THEY messed up my delivery. I had ordered a pie from them for a meeting a week ago and they had given me a delivery time of an hour. So this time I planned ahead and placed an order at 5 for two plain pies for delivery at 6. They told me an hour, just as planned and I went off to another scheduled meeting. Exactly twenty minutes later I got an angry call from them that I had missed their delivery. I called them back twenty minutes later and explained to them the problem. They said they would deliver it as soon as possible. Another hour passed and I called as the pizza still hadn't arrived. They told me they would not redeliver the pizza but that I could come pick it up. I explained to them the situation again, and that I did not have a car and could not pick up the pizza. They told me it was my fault and that the delivery guy (who was also the manager, and I could hear insulting me in the background) "didn't feel like" delivering the pizza to me. I told them we wouldn't be ordering from them any more.

I've been here many times over the years. Very good place to drop in for pizza slices, and BYOB. I like that they took a lot of time with their website also to upload pictures for each item. Most places don't bother. The slices can be a tad expensive but the quality is good

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!! Bacon bleu cheese caramelized onion, odd flavors of San pelligrino like blood orange and grapefruit, and an anti social Japanese fighting fish (blue) - who doesn't like people. Dude on deck deemed him SELFISH. Lots of fish are selfish. The radio!!! The radio: IT. Was killin it. Walked into Girls On Film - they played poison and all sorts of good shit so that was wonderul. Bright lights, lotsa seats. The plain cheese slice was just OK. I was barely paying attention because it was difficult while Nook was all sharing KhLoE KaRdAShiaN stories... He's like "why is this FAT BITCH yelling at us for drinking all her coronas? Who does she think she IS?" BEFORE THE SHOW STARTED. His boy sold that shit. HIS idea. Keeping up with the Kardashians. Anyways, this pizza's bomb - and worth trying an unusual slice cuz they are all mad good.

I love this pizza! It's a great thin crust pizza w/a few different varieties. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the rude lady who works upfront. She just seems like she doesn't want to be there. I was there a few days ago & she threw my pizza in the box w/my friends, and when we went to take it out, my pizza was basically on top of his. So he couldn't eat his because he doesn't like garlic, etc.. It was done carelessly. They need a new person up front :/

I love this pizza shop. I live an hour away and think its worth the trip. I love the thin crust pizza they make. Their daily creations are second to none. The ingredients are always fresh. This is a popular spot and I have some hints to make it work better for you. Always call ahead and put in your order. Do this for two reasons. Their slices can get pricy compared to a full pie. Secondly they can get VERY busy and you may have a 35 minute wait as a walkin during prime times. I have taken several friends from out of the northeast who all so loved it. This is legit pie. Do it.

Pizza is sooo good and salads are HUGE but the dressing is very salty so you don't need much. It is super tasty. You can sit inside or out. The only reason why this place didn't get 5 stars is because the staff is NOT friendly. I was there recently where the lady behind the counter dropped a guys pizza as it was coming out of the oven, he couldn't wait the 45 minutes she suggested to get a new on and didn't even apologize. He took cold pizza home and not even the one he wanted AND he had to pay for it. Rude. They were also rude to me when I asked about dressing or what salad was the best... um hello. this is where you work. you should be able to give a suggestion other than 'they are all good'. If you can deal with a little snip with your delicious food this is your kinda place.

Best pizza in Providence in my opinion. Thin-crust style, with all the old standbys as well as their own interesting new combinations. Salads are huge, fresh and delicious. Costs a little more than some pizza places, but worth it. I love this place.

I'm giving Fellini 4 stars based purely on my mental state when I usually go there. It's always late at night, I've always had maaaaaybe just one too many drinks and I'm usually ravenously craving a slice of pizza. So, with that said.... * The slices are always reheated nice and hot * They offer way better slice options than the standard cheese or pepperoni. Balsamic, goat cheese and spinach? Um, hell to the yes, please! * They've always got some great throwback tunes playing. * To be perfectly honest, they don't give a crap how many times you have to slur your way through your order! Some day I may try them out during the daylight hours but at least for now, they're my go-to spot for late night snacking.

Definitely a solid pizza place that sets itself apart from the general run of the mill pizza chain store. But its limiting factor is not the quality, but the price associated with the cheesy, thin crust goodness. After hearing from all of my colleagues, who swear by Fellini's Pizza, especially how late it stays open, I had to go check it out myself. I tried the seasonal pumpkin pizza, the squash and scallion pizza and the buffalo/pasta pizza. All were prepared almost directly in front of me and had a faint, but unique flavor that begs for a repeat bite. Unfortunately, the biggest drawback is, as beforementioned, the cost of the pizzas; 3 slices cost nearly $12, a price in which I can get a decent full size specialty pizza at the many pizza establishment in Nice Slice, Bob and Timmy's. The crusts were exceedingly thin, however, and at least that sets itself from the competition. Overall, good food, just wish it were cheaper! Food: 4 stars Price: 3 stars Ambiance: 3 stars Service: 3 stars Hours: 4 stars

Pizza is so good here the crust is nice and thin. Had a cheese tomato basil slice with balsamic vinaigrette, margarita slice and a steak cheese and scallion slice! So so good . They have such unique combinations ! Must go and try!

