I have been coming here since I started coming to RI in 1996. It's a Greek style pizza made by super friendly people. We got our wedding rehearsal meal from here. Their Italian grinders are cotto salami, but wicked tasty. The peppers they use for hots are delicious. I not only enjoy getting to eat my food from here, I also enjoy talking with the owners and employees.

Close to my office so I tried it . The woman behind the counter took my order, then disappeared. I ordered a cheeseburger sub, which they put in the oven? ...so after like 20 minutes she comes running out and opens the oven and I see her take out a charcoaled sandwich...and then she tries to wrap it up! I said, I think it's a little burnt. The guy who is fixing the refrigerator says...that's just a little over-toasted. The lady then says, "you want new bread?". I said yes, please. After about 5 more minutes she opens the oven...takes out the new toasted bread and slaps all of the contents from the old burnt bread on it. I left and took it back to the office. The cheeseburger itself was also burnt...to a non-edible level like shoe leather. . Gross....NEVER again.

Gave this place a try and it wasn't what I had expected. The pizza was too thin... When I held it up it was too soggy and the cheese was falling off. The sauce wasn't good either...

Definitely doesn't live up to its name. Not so excellent. Like the other reviews, I found the pizza to be very greasy very difficult to eat straight out of the oven. All the toppings fell right off. Very little sauce and the sauce that was there had no real flavor to it. Yes I haf buffalo wings, but the sauce on the buffalo wings actually out powered the chicken and it was soooo hot that you never got the true flavor. On the other hand, the staff workers are amazing group of people. Very gracious lots of customer service there.

I love their buffalo chicken wrap. I get it all the time. My only complaint is too much dressing on the antipasto. Get it on the side.

I consider myself to be a pizza connoisseur. This is by far, the best pizza in Rhode Island. They use the best ingredients to make their pizza. I can tell when a pizza joint is using cheap cheese and pepperoni. Their sauce is great. It's made from scratch, not ordered from a vendor. My advice is to eat the pizza in the shop, if possible. That's my advice on eating any pizza. From oven to plate! Their grinders are awesome as well.

Do not be misled by the name of this pizza joint. I ordered a large cheese pizza for delivery today. While it was delivered quickly and was quite cheap ($13.75), it was very small (more like a medium than large) and when I opened the box there was literally a puddle of grease in the center of the pizza that completely soaked 5 paper towels. Very skimpy on the sauce, no spicy or herby flavor - it was pretty much just a thin, dead crust covered in a pile of greasy cheese. I would not recommend this pizza to anyone.

I love Excellent Pizza. Their fast, efficient, and good. Their grinders are always really tasty as is their fish and chips on Friday.
