A typical middle of the road inexpensive old school diner. This isn't a foodie "we're trying so hard to be retro"...this is a diner that probably hasn't changed in 30 years authentic. Cool walk up window for ice cream to walk to McCoy stadium with...I like the place.

The hot weiners were lousy! I really believe they got the weiners in a package from stop n shop! They were of totally different texture from regular weiner joints! Also, the buns werent steamed warm and the onions looked like they were cut a week ago with no flavor as well. I would never reccomend the hot weiners at this place!

This is just what a local diner is supposed to be. Excellent breakfast special with good bacon, home fries, etc. Perfect grilled cheese with bacon and tomato. Not Starbucks, but strong fresh good coffee. I tried the local RI hot dog ... A Hot Weiner. Has mustard, sweet raw onions, celery salt and meat sauce. Interesting combo, but I guess I prefer Chicago's. The waitresses were friendly and attentive. Maybe those who complained about them were at the diner during a pre-game crush. If you're in the mood for a local American diner, this one will definitely satisfy.

Food was what can be expected at a small diner and it was reasonably priced. It's a very "locals" and "regulars" kind of place but I still found it odd that the waitress was swearing and complaining about her life outside of the diner so much. If I was with a child or an older family member I would have been uncomfortable.

This place was very good. Got the fish and chips and it was fantastic. Great crispy fish, great fries, heck even the cole slaw was good. Came with a cup of chowder. Wasn't expecting red broth, but I assure you, it was right on par. Great chowder. $8.99 for the both=wallet friendly. Also, I just had a complication from a throat procedure, and the waitress was more than accommodating. I must have asked her for 5 glasses of water due to the surgery, and she was more than happy to get it for me. Also, we asked her how long she had worked there, and she said "2 baseball seasons". I thought to myself, this waitress rules!! Any female than can base a period of time in sports seasons, gets an ok in my book. I don't know what the 1 star review was all about, but all the servers there seemed to be on top of their game, and doing a fantastic job. I don't know what the other food options in the area are, but this is a great spot to stop. Next time I go to a game, I wouldn't think of going anywhere else. Good job!

No, just no. You've probably seen this place if you've ever gone to McCoy Stadium because it's right out infront. The food is mediocre, which wouldn't stop me from coming back, because most diner food in the area is the same. However, our waitress was entirely rude. She started off with a huff and a puff like we just took her away from her soap operas, with a groaning "you wanna menu?" Uh yeah lady, we just sat down, are we suppose to put on our psychic hats to discover what we want to eat? Then we asked if they accepted credit cards. Huff.. puff.. No... cash only. Should have figured, it's only 2010. The rest of the experience just entailed being totally ignored and having food thrown at us and quickly walked away from. The place is tiny and empty, how do you have better things to do than be a mediocre waitress? Overall, the eggs and bacon didn't turn me away but there are plenty of average diners in town with better service, so I'll stick to those.

Best diner on Earth! The hot wieners are unreal, the homefries are delicious, and it is authentic. The place is tiny, so i like to go when it isn't crowded. I went all the time when I was a kid because my Grandma lived in Pawtcket. Now I live in Florida and can only get to New England once or twice a year. I always make it back to the right spot - even if I start a winter road trip in Springfield MA headed for Maine, I will go out of my way to eat at The Right Spot. The service has been friendly since I started eating there in 1985 without fail. It is also a great place to get an ice cream cone before a PawSox game on a hot summer day! If you are hungry in Pawtucket, you gotta go to The Right Spot.