Stumbled upon this place while touristing around. I was a bit taken back by their prices at first - over $20 for a large cheese pie - so I opted for the slices. My friend and I got 2 slices each and split a Caprese salad, and it was more than filling. We both tried a variety of slices and everything was delicious. All the ingredients in the salad were fresh and crisp, and the balsamic dressing was spot on. I would definitely come back and try the sweet haven pizza - it was one of the few they didn't have made when I was in.

STRIKE 3! Called for Delivery, I live 4 miles away and they won't deliver a pizza to me!

  • Becky M.

First, rude, rude dude that made my pizza. There would be a better rating if he had handled how busy a night they were having and how they run out of basil for the pesto. I can understand a busy night if you are honest about and offer a simple apology. But, the pizza was delicious. Unfortunate that pizza does always get soggy if in the box too long -- esp because of the thin, thin crust. I had a pizza with sausage, cheese, tomato and pesto -- wish I remembered the quirky name that it had. I may or may not go back -- the rude service was not cool.

  • Scott C.

Within walking distance of all the bars in the area. It is in a perfect location to grab a late night slice of pizza. It is not only a slice but a flavor adventure. They always have at least 7-10 different types of pizza to choose from with a variety of toppings. The pesto and tomato or the Buffalo Chicken are always a safe bet but I would recommend trying their other ones as well. If you are ordering a whole pizza it is going to be pretty expensive for a pizza but its not too expensive to get a delicious large thin crust slice of pizza. Best of all they also deliver to the Wick Pub! It is a good place to fill your late night pizza craving!

After moving my son into the dorms at Brown, we were starving and tried to grab lunch on Thayer Street. Couldn't find parking- and we didn't know what to do because we don't know the area very well. As we continued a mile down the street, we saw an empty spot in front of Fellini Pizza. We thought it looked okay- so we checked it out. The restaurant is small, but there are probably a dozen tables- both inside dining and out. The pizza is my favorite--thin NY style. They had a huge selection of unique pizzas that were ready to serve as slices. We sat at a table outside and thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. You get what you pay for- and the restaurant uses high quality ingredients. Also, the bathroom was clean. We'll be back!

    (5)
  • Emmy M.

Ooof, this is a dangerous discovery. Since I live a lot closer to Thayer than Wickenden, I'm usually frequenting Antonio's or Nice Slice. Sometimes it's kind of agonizing to choose between them because Antonio's is where I go if I want excessive toppings, but I opt for Nice Slice if I'm craving their perfect thin wheat crust and want something a little more delicate. Anyway, this weekend I was introduced to Fellini's and concluded that their pizza is the best of both worlds: thin crust, but with crazy plentiful toppings. I got 2 slices, one of the buffalo BBQ chicken with caramelized onions and another of the salami with hella cheese and spirals of mustard. In retrospect I really could have done with just one slice because they're humongous. But they were really delicious, and a good value. My boyfriend and I ate inside and played pinball. Yes, they have PINBALL! Cue flashbacks to childhood birthday parties at Chuck-E-Cheese. 50 cents gets you 5 tries, and that's without earning additional tries from getting bonus points. Music was excellent. I'm not sure what they play during the day because we were there pretty late, but they were playing Motown and the staff was kind of singing along and it was just a good time.

    (4)
  • C J.

Music is WAY too loud last two times I came here. I find it very disrespectful to patrons who want to eat or talk. It was so loud the customers were shouting with the employees to communicate about their order from one table away and they still couldn't hear each other. Its a good thing I came alone. I would never bring a friend here. Good pizza...I just wish I could enjoy it. I'll pay extraordinary prices elsewhere in exchange for a more decent atmosphere.

  • Sarah C.

This is solely based on their Thanksgiving pizza. Holy moly is this delicious. Mashed potatoes, stuffing, slow-roasted turkey, gravy and a side of cranberry. You have to order in advance as it's very popular, but it is so worth it.

  • Kat S.

Can only review based on a delivery order. Pizza was delicious, incredibly filling, and arrived hot. We had the Sweet Heaven which had the best parmesan sauce I've ever tasted. The price is a lil more than I'd normally spend on a pizza, and it did take almost an hr to arrive. It was worth the wait. I highly recommend Fellini's as an occasional switch to your pizza routine.

    (4)
  • Jonathan K.

To be fair I've always loved their pizza. I live across the street from a pizza shop yet walk 6 blocks just to eat somewhere else. When I have guests over I insist they order pizza from down the street. I mock them if they order from my neighbor and not from Fellini's. So I do love the pizza here, but never thought to Yelp about it. .....But today when I walked up to the store, Phish was on the radio. Nothing else matters.

  • . ..

Not the first time we had pizza from Fellini's, but tonight was the first time we placed an order for delivery. The ordering process was great; friendly and courteous staff took the order and gladly accommodated our request for a half pepperoni and half pesto and tomato pie. Delivery wait time is not an issue for us. We planned ahead because the food that is prepared at this restaurant is good and it is a popular small business located in Providence offering city-wide delivery. Just think about how long it can take most of us to drive from the east side to the west side due to the extreme amount of ineptitude afflicting the majority of Providence/RI drivers! As a respectful suggestion.. perhaps the hot items can be delivered while stored in a container designed to retain a warmer temperature. The issue for us, specifically based on tonight's level of quality in a box, is that we both had to mix up a dose of Alka-Selzer. Burnt dough and crust of a Fellini's pizza is a first for us. I do not think I can do anything but Yelp it out while I wait for the Alka-Selzer to help resolve the gastrointestinal havoc that this $25 pie has caused my girl and I. Next time we will dine in or do take out, but it probably not happen for awhile.

This is my favorite place to get takeout pizza in Providence. They use a thin whole wheat crust and the best specialty pizzas. My go-to pizzas are the steak and scallion and garden vegetable. Can't go wrong here.

    (5)
  • Katie R.

Great garden salad. Some of the worst pizza I have ever had. The crust is not crispy at all and it droops and sags. They burned our two slices while we waited. Sent two more in and gave them to us cold. We have had it delivered on two different occasions. It's always soggy, over topped and under cooked. Antonio's on Thayer St is much much better.

    (2)
  • Andrew B.

The pizza here is quite good, with a nice relatively-thin crust and a variety of toppings to choose from. Usually a number of differently slices available. In other circumstances, I'm sure I would visit this establishment more often, but with Nice Slice and Antonio's not far away, there are simply better options.

Great pizza; perfect crust and creative, high quality toppings. The staff is friendly and the place is cute if you opt to dine in. Not the best pizza I've ever had, but certainly one of the best in Providence and definitely a price performer.

This place is a hoot. The pizza is not the world's greatest (I'm a New Yorker, so there's prejudice for them to overcome) and the menu options are a bit quirky, but as a whole this place really works. I remember coming when I was in college and loving it then, and I was back yesterday and loved it again. I had a 'hawaiian' slice with barbecue sauce instead of tomato--really good and the bbq sauce was spicy and tangy--my friend had an arugula, goat cheese and raisin slice (not my thing, but he loved it) and our other friend had a cheese slice. These have an excellent selection of San Pellegrino and Boylan's sodas, and the desserts look really lovely.

Our company order from here ever so often. Not the best pizza in RI but with their thin dough New York style pizza, I can devour half a whole pizza. totally recommend their Spinachoke. staff can be more courteous but wouldn't stop me from coming back!

Today was my first time ordering from Fellini. Very impressed! The greek salad was delicious with a creamy greek dressing to compliment it. We also got a couple cheese pizza's, and those were delish too. The gentleman at the counter was very attentive, and did it with a smile. I would definitely suggest trying out their food; worth every penny.

  • Rainn W.

YUM. The best I've gotten here was the hawaiian and the not so best was the breaded eggplant + jalapeno ( both full pizzas). The awesomeness of the hawaiian takes over my brain and tells me to keep eating here. I would love to eat by the slice here more often but I can't yet because I would need way more money.

  • Michael G.

I'm awarding the fifth star here because Fellini's offers the height of the pizza experience in RI. Whether you get a plain cheese or select their fanciest toppings, you are having a top notch pizza. The salads appear excellent. Everything looks excellent. Prices are "down city" but you get the value in quality and taste. Dining in is self serve, with several tables inside and a couple of medium rounds on the side walk. By the slice you might find yourself grabbing even a third of their different creations. Ham and pineapple, barbecued chicken, buffalo chicken, even turkey dressing and gravy at thanksgiving. I've sometimes ordered four large pizzas of varied toppings, a plain cheese, a pepperoni and onion, a barbecue chicken and a vegi, for instance, put out some grapes and wine and called it s party. Yes that's about an eighty dollar party I think, but easy...and your guests are happy..the pizza is wholesome enough to feel like a decent meal. Fellini's ads a touch of class to having pizza. It is a managed and cleanly establishment. Parking is down city and requires a bit of luck or a short walk across the road to more ample parking off transit street. Late night munchies favorite sport too on down city nights.

Their pizza is not bad, I do prefer thin crust. But they are pretty rude. The best I've had as far as attitude goes is nonchalant. You are not going to get service with a smile here, but it seems to work for them because people are giving great reviews. Maybe they figure they don't need to be friendly. We have ordered a few times because I am usually forgiving of these things but for the price and for their not being the best, I'd rather not.

  • Jane C.

Even after a grand "tour de pizza" throughout PVD, I failed to find another place that had such consistently superb slices. The place is always clean, the staff are friendly, and there's lots of seating. You can basically get a slice of cheese to go with the change that's burning a hole in your pocket. It's a wonderful neighborhood joint.

My aunt and I decided to stop in this little place on Wickenden St in Providence for a slice of pizza to hold us over until dinner. Now, pizza is something we have in Hawaii but my auntie assured me that this was no ordinary pizza. Sure enough, the crispy crust, unique toppings and excellent customer service was enough to make this stop more than worth our time!! We ended up splitting a slice of butternut squash pizza. It was $3 something which I thought was a good price- then again, I am rather used to inflation living on an island... Sounds strange but the combo of cheese, sauce, thin shavings of squash, freshly shaved parmesan cheese and onions was melt-in-your-mouth, orgasmically fantastic... We took our pizza to go but the man behind the counter was a sweetie.... 5 stars and I will definitely be back on my next visit to RI!

So good. The best thin crust but not crunchy thin. Buffalo chicken is amazeballs. Also tried the cheese and the Satyricon and that was also great. Would definitely recommend to any one coming to providence.

This is still one of my favorites even though it has slipped a bit over the years. They still have really great dough and the toppings are good. Sometimes the pizzas aren't cooked enough or haven't been rotated and have sat for a while. The service isn't the greatest either. So probably stick to late night. I still love the steak and cheese pizza with no red sauce. If cooked correctly it is great. If your drunk in the area try this place out, it will satisfy. Thanks

Great pizza joint on Wickenden St that has one of the best tasting thin crust pizza. My favorite is the Steak Scallion which is shaved steak with green onions with a parmesan cream sauce. If you are not interested in a pizza in a pizza joint (maybe you changed your mind when you arrived, "eh, not really feeling pizza today...") there is always their tasty, flavorful Italian grinder! It is so good. It has a good kick in flavor from the Italian dressing and onions. Service is fast and prompt. A great tip is to by the pizza at Fellini and go to the many bars on Wickenden that allows food from other places! Pizza and beer - life is good :)

  • Kelly R.

I'm pretty certain that I love this place and always have! Their pizza selection is unique and delicious, consistent every time! It's great for a slice to-go or a whole pie and their sandwiches are not to be overlooked either. In fact, I'm pretty certain that I dream of their "The Other Stuff" sandwich and stopped in to buy it often when I worked in Providence. The parking situation over there is a little hairy, so if you see a spot you had better jump on it! Keep in mind that this joint is located in a busy area near plenty of hungry college students, so if you pick a typically busy restaurant time be prepared to wait a hot minute.

The pizza here is a good choice for a late night bite if you find yourself on Wickenden Street. Service is fast and the variety of pizza is great. I find this place is one of the better places in terms of quality. The crust is what I like the best at Fellini Pizza. However, the price is a little crazy. From a slice of cheese it is $2.25, which I find is ok. Not bad at all. But if you want a slice with one topping, that goes up to $2.95. Then add plus tax and a tip, you have just paid $4 for a piece of pizza. The specialty pizza slices increase to $3.30 a slice. I think it is a much better deal to get the two pieces of chesse pizza and a drink for $5 in the end. I am not crazy for this place, but I like it enough to use it for a fast meal on the go.

Fellini's is a great place to grab a slice before a night out of beer drinking on Wickenden. They have a decent selection of meat and vegetarian pizza options. I enjoyed the pesto and tomato slice I had, which was a little greasy, but a lot delicious. As others have said, the pizza runs a little pricey, but in my mind it was worth it. I found the staff to be friendly and helpful. They didn't seem too annoyed when I asked them to tell me what all the different kinds of pizzas they had laid out were. I will most certainly be back to Fellini's again when I am back in the area and am in the mood for a nice slice

  • Carly B.

Fellini's serves up some of my favorite pizza in PVD, but I can't say I'm totally in love. It's pricey... for pizza. But when you're in the mood, you're in the mood. There is always a $2 off coupon (for a whole pie) you can print off their website, which the irritable waitstaff will growl at, or at the very least an over-dramatic sigh, but push past the uncomfortability and remind yourself that you are bringing your pizza that much closer to a reasonable cost. The pizzas are really huge - three people can feast on one, so none of that silent tension, sizing each other up over who gets the last pieces. My standby is simply mushrooms, and for a cheese sinfest I recommend The Wickenden: mushrooms, red peppers, garlic, mozz, feta and lumps of creamy ricotta - you will need both hands. When you pop in for a slice or two, be prepared to spend as much as you would at a sit-down type deal and don't have high expectations for what by-the-slice varieties are available. Sometimes the meatless options are pitifully minimal. I like to eat in-house, but there are times you're standing there with your slices and nowhere to sit, staring down the lingerers who treat it like a coffee shop. Good place to bring kids.

Fellini Pizza is one of my favorite pizza places throughout the State of Rhode Island! There are many delicious flavors to choose from when you are on the go and you are always greeted with a smile from there friendly staff while enjoying affordable pricing. Most pizzas are thin crust and all of the pizzas include fresh ingredients with a crispy crust. The owner Kristy is extremely friendly and well respected amongst her staff and you can tell she really cares about her business! I give Felinni five stars and II am fortunate enough to be near by so I can enjoy their food weekly! If you have not had the opportunity to try their food make an effort to and indulge. Cheers.

Amazing pizza in a warm and friendly atmosphere. It's a damn shame this place doesn't have the star rating it deserves. As soon as you walk in you smell the hot pizza ready for the taking, and notice the abundant salad bar. The girl who took the order was more than friendly, I can't find the right word, but it felt like I knew her. This should go without saying but she knew all about the menu and didn't have to guess or ask anyone and she even poked some fun at my group because we got 7 pieces and a salad. The pizza was thin, exploding with flavor, and had a perfectly crunchy crust - to die for. Such a nice change of pace from the thick/doughy pizza accustomed to. Can't say enough about this little gem, totally worth the drive, or if your lucky, the walk. My only regret was not noticing what I can only guess was a "Spider-Man" pinball machine. That would've totally capped off a near-perfect outing. Go there...get 3 slices of pepperoni...and call it a cheat day on the diet - you'll be glad you did!!!

The pizza was good, despite it being difficult to eat (instead of bite size bacon pieces, they threw a whole package of bacon slices on top - so many we saved them for breakfast the next day). I wouldn't pay $22 for a pizza again though.

Hot damn I love this place! After moving back east after 13 years of crap pizza in Phoenix, I had the pleasure of moving a block away from Fellini's. And it's an effort to NOT go here twice a day. All I want is this pizza all up in me all the time. They have the standards as well as an exciting variety of toppings. If your slice is covered in bacon, you can't go wrong! I waited on line for the special Thanksgiving pizza on 11/24. I've been here at noon and 1 AM. The crust is awesome, the sauce is great. The crazy New England accents by everyone behind the counter adds to the experience. These are the big sloppy NY style slices I was missing in the desert. I couldn't figure out why people couldn't replicate it there. Probably the same reason there are no decent burrito joints in New England. I had to trade one for the other, but both are going to make me fat. Anyhow, Fellini's=fuck yeah pizza!

Went to Fellini's last weekend and had a nice lunch with a friend who has two little kids (4 and 2). There are 6-10 pizzas with a variety of toppings that are "ready to go". The little girls each had a slice of BBQ chicken pizza and the grown ups had Garden vegetable, pesto pizza and a slice that had spinach and provolone. All of the slices had a delicious assortment of toppings that were fresh and were well paired. There is a nice assortment of juices including flavors of Nantucket Nectar that I wasn't familiar with (delicious) and many other teas and vitamin water options. The restaurant is clean. Parking isn't bad. I wish the pizza was a bit less greasy and also a little more erect. When you hold the crust 3/4 of it flops down to your wrist... Also, the service could have been a bit friendlier but overall they have good food and I'm sure I'll be back when I am in the area and have a hankering for pizza.

  • Grace R.

The pizza is amazing! Best crust I've ever had and if you haven't yet tried the CHICKEN PESTO, its a must have. The chicken is thinly sliced white meat with just the right amount of pesto. The downer is that this delicioso is rarely available by the slice and you have to go for the gorge-fest large if you want to enjoy it. My view is why not get a large? Maybe because the larges are too big and too expensive... I wish there was a more manageable size between the large and the slice, but what's wrong with having leftover pizza. With my husband around, I never have a hard time getting rid of the leftovers. Bonus: this place is BYOB so bring a bottle of wine or a few beers to really enjoy that pizza!

We came here for dinner before heading over to see the Waterfire on 8/14. This place was recommended by a friend. We walked in and man there are a lot of options on the blackboard. So much reading. And the staff kept rushing us. Dude chill out we just got in. The staff is not worth my money. Not helpful at all & keeps chit-chatting among themselves when there are customers. We got the cheese pizza to taste the quality of the cheese, tomato sauce & crust. I was very tempted by the other options though!!! So hard. I got the menu pamphlet afterwards and they actually have more specialty pizza than on the blackboard. And I saw one that I want on it so asked them if we can pay the difference and get that instead. They said no. Oh Em Gee how hard is that? We ordered a cheese pizza for Christsake you can sell it as slices. Oh well. Major negative on service points. Got the cheese pizza fairly quickly. It is very thin and somewhat crisp. This cheese pizza is different. It is dough, cheese and then topped with tomato sauce here and there. The cheese was rough though. The tomato sauce was good if you can get to it. I felt it's kind of short on the tomato sauce. The pizza crust was good for the 1st slice. On my 2nd slice it was a lot more chewier after the pizza rested while we ate the 1st slice. it was a turn-off. The flavor combo hmmm not satisfying. Yea I left pretty unsatisfied but thinking it's because I got the cheese pizza and not one w/ toppings. But don't think I'm going back to it. Staff not good. Price too high. There are plenty of other places in Providence worth my money. These pizzas are expensive. Specialty pizzas run for $20 and plain cheese pizza for $15. Clean looking. Plenty of tables. One bathroom.

Fellini Pizzeria has superb pizza. Since moving to the Providence, RI / Boston, MA area from New York, N.Y. more than 20 years ago, I have been searching for New York City style pizza and have been tremendously dissapointed. So, I was extremely happy to find Fellini because it is the closest to New York style pizza I've found in this area. In addition to plain slices, Fellini also offers pizza with a variety of tasty toppings that you often won't find in a typical NYC pizza joint. Most recently, for example, I had a mushroom and gorgonzola pizza. Overall, I highly recommend Fellini. The only downside is the prices are higher than typical, but well worth it.

If I can scam a lunch trip in Providence, or happen to be working around Providence when its close to lunch, I make a stop here. Pizza's are just great. Never had an issue with service, but can't really judge either as I just tell them what I want and out it comes.

Home of the single greatest slice of pizza I have ever had. The daily special was the "Bada Bing": Olive Oil (no red sauce), parmesan, marinated spinach, garlic, feta, and pepperoni. Friggen incredible. Had to order a whole pie of the stuff (at a steep $25 I might add). Add some taps of tasty craft beer and I will never leave!

This was my spot back in the early 1990's when I was at RISD and while it's gotten a little "fancy" with the pizza at least they still have nice seating outside and a pinball machine!

My favorite pizza place in Providence. The pizza combinations are great and there is always a good selection of them. It's open late, which is always a bonus for those of us who work jobs with strange hours and there is always a fun vibe to the place, with its pinball machine and semi-random wall decor. I like it for its unpretentiousness and good pizza. The crust is thin and not undercooked and there is a generous amount of cheese and toppings. The pizza also doesn't have the thick layer of grease, so no need to sop anything up with a napkin. Thumbs up!

I've only had cheese pizza from this place, so that's all I can review, but it's delicious. I lived in Federal Hill and actually ordered out to the East Side for pizza, how sad is that?? Oh yeah, thats a plus! They actually deliver to Federal Hill!

Great spot right at the beginning of Wickenden Street. Friendly staff and tasty pizza! I usually always order the white pizza; it's cheesy and full of garlic; to die for. It's a bit on the pricey side for the "gourmet" pie's, but worth it!

I'm alittle undecided with Fellini's Pizzeria. On one hand it is has a great selection of pizzas, served by the slice. On the other hand, like many have mentioned in this review section. the prices are on the high side. This place was recommended to me by a friend for their steak and cheese pizza. which was very tasty. the problem with a place like this is I would much rather pay alot less for a moderate pizza then a high price for a great pizza. Papa Ginos for example is where price meets quality for me and is my "go to" place for all things pizza related. Another thing that ways on the unfavorable side is that other places in cities like boston have done it better. For example. "Upper Crust" where the prices are similarly high, but the size of the slices you get are well worth it. I will reserve harsh judgment for now but I will say, unles your craving that specialty pizza that only can be found here. its not worth the price for something like a quick bite on a budget. Parking: Terrible.. unless your lucky enough to get a spot on the very busy street. your almost out of luck as far as thats concerned.

Still amazing after 20+ years. Everything is good here. Slices, salads, canoli. I used to eat here every day when I lived across the street. Now I only get to go once every 5 years or so when I am in Providence. I make it point to visit when I am in town. Not to be missed.

Fellini's is the mother f'ing shizzle. Seriously, they charge way too much, sometimes their slices are soooper small, and when you order for pick up, they forget to put your order in half of the time. So what, i still go weekly. When I got back on the East Coast from SF, Fellini's was 3 of my first six meals. A cheese slice is like 2.50, a one topping like 3.25 and a specialty like 3.75. They make about 1,000,000 types of pie, and have a vast array of customizable choices. They are all good. May I recommend the margarita with ricotta? I just did, beeyatch. Philly cheese steak all in your area as well. Or just stick with their strength, the classic cheese. Goddam delish

Why Four Stars? *I've been eating at Fellini's since I was hanging Peter Pan posters on my wall *The ingredients used are undeniably fresh *Best BBQ Chicken in the city *Even the stuff in the glass case to your right is on point *Pinball machine son! *The staff has a sense of humor *Main drawback is the price. But hell, if your paying, lets go to Fellini's!

Oh Fellini's, I used to love you. You were a reliable stop off I-195 and so much more. But the last visit here shows a downward trend just continuing... not so fresh, the sauce and cheese not as good. The staff kind of annoying. The high prices were set when quality was at its peak here years ago. With quality sliding, it just no longer feels worth the cost to eat here.

I may just like this place because ricotta is part of their base cheese blend so all their varieties taste awesome. However, they've got great options, and will deliver to your local bar, and bacon covered pizza and booze sit well. This place is one of the best to offer as far as pizza on the east side and probably within the top 5 picks for best pizza in Providence.

Good thin crust pizza with just the right amount the toppings and sauce. Very flavorful and manageable pizza (meaning it's not "knife and fork" sloppy mess type of pizza) and that's what pizza should be. This place does free delivery, but two larges ended up costing ~$50 w/ tip. In general, I wish their crust was a bit crispier. We got the Philly Steak and the Sweet Heaven pizzas. Philly steak had an ample amount of shaved steak but we didn't get enough of the peppahs (that's right, "peppahs") in there for good acidity. Nonetheless not too salty from the feta, which is a big mistake at other restaurants. Sweet Heaven Pizzas will send you to bacon heaven. They definitely just heave on strips of bacon on this pizza and that's good and all but I would prefer less bacon of higher quality (thick cut bits) with better flavor. They put scallions on this pizza, which was really a nice touch. All in all good pizza, would ask them to crisp the crust up a bit more.

I'm not totally sure how I feel about Fellini. It's expensive, but the pizza is huge. It always has interesting specials, but sometimes it's hard to get what you want. I'm on the fence, so I'm going with three stars. I've only ever had pizza and salad there, so maybe I should try something new for a better palate judgment. At the same time, the salad I had was awful and I usually have ghetto belly after eating Fellini. There have been a couple of times when my boyfriend and I have tried to order a certain type of pizza or salad and it's been out. One time they ran out of lettuce at 8:00 on a Thursday night. How does that happen? I also have a problem with the service. Whether I call for delivery/pick up, or if I'm at the counter ordering, I always feel as though I'm being talked down to. I don't like that, and I think it's unnecessary. It also makes for a less pleasant eating experience overall. But the highlights are how massive the pizza is, and how many different toppings there are. They always have new specials that you can order by the slice, which is awesome and a nice change from the typical pepperoni or cheese slice. On the flip side, a typical slice of pepperoni or cheese should always be available for those less daring, and there have been numerous times I've gone in and that hasn't been an option. And who wants to pay $20 for a cheese pizza? No thanks. I'll keep going to Fellini, but probably only if I have a massive crowd to please and we're not yet drunk enough to order from Dominos.

I am continuously stunned by the high ratings this place gets. Its not terrible but its not that great either. It serves perfectly sufficient pizza and relatively high prices. Their crust and dough is the best part. They aren't particularly quick and they don't seem to be consistent. The only way I can seem to reconcile my experience with these ratings is drunk college kids who view the place as an east side establishment not on its merits.

  • Tacoshi M.

This is pretty straight forward because all that I do is call-in, order a pizza and then pick it up, but it is so darn good. I love pizza and so I'm a bit of a pushover in general, but they are the one for me in Providence. Now only if they would add some taps with good beer...

  • Megan N.

Meh. I have yet to have really good pizza in Providence....if you think you've got the stuff, send me a note! As for Fellini's, it's just serviceable IMO. We've stopped in a few times (hey, I'm all about second, even third chances and we're often on Wickendon street for Utrecht), and each time it's just okay. Too much grease makes for a floppy slice. Staff isn't full-out rude, but isn't exactly cheerful either. I don't know how long this place has been around, but it seems like awhile...which would explain the cheese, tomato, and flour rut Fellini's seems to have fallen into.

  • Erica F.

As far as the pizza goes, I'd have to go with 2 stars. They have a lot of varieties, but the crust always seems soggy and the pizza overall just unappetizing. However, there aren't a ton of places in Providence, especially on the East Side, that deliver. A large is very large, and they have lot's of types of pizza and will make just about anything you like, I just don't happen to enjoy any of them. They also have a lot of prepared foods and a nice little spot to go sit don and eat. Do I enjoy it, not at all and I'd probably never get it again. But pizza appreciation differs from person to person, so maybe it'll be your thing.

I have dreams about this pizza. I skype with my friends when they are eating this pizza so I can gaze upon it's glory. I wake up in a cold sweat in the middle of the night for fear I may never taste Fellini's again. Everything I've gotten from here has been beyond satisfactory. I've never had an issue with the staff. Some say it's pricey for a slice, which may be true, but they're large slices with generous and fancy toppings, so it seems reasonable to me. It's the best quality pizza in the area, in my opinion, so I don't mind throwing down a bit more. I don't live in Providence anymore, but when I'm in the area Fellini's is completely necessary.

Keep it up!

No escape.

Yummy!!

Doesn't even deserve 1 star. Ok pizza, but $30 for a large cheese pizza and two 2-liters delivered is highway robbery. And it took 1 1/2 hours. I totally would NEVER recommend this place to anyone!

  • Joe C.

Greasy, sloppy, nasty pizza. I'll never go back.

I have had several pizzas and their thin crust style is great. Try the BBQ Chicken. It is really great.

This is pretty straight forward because all that I do is call-in, order a pizza and then pick it up, but it is so darn good. I love pizza and so I'm a bit of a pushover in general, but they are the one for me in Providence. Now only if they would add some taps with good beer...

  • Jess Z.

I don't live in Providence anymore, but when I'm in the area Fellini's is completely necessary.

ooooooh!the cheese pizza with the white and wheat flour mix!highly recommended if you like thin crust pizza!(you can even get a buy one get one free in the entertainment book, only a $5.00 value, but thatll get you 2 big slices of whatever you wish);)

The pepperoni pizza is better here.

  • Leah G.

Great pizza: thin yet flavorful crust, amazing toppings (try the veggies in the fall with winter squash!), pay by the slice, friendly staff, and cheap enough. Ideal pizza joint for when you want to treat yourself to a slice.

  • Brian C.

A little pricey for pizza but worth it every once and awhile.

a more healthy style pizza, lots of options by the slice, with a good sized salad and a drink all for $10? its hard to find much to complain about here at Fellini's. for me and anyone else who grew up in providence, this place remains a fixture with a history of loyal customers. of course, I will be back time and again. p.s. if you have a hard time deciding, go with any of the veggie pizzas and your tummy will be happy :)

Boss ordered pizza for the office from the other day, so I finally got to try the Satyricon. Surprisingly bland, and the under crust was awful - soft and damp, as though undercooked.

Good pizza, good toppings. I like how their chicken is not in chunks on the pizza like 99% of other pizza places. For late night Pizza this is definitely the place to go.

I've lived in New York and Chicago, and yet this might be the best pizza I've ever had. I can't imagine anything I'd change about it, other than maybe making its slices bigger. I had the BBQ chicken pizza, which was amazing, and just a plain one, which was as good as it gets.

  • Kyle M.

  • Alma C.

  • Glen W.

  • Kristen S.

    (4)

    (5)
  • Steve F.

Best pizza in Providence in my opinion. Thin-crust style, with all the old standbys as well as their own interesting new combinations. Salads are huge, fresh and delicious. Costs a little more than some pizza places, but worth it. I love this place.

  • Jaclyn P.

    (4)
  • Xiao Z.

    (1)

This is solely based on their Thanksgiving pizza. Holy moly is this delicious. Mashed potatoes, stuffing, slow-roasted turkey, gravy and a side of cranberry. You have to order in advance as it's very popular, but it is so worth it.

Very soggy sandwich, limp and bland pizza - and costly.

    (2)

Great food.. pizza is ridiculous and so are the sandwiches Place is very nice, clean looking. Only problem is parking..

  • Jillian S.

Great pizza; perfect crust and creative, high quality toppings. The staff is friendly and the place is cute if you opt to dine in. Not the best pizza I've ever had, but certainly one of the best in Providence and definitely a price performer.

  • Lisa D.

  • Tony V.

Some of the best pizza in the state and very friendly staff. The blond brownies, however, tasted like lo mein... So if you are there for pizza, you will be very happy.

Great stop for a late night slice, right down the street from many the local bar so it all makes sense. Quick service, plenty of room to sit down.

  • Erica G.

I'm a fan!

  • sara T.

GROSS.

    (1)
  • Holly S.

  • Shannon F.

So reviews were good but sadly they were wrong. Took a really long time for delivery and it was a wednesday not friday or saturday the order was completely wrong and expensive. Never again.
